I’m tuning in right now to my Mizzou Tigers opening warm-up against UT Martin.
What’s everyone else doing on this most glorious of September Saturdays?

Currently at the Yankee game. On line for a fucking water bottle for the last 10 minutes now. I also paid $15 for a beer. They’re so lucky I didn’t want to cause a scene in front of people. But yeah, row 3 section 110. Right by the field next to the newest Yankee, McClutchen.

Doubt I'll watch many games this season but I'm pleased to see Hawaii get off to a good start. The return to the run and shoot offence has been a big success with Colt McDonald racking up 846 yards and 9 touchdowns in the first two games.

I dipped in and out of VT/FSU and boy did Florida State shit the bed. Their offensive line is absolutely embarrassing.
Cam Akers had 14 carries for 82 yards which sounds reasonable enough until you find out that he had a long of 85!

Man this thread is dead! I guess we lost our last two main college posters when Hitman and Sea Slug didn't make the journey with us to the new land. 😞
The MAC have some midweek games from now until the end of the season so I'll be watching those. Ball State @ Toledo tonight was all over very quickly with Toledo leading 21-0 after about 7 minutes of play. It ended up 45-13, and that was even with Toledo throwing 5 interceptions.
One of those picks was absolutely spectacular though and worth staying the course for:

1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. LSU 4. Notre Dame
That's how the Top Four looks in the first College Football Playoff ranking. Two takeaways from this.
1. Alabama/LSU is gonna be big. Loser gets eliminated from the race possibly.
2. 5-10 are all one loss teams, and undefeated Central Florida is only at #12. In fact, they're outranked by a two-loss Florida team at #11. Talk about short-sticking them.

UCF have given up over 700 yards to Temple tonight so that's not going to help their cause. Some very questionable refereeing calls to help them along the way too.

I don’t know if the loser of Alabama/LSU gets eliminated. Especially if Alabama loses, they’ll find a way to get back in.
Best set of games of the season so far. Pumped for that game and Penn State/Michigan.

Mizzou just mauled Florida in the Swamp and I both love and hate college football.
This team should be 7-2 and ranked inside Top-15.

It was criminal that Florida outranked undefeated UCF. Well, that result changes that.
Anyway, on to Death Valley. Hope Alabama gets whooped.

Midweek MACtion was so sweet tonight! Western Michigan are a fun run-first team with two great complimentary backs - senior Jamauri Bogan the thunder and Levante Bellamy providing the lightning - and on an ice cold night in Muncie, IN they rumbled for 361 yards rushing.
However, unlike a couple of weeks ago when they were thoroughly trounced, Ball State came to play despite being 10 point underdogs, and despite their run defence being gashed, capitalised on a forced fumble and some efficient play from backup QB Drew Plitt to lead at half time. WMU benefited from a couple of highly disputable refereeing calls in the second half and sent the game to OT, where on the opening play Ball State pulled out a fantastic reverse with one WR throwing to another for a huge gain and setting up a TD. WVU answered with a touchdown of their own, but chose to go for the win with a two point conversion where they ran a pretty horrible looking read-option that didn't get close - and suffered a big dent to their bowl hopes.
There's a couple more games tomorrow - I think I'll be paying most attention to Buffalo vs Ohio to see some high powered offences.

No changes in the Top 10 of the CFP rankings. UCF, the only undefeated team not in the Top 10, did jump a spot to #11.

There's a couple more games tomorrow - I think I'll be paying most attention to Buffalo vs Ohio to see some high powered offences. Well one high powered offence came to play. Ohio absolutely destroyed the Bulls and temporarily halted their claim to the MAC East. Buffalo just showed zero regard for ball security, QB Tyree Jackson throwing very low percentage passes deep into double coverage, and two fumbles on potential big plays summed up their night. Ohio simply dominated with over 43 minutes of possession and 437 total rushing yards.

Maryland currently leads Ohio State 17-3. Crazy.
Weirdly, Alabama and The Citadel are tied at 7 in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Surely we’re not going to see the biggest upset in college football history right?

10-10 now.
I bet Saban will have an aneurysm when he gets to the locker room.

I bet the state of Michigan, minus a few Spartan backers, will be calling for the head of Jim Harbaugh after this embarrassment of a game.

No question this is Harbaughs last season in Michigan. His brother could be gone in Baltimore after this season, too.

Tua may have lost his shot at the Heisman tonight (Thanks in part to a good game by Kyler Murray), but Jalen Hurts won Alabama a spot in the playoff.

Ohio State is not very convincing at all. All points are leading to Oklahoma taking the #4 spot.
Here is your National Semifinals.
#1 Alabama vs. #4 Oklahoma
#2 Clemson vs. #3 Notre Dame

Been a wild start to the National Championship game! A pick six and two 60+ yard plays inside the first 5 minutes.

Tua is playing like hot ass right now. Don't be surprised if Saban pulls him at half-time.

It would be the exact reverse of what happened in last years championship game too. Almost the same deficit at half time as well.

I think that's game over, Bama's fake FG attempt fails and then a couple of plays later Clemson goes 75 yards to the house.

Hopefully I don’t wake up to some ridiculous comeback story tomorrow morning.
