The following teams are impacted by Kawhi not having made a decision yet Lakers: - Can't make the AD trade official - Have roster spots to fill Pelicans: - Can't sign JJ Redick until the AD trade and Solomon Hill trades go through - Zion and the other guy they drafted can't play in Summer League Hawks: - DeAndre Hunter can't play in Summer League Wizards: - Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga, and Jemerrio Jones cannot play in Summer League It’s also effecting Danny Green and Marc Gasol. I’m pretty sure DG following Kawhi wherever he goes. Gasol is not staying in Toronto if Kawhi leaves either. If that happens, Toronto going to be battling for the 7-8 seeds. I still believe he stays with Toronto. He can become a God in Canada forever.

I can’t say who my sources are, but I ain’t fucking around. They still think Toronto, but today changed a lot. I hope your sources are more reliable than Cris Carter, Chris Broussard, & Jalen Rose. My source isn’t famous.

According to sources, Kawhi's going to LA. But in red, white, and blue.
Surprised he's going to the other team of LA.
Oh well. At least we got a title out of his single year. Still forever grateful for that.

Glad he did not go to the Lakers. Western Conference will be crazy next year. That PG13 trade came out of nowhere.

Fuck it. This is the best possible outcome.
He signs a 1+1 with Toronto and if they don’t win a title it’s just “WHY DID HE STAY?” and “WHAT HE DO?” all over again.
And he signs with the LA team that isn’t the Lakers. AND GEORGE GOES TOO.
I love it. Kawhi got us a title then said “fuck you” to the entire league. It’s amazing. Go Clippers.

Well, looks like Toronto's about to pay a hefty price for that championship.
Probably gonna drop four, five, maybe even six spots down the ladder next year.

I honestly don't know why people thought he was going to the Lakers. Kawhi may be quiet and laid back, but he has made it perfectly clear he's not anyone's side kick. Only way he was going to LA is if Lebron turned the Lakers over to him, and I HIGHLY doubt Lebron was willing to do that.

Jerry West is the GOAT. I don`t know how they did all this in secret. Talking heads getting dragged on social media is glorious.

Demarcus Cousins to the Lakers.
The Pelicans reunite and the Lakers get even bigger. They also re-signed McGee.

The Clippers got Kawhi and PG and all they had to give up was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? I think he has some promise but that's what I call a robbery.

Yeah. I do think and from reading the reports that it’s clear he wants to team up with a superstar and trying to recruit to team up with which I believe the reports of recruiting Kevin Durant there is truth to it and now recent reports he try to recruit Kyrie Irving before he recruit PG13.

They paid a massive price. Unless the Thunder pick in the top 10 every year it's really not. Most teams aren't like San Antonio who either maximizes their picks by eventually turning them into stars like Tony & Manu or at least solid rotation players. Or unless OKC turns into Boston of the west. A deep solid and talented core of young players but they would need a Nurse or Stevens type of coach. Doc Rivers isn't getting younger there's no way of knowing if he'll be around by then to hope that the Clippers may get lucky and draft a top 10-20 player that may turn out to be someone like Chris Paul. A very good player that can only be good enough to lead a team to the 2nd round and Doc's already him. LA gets 2 of the top 15-20 players in the NBA proven commodities and you focused on unknown unproven ones? ask the Knicks how hoping for #1 picks have worked since 2001. This isn't the NFL or NHL where you can draft players from anywhere and they can pan out you need stars. The Clippers have made hope a reality not wasting their fans time talking about 3-5 seasons from now talking about a unicorn of a player that they have no assurance of getting.

Okay so just every person who watches or analyzes the NBA said it’s the most anyone has ever paid for a player - but sure.

Okay so just every person who watches or analyzes the NBA said it’s the most anyone has ever paid for a player - but sure. If the Clippers don’t win the title in the next two years, it’s very likely they paid all that for nothing. Kawhi might stay and sign a super max veteran deal, but I think George walks and the team falls apart around him. And that’s if he even stays. Watch LeBron retire and Kawhi sign with the Lakers and win in his first year there.

Okay so just every person who watches or analyzes the NBA said it’s the most anyone has ever paid for a player - but sure. I presented facts and evidence that supports my opinion. You don't really have an opinion or any kind of reasoning to support the notion that draft picks really matter to the extent you made it sound. So all you can say is people say this is the most any team ever paid for a player which is a fact but the fact doesn't translate to much most of the time. As my previous post states.

Don’t translate to what most of the time? There is no most of the time as this many unprotected picks over that period of time is unprecedented. There is no most of the time , there isn’t a single time.

Don’t translate to what most of the time? There is no most of the time as this many unprotected picks over that period of time is unprecedented. There is no most of the time , there isn’t a single time. Translate to winning at a high level. Those picks mean nothing to the Clippers now because their window is now not 3-5 years from now. Heck, they can turn out to be the Raptors. 1 playoff disappointment after another then finally win it. Clippers fans would still go ape shit crazy because of the history. If draft picks were pre-determined than I can see your point. The closest thing to this in terms of trades is the Celtics/Nets trade from yeara ago. Boston was pretty good for 3 years but never got close to a final appearance and as much of a laughing stock as the Nets were look at them now. Draft picks meant more in the 1980s not now. Zion can play for at least 7 years for New Orleans be a good player, not a star and then leave we don't know yet but we do know Kawhi is a superstar. I'll take the proven difference markers over the unknown any day in the NBA. That's why I called the trade a robbery.

Boston made two straight ECF and one game 7 two years ago in the ECF? Not close to the finals?
