Imma need Artem from DWTS to swoop in with a quickness so we can get some cute Russian/Italian/Mexican mixed raced babies to join Birdie as the next generation of the Bella/Danielson/Laurinaitis wrestling dynasty. Cena's workrate was never the right fit.

I don't know how much is scripted and how much is real on total divas, I mean obviously I know it's nearly all scripted to an extent but I never really got the vibe that John really liked Nikki. She was always kind of fawning over him but he often time seemed kind of indifferent and was really just with her for that slamming bod but really after seeing both of them on total divas/bellas, I feel bad for both of them that they had to be in a relationship with each other. Neither one of them comes off as likeable people unlike Brie and Daniel who are like the perfect couple and gives hope to average looking guys everywhere that they can land a girl way hotter than them. This feels like more of a John Cena move than it does a Nikki move.

Are you kidding? This is absolute gold for the show - especially with the rumours that John cheated on her. 

I think the biggest shock here is that they lasted six years.

Now I have no doubts they actually loved each other, but right from the beginning, it was very clear things were gonna be super tough when Cena was adamant about never wanting to have kids or get married when that was all Nikki wanted. A huge compromise for both parties, which in the end, could have led to everything completely crashing down.

Now we all know why he got squashed at WM. Johnny Ace may have stepped down from his VP role and gave his position to HHH, but the man still has a lot of power and say so in the company. Johnny Ace is Bres dad and you don’t cross Big Johnny!

So Miz and Maryse were right all along?

It wouldnt surprise me if he gets fired or jobs the rest of his time there if thats the case.

I sense a reuniting storyline just in time for a Match Made in Heaven 2, complete with real wedding, at WrestleMania 35 (if not sooner).

People Magazine has since published a new report on the Cena Bella split, noting that Nikki is devastated by the couple’s decision to end their relationship as Cena reportedly got “cold feet” as they neared their wedding date.

I still think Cena is a douche. Nikki deserves someone who loves her for her and will put her first.

I don't think Cena realizing he didn't want to marry her makes him a douche. I mean if he cheated on her then yeah but just simply realizing it wasn't going to work, BFD. I've been there myself when your trying to play the part but after awhile you realize it's just not who you are and you have to put a stop to this lie your living. Of course I feel bad for Nikki but at the same time I don't see Cena as the bad guy in this scenario, not that Nikki is to blame just things don't work out sometimes and nobody has to be the bad guy.

Again, watch Total bellas....it dives much deeper into their relationship. He constantly made her feel she wasn't good enough and more insecure about herself. He seems like a very cold hearted man.

He strung her along for years making her jump through his hoops and compromise for him, only for him to break it off (by some evidence quite abruptly) three weeks before they were supposed to get married? Yeah, he's a dick.

I've never seen Total Bellas, but are we taking everything that happens there as 100% real now? That seems strange to me. Aren't all these "reality" drama shows scripted to some degree?

Reality tv is the new Pro Wrestling. Try telling someone reality tv is a work in anyway and people lose it.

If I remember correctly, Cena proposed privately and then did it for WWE/Total Bella’s at Wrestlemania.

The hoops he made Nikki jump through were real and started long before Total Bellas. Nikki's mom and Brie have been concerned about John since day 1.

Honestly they probably should have broken up a long time ago considering the marriage/kids thing. You just can't compromise on something like that with one party feeling resentment and bitterness. Cena's in the wrong for proposing when he knew he wasn't a fence sitter and Nikki should have left him after he let his feelings known instead of trying to wear him down and "hope".

But hey they're famous, good looking millionaires... I'm sure there's someone out there they're compatible with...

Exactly.  And what says he was stringing Nikki along?  Maybe at one point he really did want it, then had second thoughts.  It happens, it doesn't automatically make the person the scum of the earth.  

Also could someone elaborate on the alleged "hoops" he made Nikki jump through?  And I'm not saying Cena isn't a dick, if he in real life is like he was in Cena House Rules episode of Total Bellas then yeah he's certainly a dick at least when it comes to his living quarters but again, how much of that is a producer telling him to act that way and how much is him is hard to say.  We shouldn't judge a reality tv show on what their lives are like.  

The contract and rules were big red flag. He kept telling Nikki he would consider having a kid and marriage just to pacify her when she was close to realizing things would never change. He should've cut the cord long ago.
