The array of podcasts available for listening nowadays is crazy and a number of them have featured guests who used to be employed by the WWE as a part of the creative team and they often reveal a good few stories about angles that have been done but also ones that almost happened only to be fortunately or unfortunately cancelled at the last minute.

Kevin Eck is a good story teller who's not afraid of discussing the times of his moments in the production meetings with Vince, Kevin Dunne, Triple H etc.

I'm sure you may have heard a majority of them so I'll refrain from posting them but I'm wondering what you guys may have heard of storylines, ideas that creative discussed that were great, awful or whatever that you wish would have happened and played out?

The original pitch for the debut of Dean Ambrose coming in with AJ Lee after a stay in a mental institution as her boyfriend is one I heard and wonder if it would have been good although it would have meant he wasn't a part of The Shield when they debuted which I don't think would have been the same .

Another one is the production meeting prior to the money in the bank 2013 ppv where the whole team were undecided on a winner for the Smackdown MITB ladder match but it came to the majority agreeing with Wade Barrett being the one winning until last minute Vince over ruled the decision and ordered it be Damien Sandow that wins the briefcase. It was a decision that within a small amount of time mcmahon seemingly regretted as was apparent when Sandow lost his Championship opportunity to John Cena becoming the first MITB winner to be defeated.

Fuck Man Wade Barrett deserved it
