Also had some solid pressures throughout the game, just the secondary has been so shit, even when they break right in, there's already people open. Weren't giving much on the run either. And I only said decent.

Speaking of the Giants awful defense, I forgot to mention the 3rd part of it...HORRIFIC coaching. They left a rookie Dre Baker repeatedly 1v1 with Amari Cooper. Janoris should have been getting that match up.

Janoris should have been getting that match up. Seems pretty certain the whole coaching staff is gone at the end of the season - but I wouldn't be surprised to see Bettcher canned before then. The talent level isn't great but I haven't really seen anything from him that convinces me that he's an asset. We don't have any pass rushers so he needs to find away to create pressure, but every blitz attempt I saw was handled pretty easily by the Cowboys today. Antoine Bethea was brought in because he has experience in this defence but he was terrible. Can't rely on the rookies like Baker and Lawrence to be good straight away.

They're really going to need someone to step up and become a reliable #2. Teams are going to take Juju away (the Pats didn't even double cover him tonight as I imagine most opponents will) and force someone else to beat them. Moncrief was terrible but Washington wasn't without his faults either.
The Pats have owned them at home for years so I'm sure there will be better weeks ahead, but the coaching staff is going to have to come up with better game plans than they had tonight. It was clear right from the start that they were completely outmatched.

How awesome was it to see Bill Belicheck call a timeout with 6 seconds left JUST TO CHANGE THE DEFENSE? Lmao. He wanted them in prevent so Pitt didn’t score on the final play.
Then they show Tomlin on the sideline asking someone who called the timeout and we got the answer, he angrily nods his head.
Anybody think AB told Bill how much Tomlin truly hates him? Lol.
