Same for Andre Johnson in 2014, 2 pretty big concussions that year going after Fitzpatrick passes. I feel like Hopkins learned a lesson from that and refused to stick his neck out for Brock Osweiler that year is why his numbers were what they were, plus the money Brock was getting paid and how they wouldn't renegotiate a new deal with him that offseason(shortest hold out ever). Brock was bad but something about Hopkins that year he was just not putting forth the same effort like he did the year before and after.

I hope to see him brought back down to earth, how he handled 2016 season was all I need to know about this guy. Guy took snipes on the management to fit his personal agenda when he wasn't very good. Seeing Josh McCown in 2017 and 2018 act like a pure pro and put aside his ego for the better of this franchise to know and back Sam Darnold is the future is great. It's night and day. 

Lol, apples and oranges.   If I were Ryan Fitzpatrick I sure as hell ain't stepping aside for a scrub like Geno Smith, and judging by the locker room's utter lack of support for Geno I would say the Jets made the right choice.  By contrast Darnold is actually a great prospect and McCown stepping aside is great for the team.

Nathan Peterman had 2 First Downs all game. Josh Allen had 5 since entering the game (whenever they threw the stat up, I think it was early in the 4th).

This after the announcers were talking about how consistent Peterman was all camp and how he was the best in preseason and he earned the start.

The guy is an interception machine and sucks ass in almost every aspect of the game. I get not wanting to put your somewhat promising QB prospect in behind the league's worst O-line but good lord you have to do something. It isn't like Peterman is some veteran QB that can handle winning a handful of games and Allen needs to learn under him. What's he going to learn? How to not score touchdowns? How to make sure the other team has way more possession than you?

To add some more context to this, Russel Wilson got sacked 6 times yesterday and the Seahawks nearly pulled off a win anyway, and still had 3 TDs. Getting hit is just part of the game and Allen needs to get good, so throw him in there and hope for the best.

After rewatching parts of the game last night , mostly the second half parts and seeing that Clay play again I have to play conspiracy theorist for a bit. I think Clay Matthews hates Aaron Rodgers , I don't see any other explanation for such a boneheaded play - he wanted to ruin the comeback that he knew was going to even further cement Rodgers as the greatest Packer of not only this era but possibly all time.

I don't understand it for any other reason , I mean he even intentionally lowered his helmet AFTER Trubisky let go of the ball and hit him.

I hate him so badly , least favorite Packer for like three years running. If we released him today I'd be totally okay with it.

Thing is though, ARod's only Super Bowl win came during Clay's best season by far.   ARod WOULD NOT have that Super Bowl win without Clay.

If your conspiracy theory is correct, things would have had to go sour between them at some point because it couldn't have always been that way.
