The rookie QBs have made some impact already. Danny Dimes came in like a wrecking ball and lit the Big Apple up becoming the Kristaps Porzingis of the NFL. Will he continue his dominance this week against the Redskins? Possibly. 

Speaking of the Redskins; the Haskins talk is getting louder. The organization doesn’t think he’s ready yet which means he’s not as good as people made him out to be draft night. Surely Case Keemun is not the answer. Why settle for purgatory and not make the move? A loss here could get Jay Gruden fired. 

Minshew the Mustache has given life to the Jacksonville fan base. Kyle Allen has quietly put up numbers making the post-Cam future a possibility. Mason Rudolph isn’t a rookie but he may or may not be the future. Then of course there’s Kyler Murray who is living up to draft hype on a bad team. That’s just the QB portion. 

The RBs have been solid. Josh Jacobs, Devin Singletary, Miles Sanders and David Montgomery all look like good NFL RBs right now. 

Then theres the WRs who have really shined. Scary Terry in Washington. The Brown WRs have been good. Deebo Samuel has been solid. Mecole Hardman has been blessed with Mahomes and amazing speed. 

With the injuries to Ben, Foles and Brees and the benching of Eli; the future is looking bright in the NFL. 

A LOT has changed but one thing remains the same. Tom Brady and the Patriots still look dominant. The NE Defense has not given up a TD since the AFC Championship game. That is insane. 

We start the week off tomorrow with the Packers and Eagles and with that, I’ll let UT take it away.

Patriots come to Buffalo this week. Boy oh boy.

NE’s defence is unreal but they haven’t really been tested. I’m not going to act like Buffalo’s offence is great because it isn’t. They’re pretty good if they keep up their momentum, but against Cincy on Sunday they very nearly shit themselves. Cincy was in deep penalty trouble and playing like shit, yet Buffalo only put up 14 points when they should have absolutely buried them. Then one single INT in the 3rd nearly handed the game away and it was a fight to the finish.

Against NE that is a disaster and Buffalo gets pumped. If Allen has a good game, Gore continues to be a force, and Zay and Knox play like they did on Sunday, we could see a close game.

Then all they have to do is defend well against Brady, which they’ve done before, and hopefully can do again. It’s going to be an interesting game for sure. I don’t expect Buffalo to win, but I’m optimistic for the first time in a long time against NE, which I’ll take.

I don’t know what kind of success Buffalo is going to have against NE.

The D hasn’t allowed a single offense to score. This team is putting out their best defense in ages right now and it’s been lock down. Buffalo May score a TD, but it’ll take a special play. A bomb to Brown or something. I don’t see them having much luck moving the ball though. I’m giving the Patriots the 27-10 win here.

Melvin Gordon to report back to the Chargers tomorrow but will NOT play against the Dolphins.

Fucking great news for me as I got him in the 4th round in 3 of my 4 money leagues. I am fired up. Obviously good news for the Chargers as well who should be 2-2 with 12 games to go and Melvin Gordon back for the long stretch. Him coming back earlier then expected makes me respect him more. Obviously he cares about his teammates and franchise. Sure, he probably cares about the money too but still.

Gordon always had no leverage and he's been made to look even more expendable by Ekeler and Jackson playing as well as they have. I'd be very confident predicting he will be playing for another team next season.

Ekeler and JJ can use this week's cupcake against the Dolphins (averaging 200 rushing yards allowed per game) to make themselves look even better.

Seeing the Bills and Pats, I dont see how Buffalo wins. The Jets with three quarters of CJ Moseley, a QB who had undisclosed mono and a kicker who single handedly cost the team the game were one point losers to this Buffalo squad who had Singletary. Josh Allen plays way too careless with the ball,and I think Belichick will find a way to go after the oline and frustrate Allen.

Would I like to see BUF win? Sure but seeing two of their three games and seeing two of the Pats games, I dont see it I'm sorry RT. Wasn't impressed by the Bills offense. They got dominated by CJ Moseley who if he stood four quarters would defeat them by himself.

The Jets have a BYE week thankfully so I can watch good football all around. They have to be right there with Miami as to being the worst team in the league.

The 49ers got a bye week this week the good news is there a strong chance that both Coleman and Hurd might be available for week 5 against the Browns but the bad news is Witherspoon is out for a month which is a huge blow for the Niners which he was playing so well for this early season and of course Joe Stanley is out as well. 49ers going to have a tough schedule coming out the next few weeks too.

The Packers will suffer their first loss of the season tonight.

And that is my prediction. The Packers have looked great so far and the Eagles haven’t. The Eagles could fall to 1-3 with a loss tonight and if the Giants win against Washington; they could be ahead of the Eagles in the standings! Wouldn’t that be insane?

But I don’t see it happening. I predict Carson Wentz to have a marvel of a performance tonight. It will come down to the wire where Wentz leads his team down field for a GW TD pass to Zachary Ertz. It will be a great game with an exciting finish. Give me the Eagles 28-27.

I am excited for the game tonight. Matchup and my logic tells me that the Packers SHOULD win this game and maybe even walking away in the fourth quarter. Our offense has shown flashes but hasn't been consistent through four quarters all season but the Eagles pass defense is just bad and they are still missing their top corner which should open everything up for Adams and MVS - perhaps even Geronimo. This for all intents and purposes should be Rodgers and the entire passing offense breakout game - especially being at home in primetime with a fired up crowd.

Defensively the Packers have been up and down stopping the run and it's our biggest weakness but Philly can't run the ball - so we'll see if they can take advantage of it or not. They will probably gash us a few times with Sproles as apparently we struggle with the shiftier smaller backs. Our pass defense is legit though and with Alshon banged up and Jackson out it really helps. I'll be interested to see how we play Ertz - whether it's Savage or not. I hope to got it ain't Redmond - he's not been good since Greene went down. Fant had some plays last week and found space though so it could be exploitable if Wentz get's protection. And that brings me to Z. Smith - who is questionable. If he sits than I am way more worried about what happens on defense - he's been the captain of the defense and brings the energy every play. Still though being at home against what's been a subpar offensive line and Wentz should be forced to move quite a bit in the pocket but I do worry about his ability to make scramble plays.

So yeah logically given what the teams have shown so far and with the Packers being at home it should be Packers 31 Eagles 20 - but given the fact as you said the Eagles are up against it at 1-2 and they would have an impossible hole to climb out of if they lose I could see them coming out and just laying it all on the line and upsetting the Packers. I do think that it would have to come down to the last play/drive for that to happen though.

So yeah , I'm curious to see what happens. Football logic , or NFL silliness and craziness. Either way I'm looking forward to it and hopefully don't have my first rant of the season after the game.
