Well Georgia's gonna be down a few key players after what happened today.  I don't like their chances.

Realistically, if Ohio State loses, shouldn’t Wisconsin move to 4?

I doubt it happens because I still think Ohio State finds a way to win this one. So if Ohio State wins, then the 4 will obviously be:

Clemson is going to SMASH LSU in a huge showdown of future NFL QBs. Ohio State should beat Oklahoma which should set up a dope ass Ohio State versus Clemson game.

Continuing my G5 content that no one is interested in, I watched both the Mountain West and MAC Championship games. My beloved Rainbow Warriors came up well short against Boise but the game was actually a lot closer than the scoreline suggested. They started the game well but getting stuffed at the goal line was a huge momentum shifter and when the Broncos scored two touchdowns in about a minute before half time it was all over. Hopefully they can beat BYU on Christmas to cap off what has been the best season for about a decade.

The MAC Championship game also swung on a big play in the second quarter when CMU attempted a fairly ridiculous fake punt on their own 19 yard line which lead to Miami hitting the front, and Central completely shit the bed after the break. We nearly got a dramatic finish when they recovered an onside kick but they were actually offside.

Looking forward to watching a bunch of obscure bowls!

Just elaborating on this now the schedule is out in case anyone wants to join me, here's the list of games I'm likely going to be watching live:

Music City Bowl - Miss State v Louisville

Ah yes, Bowl Season. Where even the small schools get the big national attention. Plus I noticed that the winners of the College Football Playoff semifinals will now get two full weeks to prepare for the National Championship. Kinda like the Super Bowl.

Roughing the kicker turns a punt back to Ohio State, into a first down, and later a TD.

And now a sure TD gets for Fields gets picked off, just after they got a fumble recovery.

Mississippi teams seem like the most fun team to follow - we talked about Ole Miss'sr Egg Bowl meltdown and now Miss St starting QB Garrett Shrader isn't playing in their bowl game because he got punched by LB Willie Gay for making a joke at practice about his tutoring scandal.

They're leading 7-0 after the first quarter thanks to a Louisville fumble ended a 96 yard drive.

It looked like State were going to run away with this going up 14-0 and Louisville's key LB Etheridge being (dubiously) ejected but they've fired right back with a trick play touchdown and a forced fumble on the subsequent kickoff.

Some very questionable refereeing in this game - and this is apparently the crew that's on the national championship game. Yikes.

MSST have gone right in the toilet after half time, the offence is going absolutely nowhere and the defence is leaving guys wide open and struggling with communication. Feels like the big difference between these teams is coaching.

Not missing a whole lot at the moment! Defences well on top, Oregon haven't picked up a first down on five straight possessions.

Absolutely brilliant game in the end, full of twists and turns.

Turnovers really doomed Wisconsin, their defence really dominated keeping Oregon to 200 yards but the four giveaways led to so many points. The broadcast can defend it but that OPI was an absolutely horrible flag at a critical time in the game - it's always annoying when the refs get overly involved and make a huge game deciding call.

Let's hope Georgia/Baylor can be half as good!

Not quite but at least Baylor made it remotely interesting after a terrible first half. 

Man these college games are long though. The Rose Bowl kicked off at 9:10 my time, and it's now 4:30 - a solid day at work! :lol:

I think they should move the start of the Rose Bowl up by at least half an hour. An hour would be better, as by the time all the bowls now are finished, it's after midnight on the east coast.

I'm guessing it's tradition for the Rose Bowl to be on at that time? Otherwise it would make a lot more sense to play the Sugar Bowl from NO in the late afternoon slot and the Rose Bowl late because it's on the west coast? Gotta say the Pasadena sunset was worth it though:
