The afc south is so unimpressive. I dont know how Houston has 9 wins. Best team I saw WAS Jacksonville but it seemed like it was an abboration that Bortles had the game of the career he did.

I actually really enjoyed the Jets/Texans game. A few too many penalties but a good game. I've seen the Jets once or twice this season but much earlier in the season and Darnold is much improved since then. Looks a class player. Jets played better than their record. Build around Darnold and the future looks promising.

Some Texans notes:

- This was the 5th game winning drive from Watson this season. It's great to have such a young player have such a winning mentality. I know O'Brien buys a lot into that coming out of college and he's got himself a quarterback.

- If Lamar Miller is out, ugh, that's big problems for the Texans. Why do all football announcers insist on describing Alfred Blue as a good player? I have only ever see him be successful coming into the game after Miller has demoralised the run defense. Blue is terrible.

- Get Cole on the field. McKinney and Cunningham are great on the blitz and they hit hard but they can't cover. Mercilus is also inside a lot so he's having to cover. He's a fucking pass rusher. We get killed in the middle of the field.

- Is there anyone you would take catching a 50/50 ball over Hopkins? Guy has shovels for hands. Incredible game-winning performance.

- Can Watt and Luck share the CPoY award? Both deserve it.

I don't know if it's just because I've burnt myself out watching too many games this season, just because I'm burnt out on both the Steelers and Patriots, or because it's just not that interesting - but I can't really get into this game.

Love the defensive performance, a broken coverage and committing a bad penalty away from allowing nothing. Couple bad turnovers again, and Boswell just has to go. Almost cost yet another game on a bad miss, becoming too much of a liability. Can't wait to get Conner vack

All those penalties really killed the Patriots, very surprising considering they are normally so disciplined. The o-line was shocking down the stretch.

Incredibly dumb sequence of events by Goff and the Rams.

Goff just isn't playing very well. Missed two very makeable chances at TD passes there in the red zone.

I made it to the semi finals in all 4 money leagues.

I lost in 3 of them. That Gurley TD just ended it for me.

I feel like that’s the same as saying Buffalo will be a force to be reckoned with in 2019.

Just because you have a young QB who looks promising and some talent scattered around the field doesn’t mean you’re going to kick everyone’s ass next year. Doesn’t mean anything.

I think Cleveland has a better chance at being a decent team next year than Buffalo does, but let’s just wait and see what kind of team they field around Mayfield next year. Hopefully it’s good. I would love to see the Browns do well.

Apparently, after the Saints swept the Panthers and beat them in the playoffs to make it 3-0 for the season; someone on the Saints (unknown) mailed Cam Newton a broomstick. Supposedly, Cam has kept it in the locker all season waiting for this match up.

So yeah, it’s personal.

Is it that crazy? Most teams not making the playoffs are there because of their quarterback. He's clearly playing injured and can't throw the ball with any velocity.
