Oh yep that makes sense, thanks Kid. The rusher was coming from wide on the line so I guess he was unabated to the QB - probably just felt weird because Mahomes would have been able to slide away pretty easily.
Chargers tackling really let them down on that drive - lots of YAC on multiple plays.

All things considered, Darrel Williams has been the Chiefs best RB this year. Holds onto the ball unlike McCoy and can hit a hole decisively unlike Damien.

Crazy thing is everyone was calling for Darwin Thompson to come in and be the next Kareem Hunt completely skipping over Darrell Williams. I have said since preseason that Damien is a backup at best and his body can’t take the lead back role. I was proven right time and time again this season. They should hand the backfield to Darrell Williams after the BYE.

What a bullshit PI call. You’re calling that, call everything.
Cannot believe that Matthieu dropped that.

He was returning that for a TD before it was in his hands.

I expect at least one “oh the Chargers barely touched his jersey” makeup PI call on this drive.

Mahomes overthrew that dumpoff a couple of times on that drive - they haven't put this game to bed like I thought they would after the Kelce TD.

This drive feels like an Andy Reid runs twice for one yard, incomplete pass, give it back after burning 80 seconds special.
Welp, close.

And now the Chargers score a TD on last play of regulation and get the 2 point conversion to win.

What a drive the Chargers are putting on. And Mike Williams, MAN!
And to nobody's surprise, it ends with another Rivers pick.

Guys, serious sweat here. Thought for sure the Chiefs were about to relive the nightmare, especially after the Chargers were gifted the extra time on the long play with the dead clock.
Don’t really buy that Rivers was fooled, he underthrew that ball by two yards.
But going into the bye, I’ll take the win and a guarantee to at least hold onto 1st place until the Raiders game.

Of course I did because I was expecting a shoot out. Should’ve went with Darnold. It wouldn’t have mattered anyways because MG shit the bed too for me.

