TRICK OR TREAT, MOTHERFUCKERS!
We have reached Week 9 of the NFL Regular Season and it has been a heck of a season so far. We made it past the trade deadline and it was blah! So now that we're at the half way point, let's get to some predictions by yours truly.
DEAD 'BIRDS' ON HALLOWEEN; NINERS REMAIN UNDEFEATED - And we kick things off with this NFC West showdown. A game that could've been a lot more exciting had the Cardinals had David Johnson (or Chase Edmonds, thx btw!) for this game. Instead, rookie Kyler Murray will have to go against the best D in the NFC with newly acquired Kenyan Drake as his RB. The same RB that couldn't stay on the field in Miami due to poor blocking. This one has all the markings of an ugly beat down for Arizona. It would be miraculous and awesome if Murray was able to lead this team to a victory here and giving SF their first L of the season, but we all know that's not happening. Cool story; both Bosa Brothers won 'Defensive Players of the Week' last week and SF Bosa has a legitimate chance at winning DPOTY if he continues his rampage. The Niners are going to blow Arizona out in this one in what will be another primetime let down. So enjoy your chocolates! SF def. Arizona 41-10
GOOD MORNING FROM WEMBLEY; MJ WATSON BEATS NO SHAVE NOVEMBER - The JJ Watt injury is absolutely heartbreaking. It's such a shitty situation that man has gone through with injuries. We went over that enough and mourned enough about it after last weeks games, so let's move forward. It's a huge division game with a lot on the line for both teams. After having their 3 game winning streak in London snapped last season by Philly, Jacksonville looks to get a W back in Wembley. With a very beatable defense in Houston, Minshew and Fournette will do their damndest to to make it happen. However, I do believe that Watson is having a magical year and I feel that continues internationally. It's going to be a tight game and to be honest, a JAX win wouldn't surprise me either. However, I'm going to go with the team I feel is a legitimate playoff team and I'm going to predict Watson makes more plays then Minshew can to win this tight game. Watson hits Nuk for the GW TD with 23 seconds left, because MJ. Houston def. Jacksonville 28-27
DARNOLD SHAKES OFF THE GHOSTS; GASE KEEPS MIAMI WINLESS - This has the ultimate writing of a Jets loss. A season in shambles. Leveon Bell was on the trade block and has underwhelmed. Sam Darnold is struggling mightily. Jamal Adams feels betrayed by having his name in the trade rumor mill. This is the ultimate game where Gase loses to his old team and loses the Jets completely. It literally has all the makings of it right there in my face! So why don't I predict it? Because I truly believe Miami doesn't want to win a single game. I truly believe that they are tanking. I'm going to cautiously predict that Sam Darnold has a field day against Miami and throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs and ZERO INTERCEPTIONS~! in this one. 1 to Bell, 1 to Robbie and 1 to Demarius. Fitzmagic does his best to keep this game close, but in the end, the Miami Dolphins find a way to lose. I don't know how I feel about it, but fuck it. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS....? NYJ def. Miami 27-23
GORE VS AP; BUFFALO DISMANTLES THE SKINS - A perfect get right game for Buffalo after a humbling loss to Philly last week. I don't even know who the QB is going to be for the Skins and honestly it's not going to matter. The Buffalo Bills D is going to come out there and eat whoever they send out there. RT will leave this game with a good feeling and the Bills will be a comfortable 6-2 at the halfway mark. Josh Allen has a big game, throwing for 2 TDs and running 1 in. Gore and AP each run for 70, but it's Frank who gores his way into the end zone once. Buffalo has a defensive TD in here as well and Washington gets shut out. Buffalo def. Washington 38-0
PITT GETS IN EARLY HOLE AGAIN; INDY BURIES THEM - With injuries to Conner and Snell, it's looking like Samuels may be the RB this week and he's coming off of an injury himself. Mason Rudolph had an ugly start against a winless Miami team, but was able to dig himself out. This time, he faces a solid defense in Indy and can't get himself out. Indy is not that great against the run, but the Steelers aren't going to be able to find a way. Pitt's D tries to keep it close, but in the end, Indy makes more plays and walks away with a comfortable victory. Indy def. Pittsburgh 27-10
YOU LIKE THAT?! YOU WANT MOORE?! KC LOSES AGAIN - Ah how they miss Mahomes. After being in a competitive game against Green Bay last Sunday Night, the Chiefs go into another game not feeling as bad without Mahomes. However, this one will not be as close. Minnesota is red hot right now and I don't think that a team led by Moore is going to stop them. Minnesota's D will make life a lot harder for the Chiefs in this one and they wont be able to make those big plays to stay in this game. Minny shuts down the running game and don't allow Moore to beat them. Minny continues their winning streak. Minnesota def. KC 38-17
I CAN'T 'BEAR' TO LOOK; PHILLY BEATS CHICAGO IN TIGHT ONE - If there's one thing we learned last week, it was that Chicago 'out-Chargered' the Chargers. Of course they lost with a missed FG. Because these are DA BEARS~! It's crazy how much can change in one season. After being legitimate Super Bowl threats last season, one double doink changed everything. Trubisky has regressed badly. He seems finished if you ask me. I'll bring it up forever, but Mahomes/Watson guys. Mahomes/Watson. The Bears D still has pride and heart and will keep this one close and shout out to Philly doing the Bills tough D dirty last week. This one will be low scoring. Jordan Howard will find a way to break free for a 55 yard TD run in the 4th quarter against his former team and that will be the difference maker. Expect some curious decisions for Chicago going for it on 4th down instead of going for a FG in this one. The drama is real. Matt Nagy is falling apart. Philly wins a low scoring game, because Trubisky can't take advantage of a terrible secondary. Philly def. Chicago 20-10
