WOW what a big signing for CJ Mosley. That is so much damn money for someone who shined last season in particular. Not sure about that move, how can the Jets sign Bell, Mosley, Paradis along with Barr and Crowder? I don't see it. That is so much money for Moseley, I get it Darnold has 4 more years on a rookie deal but still......

If they plan on moving Barr back to more of a pass rusher type role than it could make more sense.

That is what they will do.

They will have Anthony Barr be either a DE or (more likely) OLB to rock with Avery Williamson, CJ Mosley and Jordan Jenkins.

Maybe Jets go Q Williams at 3 if they don't trade down(Which is what I want) to help Leo Williams upfront.

I want offense but at 3 the talent just isn't matching up at this point. 

Good moves with Za'Darius Smith and Famous Amos btw Packers. And TEDDY HEISMAN staying with the Saints, happy wherever he goes for how he handled the Jets training camp and preseason. Same if McCown returns for yet another NFL season. True professionals. Thought Teddy would go to Miami, happy he isn't because I like to root for him. 

Honestly crazy what is happening to the AFC North. The Steelers losing both Bell and Brown and the Ravens losing their QB of the last decade and majority of their defense. That division officially belongs to the Browns right now. The Browns are a 12 win team this season.

They got Big Shel on a monster deal, if he has truly matured which remains to be seen he is a real talented run stuffer. Pair him with Ogbah and Garrett upfront, that is very nice. 

Packers sign Z. Smith and Amos. Solid signings that allow us for more flexibility going into the draft. Amos is a great coverage safety according to all PFF metrics and Smith at the very least can rush the passer.

Interesting in seeing the numbers and they aren’t flashy but is the type of signings I expected. Also like the fact they both are young.

Honestly, the Browns are really exciting me so far. I know this. Isn’t the time to be too excited but my super early prediction has them getting a first round bye in the playoffs.

I’m also loving the signings by the Jets. I think they’re really making some great moves on defense and Greg Williams is going to make these boys into men.

Terrell Suggs has also signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Not sure why he left Baltimore to join a team that will have an even harder shot at getting into the playoffs.

Speaking of RBs, the Saints say goodbye to Mark Ingram and have signed Latavius Murray. Not sure I like the idea of the Saints giving up on Ingram and I don’t think Murray provides anything for this team. Dudes garbage.

The Jets have taken some of the money offered to Barr’s contract and added it to Lev Bells offer and it is their FINAL offer. The Jets are telling Bell and his agent to make a decision because they can’t wait forever. So it does look like today could be the day.

Yeah but Barr hasn't been a pass rusher really since college , the Jets were taking quite a gamble that he could come in and anchor their pass rush considering he's been an off the ball linebacker since he arrived in Minnesota. Especially since they were also signing Mosley to do what Barr does best , better than Barr. It's probably more of a blessing in disguise for the Jets. 

Packers filling holes is nice , we could still address any or all of these positions in the draft but this lends flexibility to just take whatever stud might fall to them at 12. Whether it be Hockensen , White or Bush , or defensive line - I like the moves enough though the early numbers on Z'Darious contract scare me. I imagine it has to be front loaded like Turners was.

True, hoping we get someone to apply the pressure. Maybe this is the Nick Perry of 2019 offseason, Jets dodged a bullet with him after being very close to inking him to a long term deal. 

Perry is great and I’ll miss him but he can’t stay healthy. He could be a solid rotation guy for anyone.

Ugh. I really dislike this move. I think I speak for the entire fan base when I say that I love Mark Ingram and wanted him to return. The duo of he and Kamara were lights out the last two seasons plus he was a great locker room guy. Signing Murray who is an inferior back and the same age to a four year deal makes little sense to me. I know Ingram would’ve commanded more money but they could’ve figured out a way to work out that type of contract. I will root for him wherever he lands.

Yeah man. I’m really upset to see The Honey Badger leave Houston. He’s one of my favorite players in the NFL. He does help KCs D though and could spell the end of Eric Berry in KC.

You guys have signed Bradley Roby who is a pretty inconsistent cornerback that I saw Robbie Anderson beat on numerous occasions down the field. He also had his heart questioned by Jason Witten on MNF one time. 

I love how basically every season there's someone who looks like they're about to sign with the Jets and then backs out.

I think it's pathetic honestly and it lessens the overall players union when they do this whenever they feel the players don't get enough. Be upfront about it, it's a two way street. They should do away with this non tampering period altogether and let teams sign whoever at Monday 12PM.