After screaming FTW at Rivers, I was in no mood to talk about the weekend of football. What a week it was. So now that I’ve cooled off, I think we need to talk about my top 10 things I learned from the week. 1- We’ll start where the week started. The AFC North Brawl. Say what you want but that was the beginning of what I expect to be an awesome rivalry for the next 3-5 years. That Steelers D is legit and they’ll be legit next season when healthy. The Browns are going through growing pains and will need a new HC to get better. So I’m excited for what that brawl will bring us. However, the word “indefinite” is such a POS move by a boss who doesn’t have the balls to make a decision. In the private company world, that means they’re firing you but won’t fire you because then they have to pay unemployment. So just say Garrett is suspended for the season and he can come back next year. End of story. Also, the fact Mason Rudolph got off scotch free as a victim is fucked up. He should’ve gotten 1-2 games. I think @admin said it (someone did) but maybe the NFLs punishment for the Steelers is having Rudolph remain their starter. That’s hilarious. What’s going to be more hilarious is watching Cincinnati get their first win of the season this week against Pitt. Bank on it. As for the Browns, we are going to learn a lot about their character against Miami. Will they unite and keep on winning or will all this new negative gossip have them being embarrassed by the Dolphins? Should be interesting to watch. 2- Lamar fucking Jackson! Sorry Russ, but Lamar is the MVP. Anyone saying he isn’t is full of shit. It’ll be just as bad as not handing the ball off to Lynch in the SB so Wilson can be the hero and win Super Bowl MVP. I have to say I didn’t think Lamar would work out in the NFL but I am pleased to be wrong. He’s a joy to watch except when he fucking murks you in fantasy football like he did to me this week. Back to back wins against NE and the dominance of Houston has me truly believing this Ravens team is Super Bowl bound. I think they get there. I really do. 3- Minnesota and San Francisco belong. Yes they were in games they had no business having be a close game but the way they won showed that they are both for real. I fully expected Denver to win that game and predicted it because that’s so Minnesota. BUT that come from behind victory proved that they’re not the old Minnesota anymore. This is who they are now and it’s time to recognize. Even you UT. Recognize! Both teams won with multiple injuries to their teams. 4- And to the best performance in the NFC; the New Orleans Saints. They bounced back and absolutely dominated offensively AND defensively WITHOUT Marshonn Lattimore. They’ve now won without Brees, without Kamara and without Lattimore. This team is fucking great. They are the best team in the NFL. Point blank. Michael Thomas is on his way to breaking the NFL Record for receptions in a season and is in the MVP conversation. The New Orleans Saints are here for blood and the chip and they are going to get it. @theshow be happy because this team is all business. 5- Go Raiders, go! Watching them continue to win is nerve wrecking because you’re just expecting them to lose. Every week you hope they can keep it going. Right now they’re on the outside looking in but if they don’t fall into the Gang Green Trap this weekend, then all of a sudden Week 13 could be for the AFC West with the Chiefs. Only bad news? Derek Carr is 0-5 at Arrowhead Stadium. The good news is after KC, every opponent is .500 or below. They can do it. You got to love that they’ve been competitive and fuck the haters for anticipating this team to be a joke so they can shit on John Gruden again. Fuck ya’ll! Just win, baby! 6- Have mercy on Indianapolis. What a performance against the Jags. Marlon Mack rushed for 100+ yards in the first half alone. Then one of their Williams RBs ran for 100+ in the 2nd half and the team put a franchise record for rushing yards in a game. Against Nick Foles and his return. Super impressed with Frank Reich as a HC. This dude does not get enough praise. He’s incredible at leading this team. Can they survive injury after injury after retirement? This Thursday could decide the winner of the AFC South and I’m excited to see it. Colts vs Texans. jTjohncenaGOAT vs @shin. Fight IRL! Also, Todd; how that O-Line look against Baltimore? Dreadful. 7- The Bills do have an offense! Yes they do. That Allen/Brown combo was dominant and was what people expected to see. The Bills are comfortably in the 5th seed but now you have to wonder if they can hold on. That offense needs to remain consistent and that means they have to utilize their running game better. They have a good enough D to get in. Are they good enough to make a run though? Eh. Super unimpressed. Sorry RT, but they just don’t have “it”. Seems like a cake walk for a division winner come playoff time. Whether it’s AFC West/AFC South team. The Bills are blah. 8- The Patriots are in trouble. Their defense has been awesome but that offense is so lethargic. They literally have no playmakers minus Edelman who is literally going to get killed on that field with the heart he plays with. Sony Michell is looking like he’s about to be out of the NFL in 2-3 years and James White and Rex Burkhead are not terrifying anyone. You can never count this team out with Bill and Brady but man they are going to have to do something this week against Dallas. That games going to be something to pay attention to. Contenders or pretenders will be shown. 9- Hey UT and pduh- you guys ready for SNF?! Packers vs 49ers is going to finally feel like Packers vs 49ers again. It’s been long enough IMO. It’s one of the most underrated matchups between two legendary franchises. The fact that their records are what they are heading into this match up is exciting. I really can’t wait to see how Aaron Rodgers dissects this D because truth be told the weak link in this match up is Jimmy G. So Aaron Rodgers needs to go vintage in this one and I fully expect him to shine. This is the GOTW and will decide who has a first round BYE IMO. 10- And I’ll finish it off by saying that the Rams are NOT making the playoffs. Yup. I’m done with them. They barely beat the Bears and Goff has declined terribly. That team is not who they were last season and their end of season schedule is just too rough to overcome. I found it hard to believe that the “SB Loser” drop would happen to this team but I’m watching it happen. They’re toast. My playoff picks as of now: AFC: 1- Ravens 2- Patriots 3- Chiefs 4- Texans 5- Bills 6- Raiders YEAH BABY! KC def OAK boo! HOU def BUF KC def NE BAL def HOU BAL def KC (sorry Andy, I’m over it) NFC: 1- Saints 2- 49ers 3- Packers 4- Cowboys 5- Seahawks 6- Vikings GB def MIN DAL def SEA GB def SF NO def DAL NO def GB The Saints dominate the Ravens in the Super Bowl 38-14.

Slammin' Sammy Darnold is locked in for his customary big second half to convince everyone that he is legit. Definitely invest for fantasy purposes wherever possible. The mono scaled him back a bit, he's doing things without a legit gamebreaker on offense besides maybe Bell who isn't even 100%. Beachum coming back to man LT has been big, if the Jets can land either Thomas or Jackson at OT OR Jeudy at WR in Round 1, lets go. He has his inconsistencies and he got the stupid ghost thing following him but I love watching him play, I truly believe he has it.