TANNEHILL REMAINS PERFECT; PANTHERS BEGIN SKID - As amazing as CMC is, this is how last season fell apart for this team. They got blown out and never won another game. Do I think Carolina will go winless again? No, but I think that shallacking they got from SF last week has them all shook up. Let the 'BRING BACK CAM' drama start. Ryan Tannehill has taken Mariottas job from him and he is not giving it back. The offense finally has life, although Corey Davis remains as inconsistent and irrelevant as ever. Jonnu Smith is a stud TE in the making. The Titans D do enough to throw Kyle Allen off of the game and even though CMC totals 150 yards and a TD, the Panthers can't pick up the victory. Tennessee def. Carolina 28-23
KID'S FANTASY NIGHTMARES; RODGERS WINS ON DAVANTE RETURN - I fucking hope he returns! Talk about my fantasy nightmares. Davante Adams and Melvin Gordon have given me more stress then a liberal protest this season. I'm hoping both show up for this one. The Chargers had no business winning last week and even with the firing of their OC, they still have no business winning this one. Aaron Rodgers gets his favorite WR back for this one and hits Adams with a 'welcome back' TD pass. Even though Adams only ends the game with 5 receptions for 68 yards, he has that TD to put a smile on my face. Melvin Gordon may not see the field as much as Austin Ekeler in this one, especially if the new OC (Or Anthony Lynn) want to stick with the hot hand. It wont matter. Aaron Rodgers will throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs in this one and the Chargers will not be able to keep up. The seat has gotten very hot for Anthony Lynn. GB def. LAC 34-21
CHUCKY'S WEEKEND; RAIDAHZ BEAT LIONS IN SHOOT OUT - In what should be a fun game for fantasy owners of these two teams, I expect a shoot out in this one. I expect it so much that I have a 3-way stack with Carr/Jacobs/Waller this week for me. Carr finally hits 300 yards and throws 3 TDs. Jacobs has 1 rushing TD and 1 receiving TD. Waller also goes his 3rd straight game with a TD catch. Unfortunately, the perfect TD season comes to an end for Tyrell Williams in this one. Stafford will have another monster game as he will once again abandon the weak running game. Unable to land Devonte Freeman before the trade deadline, they send out there 'whos who' carousel. Kenny Golloday will follow his 2 TD performance with another 2 TD performance. But this game will end with Stafford trying to lead his team down field for a GW TD. In FG range to tie the game, Stafford makes an inexcusable pass into double coverage trying to get Kenny Golloday a hat trick, but he is picked off in the end zone. I know I've said the Lions are better then their record says they are AND THEY ARE, but this one comes down to a dumb play by Stafford which we have grown accustomed to. Enjoy the points. I know I will! RAIDAHZ def. DET 41-38
UPSET OF THE WEEK; WINSTON OUTDUELS WILSON - I know! Insane, right? In Seattle, too! So crazy. Listen, I wouldn't bet money on it, but I have this feeling. Tampa Bay tends to win games they shouldn't win and this one feels like the type. If it's low scoring, then of course Russell Wilson finds a way to win this game. Except I think that TB gets off to a hot start and go up double digits at halftime and Seattle is unable to come back; although they'll get close. I have a hunch so I'm going with it. Tampa Bay pulls the upset of the weekend and beat the Seahawks in Seattle. SPOOKTACULAR~! TB def. SEA 27-23
WHAT COACH IS WORSE? BROWNS DISMANTLE DENVER - Listen, I am super disappointed in Cleveland and bought into the hype. UT is 100% correct when he says that Kitchens is the worst coach in the NFL. The fact of the matter is that both of these coaches are probably 1 and done coaches for their organization. The loser of this game may not make it another week! Denver was only able to unload Emmanuel Sanders and couldn't find the right compensation for Chris Harris in this one. Shit, this D is still super fucking good, but a super disappointing offense has been their down fall. With Joe Flacco most likely done for the season, they turn to Brandon Allen (their 6th starting QB since 2017). Miles Garrett and the Browns D are going to feast in this one. OBJ, Chubb and Landry are all getting into the end zone in this one and Denver is going to leave this game feeling more and more deflating. Cleveland comes out of this game looking great and maybe the hype begins again. We'll see. Cleveland def. Denver 30-10
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL CHEAT CODE VS CHEAT CODE; LAMAR FALLS JUST SHORT - And what I mean by just short is this game will come to a final play. With less then 30 seconds left inside of the 10 yard line, the Ravens will be put into a 4th and goal situation. Needing a TD to win, the Ravens give it to their cheat code. Lamar takes it from shotgun and tries to make a run for the end zone and he looks like Vince Young against USC out there until the lead candidate for DPOTY, Gilmore will come out of nowhere and make the tackle at the 1 1/2 yard line. The Baltimore fans will fall to their knees knowing they almost did it. They almost beat the Patriots. They will come that close. Lamar Jackson 'THE CHEAT CODE' will nearly beat the undefeated on primetime, but will be stopped by the NE D 'CHEAT CODE' at the 1 1/2 yard line. Afraid to take a knee, TB12 does a QB sneak to end the game and New England remains undefeated.... barely. This game will be fucking awesome, though. GOTW! FINALLY! A PRIMETIME PARTY! NE def. Baltimore 21-16
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ZEKE VS BARKLEY; DAK DROPS DIMES - And we end the week with everyones favorite main event. An NFC East showdown! I don't know why people hate it so much, but I guess it's what I'm used to. My whole life has been NFC East showdowns and New England Patriots spanking people. This one will be a fun first half where the Giants seem to be hanging on, down only a FG at the half. However, the 2nd half will happen and when it does, The Zeke Freak Show begins. The Cowboys will go on a 21-0 run in the 2nd half and will give up a garbage time TD from Danny to Engram with a minute to go. The final score will make it look closer then it was. The 2nd half will be all Dallas. Dallas maintains their NFC East lead and people start whispering; "so yeah, what about that guy Eli?" Dallas def. NYG 38-17
Anyways, I'm pumped up for another weekend of football! Let's talk about it!

