It sucks to see the Colts being so quiet so far , but they don't have a ton of needs either. Tyrell Williams is a good get for them along with some defensive depth - but they didn't need to make any of the huge splashes early in FA being one of the best teams already. I don't see (barring major injury) how the Colts miss the playoffs.
They have also been pretty good at signing the 2nd-3rd wave of free agents who come in and make an impact.

Speaking of Tyrell, he has signed with the Raiders and will be the new duo with AB.
Speaking of duo signings, the Baltimore Ravens may not be dead in the water yet. They have signed Earl Thomas AND Mark Ingram.
Also, Jason Myers jetted from the Jets and is joining Seattle.
Also, Tyrod Taylor will now play backup QB to Philip Rivers in Los Angeles.

Good for Mark. I hope he plays his ass off for them.
On the Saints side, I don’t understand how they couldn’t match that contract. They gave Murray 1.5 less annually. Ultimately, I think we will be fine. We have a great track record of developing running backs and I’m excited for Kamara to get more of an expanded role in the offense.

Can't say I'm too thrilled about Jamison Crowder, though. Dude seemed like a bum. Maybe he has a Jericho Cotchery type of impact for the Jets, but that WR core is still going to slow them down unless we see big leaps from Anderson and Enunwa. I don't know where you've got this from - he's an upper tier slot receiver over the past few years. Last season was a write off with his injury and the general shitshow that Washington were, but Adam Gase's offence runs a lot through the slot receiver (Landry had 206 catches in two seasons in Miami) so I expect him to put up significant numbers.

Hr nailed it with Crowder. I had him back to back years I think in our keeper league so I kept a close eye on him in particular.
Redskins had FOUR different starting Qbs the second half of the year in Smith, Mccoy, Sanchez and Johnson, the latter three are fringe NFL Qbs at best. You can't hold that on any of the weapons on offense, forget chemistry and rep time they weren't even that good especially Sanchez. Crowder was hampered the first half of the year if I recall so by the time he came back it was too late and DC ran behind Peterson & Perrine and hoped for the best.
Stats for the DC targets go out the window because of that IMHO. That has to be taken into consideration.

Jets special teams took a hit today. Myers will be missed but for whatever reason he had trouble with gimmie XPs throughout his career maybe it is a mental issue but I think he can be replaced.
Hate seeing Andre Roberts in Buffalo though. He did damage as a kick returner.
Jets placing faith in Brant Boyer being able to find diamonds in the rough again. He's been an awesome special teams guy his small time he has been here.
I just hate losing so much in one section of the team like ST.

With Bridgwater ugh maybe going to Miami, Tyrod Taylor in LA, and maybe that scrub Tannehill going to the Saints, and Josh McCown being a family man..... fuck it sign Blake Bortles to back Darnold up.
He's the king of Stat padding in blowout games and not one team has yet to stop his Michael Vick like scrambling. He is like the modern era Tim Tebow.
Run some wildcat formation with Bortles taking lead, he can be Leveons backup with his running ability.
BOWLES should have been fired after letting BORTLES THROW FOR ALMOST FOUR HUNDRED YARDS IN A GAME. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?

Teddy Bridgewater decided to stay in New Orleans and I don’t blame him. The Saints are still favorites to win the NFC.
I think Bortles stays in Florida and joins the Dolphins.
In other interesting news, Ha Ha is visiting with the Bears and that would be a great signing for them. You know he wants revenge against Green Bay and to get them twice a year; yeah he’s down.
I also think McKinnon gets cut. Tevin Coleman the new man there and I’m glad he’s not a Jet, but this could be good for him.

I really hate how Baltimore always picks up free agents I don't want Baltimore to have. Weddle leaves, they get Earl Thomas. Plus Ingram, fuck.

Those two Buffalo fans meeting Mitch Morse at the airport with buffalo wings are my new favourite people. I’m reading that Buffalo is crushing free agency but I don’t know much about the people they’ve signed, other than Frank Gore and Kevin Johnson (whom I’ve only heard of..he any good shinobimusashi?) Anyway go team I guess. Draft smart and maybe next season won’t be a total dumpster fire.

Kevin Johnson has had his head wobbled so many times that he's always one nasty clash away from a concussion.
On top of that, he sucks.

I'm cool with Tate. Dude has a golden heart, merrr see, but the Giants going to need more then Tate to do damage. I'm curious to see how angry this new look team will play. There's a chance they surprise and they kill it this year and win the division.
Maybe this the year, Jets and Giants both in the playoffs and make some real noise.

It's a good deal in isolation, if Devin Funchess is getting 13 million then 9 per year for Golden Tate is good value.
What they are trying to achieve at the moment does seem a little bit confused but I think the narrative has now skewed way too far now that everyone is piling on Gettleman like he is the worst GM of all time. I'm devastated about losing Odell but at the same I don't think we are in that bad of a situation compared to a week ago.

Tate isn’t that young anymore and the Giants are probably a few years away from competing for anything - so I don’t understand the state signing. Especially for him.

True, but I'm assuming he didn't get any sort of decent offer from the teams he would have been hoping for like the Patriots or Steelers. The fact that he signed for a relatively small contract (and after the other slot guys like Crowder and Humphries) suggests there wasn't a huge market. I understand the criticism that the Giants aren't doing one thing or another, and misjudging their window has caused some of the problems in recent seasons. But if we draft a QB he has to have someone to throw the ball to, and Tate is about as QB friendly a receiver as there is.

He's not too good bubba, Todd pretty much covered it. Looking back at his tenure here it's crazy that he was a first round pick, looking it up just now holy shit he was a 16th overall pick! I don't remember that, what a waste. Looking back the only memories I have are of him getting burned.
