You mean....we could've had Joe vs Daniel Bryan!?!? But we're stuck with boring Cass...

The six man just screams Raw Main Event. But hey when you decide Brock only defends on the Big Four this is the type of crap we gotta deal with. And when Vince gets a BILLION for churning out sludge... we can't expect it to change.

If they changed the match I bet that means Joe is winning the briefcase. I can't think of any other good reason they would do Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass AGAIN.
If they make the six-man tag an EXTREME RULES match then it could be ok. Judging by how it's booked it'll be the big blow-off between Reigns/Mahal, Strowman/Owens & Lashley/Zayn. It actually makes sense if they want to end all 3 feuds with only 1 guy eating a pin. Reigns can pin Mahal while everyone else is killing each other and they can call the feuds done and move on.

Yeah is the 6 man is an extreme rules match it could be some chaotic fun. I'm less optimistic about a big Cass/DB trilogy happening. The first match was not good. I can't see the MITB match being much better. and a third match...nobody wants to see that. I get though that they have to give DB something to do before they pair him and Miz for Summerslam but Cass is a real sucky opponent to get saddled with. He's everything we've come to hate about big guys in the business. Hell Strowman is double his size but is actually a pretty decent worker. Cass is very limited in the ring and while not bad on the mic, isn't exactly wowing me either.

I think they got paired up for two reasons:
1) Cass is a pretty safe worker. 2) Daniel Bryan is one of the few guys in the company that can make any match good, even if all he can do is make the crowd chant "YES!" a bunch.
They want Cass to get comfortable as a singles guy and seem credible, and they don't want Daniel Bryan working with anyone stiff. It is what it is. Hopefully after Extreme Rules they move on and Bryan gets a good feud in the late summer.