That's probably a pretty fair score for the Packers/Chargers game. Davante is supposed to be back but I hope it's not a David Johnson situation from a few weeks back or even more and he plays like 50% of the snaps.
I don't see the Bills and their shitty offense putting up 38 on anyone much less the Redskins who actually have a decent little defense. I think that game is closer than any Bills fan would like and there is even a chance for an upset. I'd say Bills win 17-9 though. Something like that.
I also think this is the best pair of primetime matchups we've had to this point.

If Haskins starts, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 38-0 with defensive turnovers giving Buffalo great field position all game.
And there’s an extreme chance that Adams isn’t on the field that much, but I can definitely see Rodgers gifting him a TD on a slant inside the 10 yard line. A welcome back gift. Aaron Rodgers is going to continue making a case for MVP in this game.

I like your posts when you say Buffalo will win. I think you've predicted every game right so far (as far as wins/losses go).
Washington is a good bounce back game after shitting the bed against Philly. I don't see a total blowout happening but I could definitely see Buffalo using this as a statement game to get their confidence back. Winning by 2 or 3 TDs isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially if Allen has a good game.

Going back from the previous thread, @the Kid, I knew Nugent would be finished but the signing of ex Jet Nick Folk confirms to me that Belichick is arrogant enough to want to reward 2 former Jets a ring if he is successful in February in winning the super bowl. Hate seeing Folk sign with the enemy.
Seeing that trafficking criminal Robert Kraft tell Belichick on Win No.300 that it was so sweet 299 came from the New York Jets and 300 came from the Cleveland Browns confirms that Belichick continues to have this strange resentment of the Jets franchise. Maybe due to Spygate.

Yeah, I don't blame him. Spygate was there to ruin his legacy. In a way, it made him work harder to get better and to become the GOAT. ALSO; UT; whats the most you ever won on a parlay bet? I'm going to the casino for the Week 10 games with my fantasy football boys and we trying to get there early enough to put some money down and try and win big money. I've been killing it in pickem so I have this amazing vibe.

