I'm letting a random number generator dictate who I pick for each category btw, no real plan for me.

I always draft to amuse myself first and foremost. Somehow this strategy has worked out well for me over the years. I usually go pretty deep in these things. But this time I feel like my heart is leading me to a first round exit. Oh well. If I do get bounced early at least I will go out on my own terms.

I was convinced RT was going to draft the wrestler I had in mind as my lead heel. So I came up with a contingency plan last night. Then RT did not draft the wrestler I was sure he was drafting. But I kind of fell in love with that backup plan. So now I don't know what to do with my next pick. Will probably flip a coin unless one of you makes my job easier.

I completely underestimated how many big names were in notable stables over their careers. I wanted the first three rounds to be pretty easy, so it’s ok, but I didn’t really think about it until my pick came up and I was like “damn...I can pick almost anyone.”

Well there goes the 3 I was stuck between 1-2-3.

I was stuck between Rock, Styles, Eddie in that order and the first two picks after me were Eddie (Emperor ) and Styles (PB). I guess it's nice to have went first of the 3.

I almost took AJ but decided to stick to what little plan I had. Also thought of another wrestler yet to be picked but again...plan.

I don’t know why I always say I’m not going to make a plan then totally make a plan once the draft starts. I do this every time. And this draft is even geared towards fucking up anyone with a plan.

Bray Wyatt crossed my mind but I a) wasn’t planning on doing The Wyatt Family and b) was going to nab him if he somehow made it down to me in the Masked Wrestler round.

For the indie darling category, how are we defining "made it"? Had a run on television programming, had at least one televised match, had at least a dark match or tryout, was at least signed temporarily to a developmental deal? Etc.

And to circle back to major company definition...

So ROH is out as a "major". Saw ECW, AWA, and Lucha Underground were omitted as well?

I’m using Handsome Cody Rhodes as my baseline, where he wore the face protector for a little while after breaking his nose. In my opinion that counts as wrestling with a “mask”, so your Undertaker pick should count too.

It specifies wrestling with a mask on and eliminates entrances, trickery and “one-offs,” which to me is like Mr America or CM Punk wearing a Luchador mask like once or twice.

Is there a rule about having to use your tag team as a team, as opposed to splitting them for singles matches?

I don't think you have to use them as a tag team. You make your card how you want. It was just to add some twists and turns to how people get drafted.

Mark Calloway also wore a mask as either The Punisher or Master of Pain, so he would've qualified IMO regardless of how you feel about the Phantom of the Opera mask.
