When I see Philip Rivers, I see this generation's Dan Fouts. Both great quarterbacks, who put up great numbers in the regular season. But implode when it comes to playing in the playoffs. Not entirely their fault, their defenses always let them down at that point.

One thing I know from football this season is that the Chargers are never out of a game. They’re a second half team. Ask the Steelers. Ask the Chiefs, too.

Yet another playoff choke from Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. Anyone really surprised?
A lot of Giants fans lament the fact the Giants traded up for Eli instead of drafting Rivers, but I don't for one second. I would rather have a QB give me two amazing playoff runs that resulted in 2 Super Bowl rings than a bunch of amazing regular seasons that added up to nothing.

Chargers really got saved right there. A 28 point deficit is big, but a 31 point halftime deficit just feels 100x worse.

They were responsible for the two biggest comebacks in playoff history. I was only suggesting that they use those as good luck charms.

All aspects of the Patriots have been absolutely phenomenal. I know we hate them, but imagine how much we'd be pissing with excitement if literally any other team did this in the divisional round. Truly brilliant.

I saw what I needed outta the Chargers last week to predict they were gonna lose today. Baltimore played offense one handed yet that game was far closer than it should've been. Now that they're playing a real NFL offense you see the results. You ain't beating NE in Foxboro in a close game, it has to be decisive.
Still hope the Chargers somehow prove me wrong though.

I love how momentum can completely shift one just one or two plays. New Orleans looked like a bunch of jabronis a few minutes of game time ago, yet that great fake punt call by Payton has set them rolling and now the Eagles are the ones on the back foot.

This is my favourite weekend for football all year and it’s been the worst 4 games I’ve watched in a while. At least this game isn’t a blow out yet. Saints hanging around.
