That AJ vs Nakamura was the best one of the series thus far. Kinda sad considering all the build up to Wrestlemania. Hopefully they continue to get better.

The Carmella reign really seems to be falling flat which is too bad; maybe we'll se her lose to Asuka. (Hi I just got announced as the next challenger to the title and I'll react and approach the ring the same way I always do no matter the situation just to illustrate my lack of emotional range).

I hope it's not Kofi in the MITB match, no way he wins and he would be there just to do a stunt. Would love to see Big E in the match and win to start a singles push.

I don't really think it's falling flat, Carmella's still a good promo who's able to get good crowd heat - but thye didn't put enough effort into her segment this week. Some of the time they really give those types of heel celebration segments a lot of good material, and this time they just didn't. They needed more bells & whistles to liven things up just beyond the town crier.

They had her pin the golden girl Charlotte clean, if that doesn't suggest that they are confident in her then nothing does.

Personally I think it would be a huge mistake to have Asuka lose again.   

That was a really lazy Carmella promo that anybody here could have come up with in their sleep. That was a golden opportunity for them to be real about Carmella and highlight how she worked her way from the bottom to the top and even put over how significant her victory over Charlotte Flair really was. The path they went down was just a lazy way to get to Asuka/Carmella, which they could have got to at any other point.

This Big Cass vs. Daniel Bryan angle took a strange turn. Normally you wouldn't see the heel get their comeuppance until the PPV yet here we are and Bryan got the better of him in the ring and next week it appears he's going to be fodder for Joe. They'll probably still drag it out to the PPV, even though the common sense thing would be to blow it off on SD and having Bryan move onto Andrade Cien Almas at Money in the Bank.

You couldn't go wrong with any member of the New Day or the Bar being in Money in the Bank. Well, maybe if you let Sheamus win the briefcase again and try to push him as a main event level talent, but none of these five are winning.

Similarly, I don't think you could go wrong with having Mandy Rose, Sonya DeVille or Becky Lynch in the Money in the Bank. Becky is the better performer so I'm glad she's there, but Mandy and Sonya are beginning to look like they can hang with the best of them. They put together some neat triple threat spots, specifically the Doomsday Device spot where Becky took out the bottom rung, that was a good surprise.

Never thought I'd see 'mad dog' used in the right context on WWE television. Bless the Iiconics, they're the ambassadors this country deserves.

And the main event was really good. On one hand it's a feather in the cap, on the other I just saw a Rollins match on Raw that gave it a real run for it's money, so I'm disappointed neither guy has yet to have that clear-cut MotY contender match. Maybe it's coming inside the Hell in a Cell Inferno match? Or was it a pole on pole match? Regardless, I thought this was a top tier AJ Styles TV match with a great Eddie Guerrero style finish that reminded me of their WrestleKingdom match where AJ feigned injury to get the advantage. As much as I critique the WWE, they've got a show that has Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Andrade Cien Almas, Samoa Joe, Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura on it. If nothing else, I'm going to watch their stuff every week.

I think Joe is gonna demolish Cass next week. He's been looking like a chump lately.

I didn't expect much from Carmella celebration but I thought the would give her a more tradition type princess attire. Or at least something beyond her normal clothes. I really think they didn't have much plan for her and just want to make the first women mitb winner not to look like a complete loser. Even if she only has that one win on Charlotte she can use that to brag about for years. She can always say she beat the one that beat Asuka, she beat a Flair, and she has more successful title defenses then Sasha if they are ever on the same show.
