I can’t fault the guy for signing at home on a good team. I’d be sad to see him leave but he got Toronto a title and never really planned on staying longer anyway so it is what it is.

All the things Raptors did for him should mean something. Load management, trusting him about his health etc. He even praised them for it. I am sick of these superteams. Three of the Top 10 players in the same team is bullshit. Not even GSW had that.

I honestly lost every ounce of respect I had for GS as an organization.   The trade was punishment for Iggy exposing just how shady the Warriors medical staff is.

Golden State had to get rid of someone because of the sign and trade rules forcing them to a hard cap. If I have to get rid of somebody, makes sense to get rid of the guy throwing them under bus on radio, and it helps if they’re expensive, older, and losing a step.

The Iguodala thing is just sports. He got the deal by threatening them he’d go to Houston, not sure why they have to pay him the full deal if he wasn’t committed to them.

I think the question was why do people sign with the Rangers but not the Knicks. So I answered it in truth. 

Well the Knicks are probably the biggest joke in the NBA , so that doesn’t help. And they sign guys , just not great players and then spend their money in stupid spots.

Also bungle their draft picks , trade the one guy who they drafted that actually had the potential to be something.

I like Portis as an upside player but haven’t seen the contract.

As a Knicks fan, I have to say I'm not that mad at the moves the mad that's another story. What makes me mad is Dolan's comments. Don't say you were relucent to sign him because of the injury AFTER he goes to to the Nets! say it before the free agent window opens. Cris Carter says Kawhi is only looking at long term deals. If that’s true, Toronto is out. I think it’s always been obvious that he doesn’t want to play in Toronto long term and they were trying to sell him on a 1+1 before he goes and gets his fuck you money in LA.

It would be cool if he signed in Toronto long term, and maybe him taking his time to think it over is a good sign, but I just don’t see it. He leave.

Well he flew back to San Diego today and the plane returned with just crew so he isn’t coming back any time soon. People on reddit were hoping it was picking up his family but it was dropping him off.

I think it’s all but confirmed he’s staying in LA. At this point I’ll be shocked if he signs with TO.

The AD trade has to be official by Sunday (I think?)

So we’re getting a decision by like Sunday morning at the latest.
