I can’t remember if we decided that or not. I think we decided that we had to have at least one established tag team to avoid people picking like Team Hell No as their tag team because they teamed up a handful of times.

I’ll leave it to the group to decide. I think we should keep the tag team together for the first round and now that I’m saying it out loud I think we did kind of decide on that.

I vote we keep tag teams together for the first round. Then do what you want with them.

Bray Wyatt crossed my mind but I a) wasn’t planning on doing The Wyatt Family and b) was going to nab him if he somehow made it down to me in the Masked Wrestler round.

As soon as I drafted Hogan my plan was to do Hogan vs. Wyatt and Road Warriors Demolition vs. Rowan & Harper in Round 1. Then have the 80s dream team of Hogan & LOD Demolition vs. Wyatt Family in Round 2.

Didn't even think of Bray as a masked wrestler. 

Masked Wrestler round was similar to the Tag Team round in that I wanted the obvious choice- Road Warriors in tags. Rey in masked. I had 2nd pick in tags and 3rd big in masks. So I was hoping the obvious choice would fall just 1 and 2 spots to me. Alas, it was not to be. Too bad. I had a killer first round match lined up for Rey. Not sure what I was gonna do with him after that though.

Once Rey fell through, I thought about taking a bunch of Rey's WCW contemporaries. But none of them really fit into my long term plans....

Then the two gentlemen in bold entered into my brain. Quickly dismissed Taker because I've already drafted him a bunch of times. Almost went with Cody (and I'll probably be kicking myself down the line for passing on him) before settling on La Parka simply because he brings a different element to my promotion, and I plan on taking a lot of guys stylistically similar to Cody.

And just so you know Emperor , the one in the 'all black' gear below is also The Undertaker. As you'll see, he doesn't like other masked wrestlers.

Just a thought. If you don’t want to get that crazy then that’s fine. Also it might fuck up some plans since the draft has already started.

I wouldn't be against it. We did something similar in my very first PW draft.

Also, I had no idea Finn Balor once wrestled as Pegasus Kid II.

Yeah shortly after he signed with NJPW they started doing brand exclusive stuff and he was assigned to something called Wrestle Land. He spent the summer of 2006 wrestling as Pegasus Kid II and that’s where he started teaming with Taguchi.

Wrestle Land was short lived and he went back to NJPW as Prince Devitt in late 2006, and the rest as they say is history.

I was going to pick an actual masked wrestler but there wasn’t anyone left that fit my loose plans after a certain someone took Penta. :suspic: So I went with my ace in the hole that allowed me to nab a big star.

I think Vader finished up in Japan working for Wrestle Land teaming with his son, he even brought back the old NJPW style mask and outfit. Never knew of Pegasus Kid II though.
