I know we all should be loving what's happening to Cleveland. But they still got to play the games. And given the Browns' modern history, a playoff spot still isn't certain.

They would have made the playoffs last season had they not wasted half a season with one of the worst head coaches in the history of the league, and they've added two top 5 players at their positions while their main rivals have lost their best player. I think they'll be fine.

I love what the Browns are doing and think they are really building something but they still aren’t a lock for anything. Second year QB and first year head coach gives me some pause.

I’ve been a Baker guy since before the draft , I thought he was awesome last year and made a great case to be OROY - but the second year can be super tough.

I’ll defintely be rooting for them though. Would be great to see the Browns go 12-4 and play in some important games.

Oh yeah, good for the Jets, just saying that it proves the suspicion that Bell was always overestimating his value and the idea that he would ever get paid like a WR was fanciful. Still, from his perspective I guess he got to chill for a year and still got a long term deal so it's no great loss.

ESPN already put in a call to make sure Steelers/Jets is a MNF game this year. Probably going to be Week 3 or something. Steeler players are gonna look to whack him.

I like this contract and I am anti sign a RB to a big deal too, I like drafting that back but that's a fair contract for all. Dual threat back hopefully he has a chip on his shoulder. I hated the parade that came with this and I think Bell was begging for someone to come up with something to beat the Jets offer but...

Jets told his agent to have him take it or leave it and Bells camp didn't play around. First time Mccagnan had big boys pants on since the Darnold trade. Every March he does something ballsy.

Ya boy Beechum mans the blindside and hoping Osmele has a better campaign health wise and I like Shell but Winters sucks and we still need a Center.

Jets need to draft at least one lineman and like sign Wisniewski to do center. It's a mediocre oline but his damage comes out as a receiver. We haven't had someone who can catch the ball reliably since Forte and he wasn't healthy for his final year.

Im gonna miss Powell though, love that son of a gun. Not sure if he will play again but loyal and played his ass off every time and was a great teammate.

I don’t know how Bell doesn’t fire his agent. I said it while it was happening, but his agent was doing it for race equality bullshit. Something he has fought about his whole life. He ended up using Bell as a pawn in it. Bell doesn’t even have the best RB contract. Still second to “NOT INJURED, I PRUMISS!” Todd Gurley. I’m happy he’s with us, but I would be mad if I was Bell. Still more shocked about the OBJ trade. I don’t know if Gettlemen fucked the franchise or not, but I expected OBJ to be gone sooner or later. Dude was a virus to that franchise. Now let’s see if all the personalities can mesh in Cleveland. I can see Baker and OBJ shouting at each other mid game if shit doesn’t go smoothly. I’m excited for the Browns this season though. They’re going to be awesome to watch.

Fair to say; Browns, Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, Jets and Texans are the playoff teams this year. Maybe replace Houston with Indy. Should be fun.

I don't know much about the business side of the game but it didn't make a lick of sense to me last year when they signed Mathieu to just a 1 year deal. If you are going to sign somebody like that it seems to me like you would go for a minimum of 2 or 3 years or you are just kinda wasting time. The loss of Kareem Jackson really stings though. Sucks to see all of these teams in our conference only get better while we are losing key guys and getting worse.

Jets got ways to go before I put em over Chargers or even Colts. But I am just happy Sam Darnold has some help, I felt so bad watching him try and will this team by himself. He did everything in his power vs Green Bay for example practically running for his life and they lost. Gase should be a good mind for him and now he has something at RB and WR. Draft an OLineman or two and lets go. Darnold deserves some toys, I truly believe in this guy.

Still have money to spend since Barr didn't join us. Not sleeping on that Henry Anderson deal, fucking loved that guy 2nd half of the year. Cant believe Jets got him from Indy for a 7th, guy played his ass off. 

Can't say I'm too thrilled about Jamison Crowder, though. Dude seemed like a bum. Maybe he has a Jericho Cotchery type of impact for the Jets, but that WR core is still going to slow them down unless we see big leaps from Anderson and Enunwa.

Obviously the Browns are the winners of FA, but I would give the Jets top 3-4 so far.
