If I'm being honest I saw this coming a mile away. I said to myself I bet they announce KD is playing on the day of the game to try and throw the Raptors off their game plan.

I think he won't see a ton of minutes and if anything this just gives the Raptors one more good shooter they have to guard, which could buy the Warriors a win. Obviously they're fucked being down 3-1 in Toronto but if they pull out a win tonight it's back to Cali where they'd be super confident they can force game 7.

Smart move to put him in even if he barely plays or doesn't rack up a lot of points. He could easily score 40, who the fuck knows? But I'm not really that anxious about it, tbh.

I think this is gonna be the most important game, or games, in the history of Canadian basketball.

Since I already lost $100 on GS, I decided to go double or nothing yesterday. Bet $100 on them for $525. Also threw in $40 on Indy to win the Super Bowl at +1400 for a $600 win.

Gambling is far from investing and designed for you to lose in the long run , even the professionals have terrible runs. It’s a fun leisurely activity that can put some extra change in your pocket or allow to bet more next time (and lose).

I dream of the day I nail a 10 team parlay and hit it huge , but it’ll never happen. Instead I’ll tread water and cuss at my TV over a couple hundred bucks that won’t make or break me.

My main reason for gambling , even on random sports sometimes is it gives me a rooting interest.

Nothing is better than betting with your buddies and taking shit though , taking their bucks , talking shit for awhile until you lose it back.

Me and my one friend usually get 50 bucks on games all the time - we’ve had some huge back and forth swings. At one point I was down like 600 to him and now I’m up 150 overall.

I have cousins/buddies who want me to be their runner. It’s obnoxious and annoying. Especially when they start getting annoyed at me saying I want 10% of the winning.

I don’t look at it as gambling when you invest on a team to win in the long run. Betting everyday on random games I guess is gambling. I’m investing my money into a team I think is going to do really good this season and possibly win it all. The Super Bowl odds are amazing right now. Why not drop $100-$1000 on a team right now with odds as low as +700? And +700 is if you really think the Patriots are going to win it all again which I don’t.

It’s not investing when the odds are designed for you to lose more often than not. Yes you could get lucky and hit on a decent payout but it’s largely a crapshoot.
