I called that game a little too early! Really impressed by the Cardinals effort in the second half, definitely liked my first look at Murray. I know he's been asked to throw more in other games but he gave some real Russell Wilson super efficient passing vibes tonight. I mentioned Budda Baker earlier but he was absolutely brilliant, 13 total tackles including two for loss, plus another three passes defended. If post-PED Patrick Peterson had played 20% as well as he did then Arizona probably would have won.

Jimmy G was absolutely brilliant though, and had Erin Andrews frothing after the game. Third down conversion after conversion.

So I got a confession to make ever since season start every time niners play I wear my niners jersey and they won usually I am not superstitious but fuck it I continue the trend so far so good. 😂

Garoppolo is clutch, keeps it simple and makes good decisions. Obviously the d-line is scary and they're pretty solid everywhere, no real weaknesses. I really enjoy the 49ers. Cardinals are a lot of fun too, this was one of the better TNF games of the season.

Josh Gordon has been picked up by the Seahawks. Major pick up in my opinion no matter what you think about the skills remaining in Flash. The more weapons you give Russ, the more dangerous he becomes.

Also, UT, Zadarius Smith was pulled over with marijuana in his possession. Could be facing a suspension by the NFL. That sucks.

Other major news; TY Hilton picked up an injury at practice and he’s officially out for this week. Apparently he could miss 3-4 weeks. That sucks ass. Time to see if Pascal and Parris can step it up. My thought is that Marlon Mack is about to take over that offense. They’re going to need their D to step it up though and keep games manageable.

TY is out until the crucial Houston game. He'll come back in for that game and go for 120 receiving and 2 TDs. He fucking kills us. Jonathan Joseph, due to withdraw his pension shortly, gets his ass handed to him every time.

Come on Pittsburgh. Brissett must be due a bad game and they have the D line to spook him.

It sucks but at least he took responsibility for it and it shouldn't be a huge deal legally. I don't even think he has a court date. Dumb move by him and the young guys but it's not entirely shocking. 

Word. Last thing they need is distractions like that though. This season could be magical for them.

Speaking of their season; I read an article that stated the Packers should sit Adams out this week no matter what (they better not!!) and save him for SF.

I think it’s dumb to do it as others stated that commented on the article because if you’re focused on that SF game, you want Adams to get at least 20-25 reps with Rodgers now to get back into the game day groove. Last thing you want is to get thrown to the wolves in San Francisco’s D and that be your return to football action.

I know this is kind of like the Brees argument we had last week, but what do you guys think? Still lean on “if he’s good, let him play” or do we change our stance because it’s a toe injury with an elite WR?

It all comes down to health. If his toe is any less than 100% and there’s an elevated chance for reinjury and missing another month than he should sit. If he’s good to go than he should play. You don’t sit players who aren’t injured anymore to save them.

From a fantasy perspective I do worry about Adams being used as a decoy just to pull coverage from the other guys. I could see that being a thing this weekend.

I have a feeling that the Packers might do to fantasy owners what Arizona did to owners of David Johnson. Put him in one drive and that’s it.

Which would be totally okay if he at least hits pay dirt on the drive!

That is not going to happen. That would be stupid when it takes away an active spot of someone who can contribute elsewhere.