It’s easier to parlay the money lines as they are pretty much pick ems. Just make sure to pick an upset or two to make the odds worth it.

Jamal Adams is such a clown, lost so much respect for him in the past 24 hours. I would stay far away from these LSU players as OBJr, Landry and Adams have singlehandedly been way too much as far as diva-ness goes. He compared himself to Aaron Donald and Tom Brady ROFL as to being above being tossed around in trade talks. Holy shit. Joe Douglas didn't even bother dealing you unless it was for a 1st and TWO second round picks AKA which is essentially saying no way jose. Your a damn safety man. He's a very good player though he plays way too out of control at times and refs right or wrong are marking him for anything excessive.

The Jets were stupid for even fielding offers for him. He’s legitimately the only player on the roster with All Pro potential and the one capable of anchoring a secondary or defense. He didn’t have an issue until the shit ass organization in New York took calls and allowed it to become public.
This whole idea that’s game changing players should or could all be traded for the right price is stupid. Sooner or later you need to keep your young building blocks. I don’t care either that he’s not Tom Brady or Aaron Donald , he should look at himself in that vein though , it’s what gets any elite athlete this far.
Regardless though the Jets are a shit franchise with a shit approach to football. There’s a reason why they are amongst the handful of teams that are the butt of all jokes in the NFL. Trading away building blocks for more draft picks to whiff on is only going to continue that narrative.

I think the Ravens lose against the Patriots by doing dumb shit. Going for 2 for no reason and shit like that. The Ravens are feeling good about this match up and Nick Boyle of all people is saying the Patriots never faced anything like them. I'm super pumped for that showdown.

He didn’t have an issue until the shit ass organization in New York took calls and allowed it to become public. I can see both sides, but Blindy's definitely got a fair point here. If I'm a fan I want my GM doing his due diligence and listen to offers regardless of who it is - Adams is a good player but he's not "no we won't consider trading him under any circumstances" good. Jamal also seems to want it both ways, he said he wanted to be traded to Dallas and now he's upset because the Jets were talking to them? Come on. With that said, is Jamal Adams more valuable than Adam Gase and Gregg Williams? Of course.

Trading away building blocks for more draft picks to whiff on is only going to continue that narrative. If someone is going to give them a boatload of picks, no they aren't dumb at all its called due diligence. Teams called Houston up about DeAndre Hopkins that doesn't mean he's going to be shipped. Tunsil got traded a year before his deal was up despite wanting to stay in Miami because THE Dolphins got a deal too good and were not going to give him Trent Brown money plus. CJ Moseley has all pro talent IMO but we will agree to disagree. Leveon Bell too. Need to see it to believe it with Darnold and Quinnen. They never said open in the public that they aren't going to do this deal, beat writers and people who feed Adams whatever including his agent who has other agendas besides their own player threw it out there. Adams is using this to soften his eventually leave unless the Jets completely break the bank. Every game he holds back anger of loss after loss and has spoken with ex Jet DEMARIO Davis about the Saints situation given he played collegiate in the state of Louisiana. The Giants let Landon Collins fuck right off to a division Rival and will get a comp pick and got rid of a headache of someone who makes threats on and off the field and thinks he is good shit and his Ed Reed wannabe ass is on one of the few teams worse than the Giants including witnessing an ass whooping at Giants stadium a few weeks ago that had him tuck his head down and run off the field and right to the locker. Now Adams is more versatile than Collins BUT the contract is going to start with what Collins got and going to go up and do you tie your cap in a safety that is alright at coverage but is more vital in his versatility?

As you've kinda brought it up - let's get rid of compensation picks already and make more trades happen. A guy like Robbie Anderson would have got moved if there was less incentive for his team to hold on to a guy they don't really want/need because they'll likely get a similar return in free agency.

Nice start for Kenyan Drake as a Cardinal. Longest run of the season on his first touch, and then he punches the ball in for a TD which is something Arizona has had some problems doing.

I don't think the Sanders trade got quite as much attention for just how important we'll look back on it at the end of the season.
Feel like this one is basically over already now - Arizona can't protect Murray.

I think it’s super underrated for sure.

Cool man. Solo party.
Huge 3rd down coming up. If Arizona stops then, then we get to see if Kyler Murray is the man or not.
If they get it, then well, end of football until Sunday.
But I think they get it because that’s what happens on Primetime games. We don’t get cool final drives for wins. Awesome debut for Drake in Arizona though. I honestly would not be surprised if Arizona shuts down David Johnson for the season.

Last QB to do that? Ben Roethlisberger. This Niners team might win the Super Bowl.
