As much as I love sports I just don't like the idea of playing in front of no fans. It is hard to watch wrestling without fans. That lack of atmosphere really ruins it for me.
I don't think sports should return until fans will be allowed. So that means until a vaccine is developed. If a half a season or entire season is cancelled so be it. We dealt with it during the lockouts and have dealt with it thus far this year.
I also feel that the majority of commentary, interviews, post game questions, etc will be about the virus when sports is supposed to be a distraction. (If there are games in front of no fans).
Furthermore, watching these games alone will get old quick.

Anyone else following this Brendan Leipsic stuff? The Caps just threw him on waivers to terminate his contract.
For those out of the loop, some Instagram DMs got leaked that involved Leipsic, some other guy I can’t remember (who’s only played 10 games) and a minor league guy. They were making fun of players’ wives, calling them fat pigs, talking about degrading women so they could fuck them, etc.
Typical gross locker room talk. I’m betting a huge majority of players have spent the last couple days scrubbing their DMs :lol:
Bunch of degenerates.
EDIT: oh and Brendan Leipsic’s brother and another player got kicked off their minor league team yesterday because of this.

So there was a rumour that the league was going to return with a 24 team playoffs beginning sometime in the summer. Those rumours appear to be gaining steam to the point that Elliott Friedman is reporting on it now. Details on testing and housing and whatnot are not yet being discussed but they’re at the point where they’re treating it like a reality instead of an idea. The top 24 teams ranked by points percentage would be in. Dude I just saw the format on ESPN and I think it’s fucking awesome! People are actually complaining about this shit? Are they stupid?! We haven’t had sports in months and you’re about to be given a once in a lifetime 24 team NHL Playoffs and you’re complaining?! Wtf?! I think this is so fucking dope. Props to the NHL. Yo Blindy, the Rangers are in the playoffs boy! Also, the winner of the Stanley Cup isn’t going to be the best team in hockey. It’s going to end up being the hottest team that month. This is some March Madness shit that will be going on in all sports right now. Not enough time to get back in the flow and continue where you left off. It’s going to be a random team winning the chip that wouldn’t have made the playoffs. This is the Rangers or Islanders Cup to win. Or maybe.... .... Toronto does it?! RT I’ll root for them after the NY teams. Never thought I’d be this excited for hockey.

KING KID, close to what he said. I think we're going to see a team, who's not so great, but got healthy during this time off, combined with a hot goalie go all the way. Can't see why it couldn't be the Jets!

I love how one of the two teams who rejected this proposal are the Carolina Hurricanes who'd play the Rangers in this new format. They got swept in the season series and it wasn't even close! It's wacky, it's sports, it's whatever. I wanna see how bad the ice will be if all the teams are playing in one arena during the summer. So many bounces, fluke goals or plays will be made! Just happy we are getting something here. More Rangers hockey, cool with me! I really wanna see that zamboni driving replacement goalie(Dave Ayres) for Carolina again! I'd pay the man some good money to keep that ice fresh because the poor drivers are gonna need to be on their A+ game if it's one rink!

So the NHL ran its lotto show and the number one pick hasn't even been decided yet! Get this, one of the playoff teams who do not advance will be awarded with the pick. The worst record Red Wings pick 4th! Yeah.
Top prospect Alexis Lafreniere is like "what" and NHL network probably could not even speak with him on where he is going :lol:
