That game was sad. LeBron was the only Cavalier on the court that wanted to win. And they’re going to lose him like tomorrow. Brutal. They lost LeBron the very moment the clock went to zero.

I see that Durant’s stats were tremendous too, but I really felt like it should have been Steph getting MVP.

He was the best player on the Dubs 3 out of 4 games. The only reason Durant scored 26 in game 1 was the referees were giving him every bullshit call under the sun. He was TERRIBLE that game.

Game 1 was the end of the series. That mentally shattered LeBron beyond repair and he doesn't have a single person on his squad he can turn to. The second JR Goat ran out the clock, LeBron was out the door.

Now they are pushing a narrative that Lebron was hurt last three games. GTFOH. Push a narrative? He punched a whiteboard in anger in the locker room after game one and had his hand swollen to the point an MRI couldn’t read it. It’s not about excuses when it’s just true.

So predictions where LeBron ends up? I say Boston or LA. Maayyyybe Philly, but the drama surrounding that team right now might scare him off.
Are there salary caps in the NBA? I can’t remember.

I’m going San Antonio. Kawhi to the Lakers. That would be great. I would love to see what Lebron would do with a great coach and i am sure he would let Pop coach him.

LeBron hasn’t really let anyone coach him in years. He refused to listen to the guy in Cleveland before Lue, refused to play the four in Miami, etc. I can’t imagine him going somewhere with a drill sergeant type coach like Pop. I still think it’s LA, Cleveland or Houston but I think he’d be crazy to not at least consider chatting with Boston about their interest.
After some review of stats, I found myself okay with Durant winning MVP. He was better than Curry in games 2 and 3 and was considerably more efficient over the course of the series, Curry took more shots to score less and the flash of what he was doing was hiding Durant’s terrific 10-14 game 2 and his triple double in game 4. He’ll Durant wasn’t even that bad in game 1 because he got himself to the line several times to make up for his 1-7 night from 3.
Durant probably was the MVP, despite me enjoying what Curry did more.

If Lebron is going to the Spurs Kwahi got to stay. As for where I think Lebron will go to let's take a look at some of the teams Houston-----------I think this is the team he will make the most sense, fit perfectly for the team you got CP3 who is good friend with, and James Harden plus you got shooters around you. Only issue is how Houston can sign Lebron? Answer of that to clear some cap room is they probably have to find a way to dump a combination of Ryan Anderson, and Eric Gordon/Trevor Ariza maybe all three. They may have to re announce the rights of Clint Caplea too(Which I might be mistaken.) to have cap room to sign Lebron. Boston------------I agree with mikec he would be crazy not to at least consider the Celtics. If he is serious wanting to win another ring Celtics is another team he needs to strongly consider. 76ers-------------With the young up and coming team I would say yeah I dig it teaming with Simmons and Embiid will be interesting. In terms of fit not that great compare to the Rockets since 76ers don't really have much good reliable shooters. So even with the addition of Lebron, or not they need shooters for spacing for guys to operate not saying 76ers is ruled out because of it alone if anything if the 76ers was ruled out is because as RT say is because the drama may chase Lebron away which he doesn't want to deal with the drama. LA Lakers----------Some nice young players but the only thing i can see Lebron sign with the Lakers is if he have another star joining forces with him to play along side which is possible but it won't be enough to beat the Warriors he is better off sign with the Rockets, Celtics, or 76ers. Golden State---------I am going to go ahead, and throw this out there it is impossible unless either Lebron take a significant, huge paycut, or the Warriors have to dump of the players such as Draymond Green, Klay Thompson those guys, and maybe some other piece. So I doubt this is going to happen but if somehow he does well like the old saying if you can't beat them, join them. But unlikely that is going to happen. While there are other teams probably hearing interest in his service such as the Heat and Clippers which I highly doubt he go those two teams. Of course there is the Cavs. I just can't see Lebron staying with the Cavs with the same squad next season at all unless Cavs make a significant and have to big a big changes to convince Lebron to stay, and that he can win another championship with not the same squad. He is leaving, and I see teams the strongest chance to get Lebron is the Rockets, Celtics, 76ers, Lakers, or a dark horse team that no one have mention.

Durant DID NOT get himself to the line in game 1, the refs put him there. 90% of the calls Durant got that game were horseshit. Complete bailout calls. Curry was the one that hit the big baskets that allowed GS to withstand that monster game by Lebron. Not to mention Durant got utterly cooked by Lebron this game, Lebron hit 10-15 shots with Durant guarding him.
Game 2 Durant fed off what Curry was doing. Curry was clearly the more impactful player that game.
Game 4. Do I really need to argue this one? It was Curry that came out swinging and set the tone for the Warriors to sweep.
The overall stats were HEAVILY skewed by Game 3 where Durant was historically great and Curry had one of the worst shooting games of his career. But Curry still was the more impactful player in this series. 3 out of 4 games Curry was the man.

Just saw JR Smith shooting around at the Oracle. He was quoted saying, “Getting ready for the next game. Cavs in 7.”
Apparently, he lost track of the series record.

But Curry still was the more impactful player in this series. 3 out of 4 games Curry was the man. I mean everyone takes what they can get from the refs. Curry didn’t get anything and even if Durant acted up a few it’s nothing that every other player in the league doesn’t do. Striking you’re using defense as an example for how Curry was better, with how he was the worst defender on the floor for Golden State most of the time he was out there, hiding on non threats. The averages aren’t actually that overwhelmed by Game 3. Take Curry’s worst game out and on average Curry scored 9 more points per game but needed 7 more shots per night to get there, they shot the same from the floor, Durant had more boards and assists, and he averaged a higher plus/minus than Curry had, beating him in all four games they played. Curry’s three games were considerably more flashy because Steph is more flashy and he took a ton of shots, but Durant’s stats are right there with him. And then you add in game 3 where Curry has the worst game between the two and Durant had the best game of the two guys through the finals, and it’s at least understandable why it went the way it did.
