OH HOW THEY'VE GROWN.
So Week 11 has a lot of games that aren't that exciting to watch, but THIS ONE should be on fucking Primetime. Two MVP candidates who are two of the most electrifying QBs in the NFL have a showdown coming and it's a 1pm game where we instead will be getting Mitchell Trubisky versus Jared Goff on SNF. SMH. Fucking idiots of the NFL. They went ahead and FLEXed Week 12 putting GB/SF on SNF, but they should've done it here too as @admin stated in the last thread. This game is going to be everything and then some. I think it's going to be shades of the Watson coming out party against Russel Wilson 2 years ago. But anyways, let's talk more about this week and get to that game when I get to that game.
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
A DEFENSIVE WAR; CLEVELAND SURVIVES ON MISSED FG BY BOSWELL
If you are tuning in to this game expecting a lot of offense and fantasy production from offensive players then you choose the wrong game to invest into. Las Vegas must love Cleveland since this is the 2nd week in a row they are favorites over a team with a winning record. They survived Buffalo last week and gets a chance to do it again against yet another lethargic offense. Cleveland is in their final Primetime game and minus them against the Jets, they have not been pretty with all the spotlight on them. The Pittsburgh Steelers on the other hand are coming off of a monster defensive performance in which they pulled a huge upset of the Los Angeles Rams. The signing of Minkah Fitzpatrick has been everything for this defense and absolutely worth the first round pick they gave up to do it. Do you know Minkah Fitzpatrick has more TDs since he's joined Pittsburgh then OBJ has all season?! Yes. That's in less games and insane. Mike Tomlin deserves a 10 year contract (2nd time I'm saying this) and technically I'm crazy for taking them to lose this game. The reason I'm picking the Browns to win is probably because I'm biased, but it's honestly dumb to believe it. I just don't believe in Pittsburghs offense enough to think they can put up the points to beat Cleveland. I'm sticking with my gut over my brain on this one. Down 8 with 4 minutes left, Rudolph hits Juju with a TD pass. The 2 point attempt fails as Rudolph is sacked. The Browns decide to go 3 and out, because that's what they do at the worst time giving Pitt the ball back with just under 3 minutes to go. Rudolph somehow manages to get his team down field and at the 25 yard line with 4 seconds left. They send out Boswell who goes out there to make his 4th FG of the game, but his 43 yard FG is blown wide right and the Cleveland Browns survive another primetime meltdown.

THE SHOWDOWN
THE GAME OF THE WEEK; WATSON BEATS LAMAR.... AGAIN
Oh how I wish I could watch this game over the Jets/Skins game I am being blessed with by CBS. Jets football, Giants football, liberals; the life of a New Yorker. -sigh- But this game honestly has two realistic possibilities. This game could either be a battle where the two QBs try to do too much, but keep making mistakes and the final score is something like 27-23 OR it could go the way I am going to dream it up and that is in an ABSOLUTE showdown. For the second game in a row, I am going with my gut over my brain in making my pick for the winner. Why? Because I feel Baltimore's D is much better then the D in Houston. Hell, I wouldn't even mind if both defenses show up offended and this doesn't become a shoot out but is an actual 'who comes up clutch in the end' game. Either way, I think Lamar Jackson is due for a critical game losing mistake/pass and I just feel that at this point, Deshaun Watson is still the better QB. Give me 4 total TDs for each QB. 3 passing, 1 rushing for Watson. 2 passing, 2 rushing for Lamar. In the end, Lamar gets intercepted with under 2 minutes to go and the Houston Texans pick up the victory and get a nice tight grip on the AFC South.
Texans def. Ravens 38-34
GUICE SCORES IN RETURN GAME; THE JETS KEEP ON ROLLIN
Oh yay. Blindy and I are so thrilled we get to watch this game instead. Well, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he is excited about this. I'm not. I'm being sarcastic. He's a homer. I have nothing exciting to say about this game. I was shocked that the Jets showed up last week and took the battle for NY/NJ over the Giants. I could see them continuing to roll into victory as they now get to face a lethargic offense in Washington that will be led by awful rookie QB Dwayne Haskins for the rest of the season. AKA EJ Manuel 2.0. Exciting times for both franchises. In what should be a boring game, I can see the Redskins actually getting into the end zone twice in this one. Once with a returning Guice breaking off a 50 yard TD run just because it's so NY of the Jets to allow it. I can also see Haskins throwing his first career TD pass into this one to former college teammate Scary Terry. Besides that and a FG, the Jets will put up enough points to pick up the victory. Sam Darnold will have an impressive 3 TD performance against a very underrated Washington D and the Jets pick up a yawn-filled victory. PS- BAD NEWS Blindy; Jets confirmed Adam Gase will be the Jets Head Coach next season. I bet that means Leveon Bell will not be a member of Gang Green next season. As for Washington; they continue fighting for that 2nd pick in the draft!
Jets def. Redskins 27-17
FITZMAGIC STRIKES AGAIN; YEAH FUCK IT
I'm in on the Dolphins and OUT on the Buffalo Bills. Sorry RT . Count me out on this Buffalo team being a playoff team. Yes, they have a great D, but the offense is just so blah it's almost Chicago-like unbearable. Actually, I think Chicago and Buffalo is a fair comparison when it comes to team build. The Miami Dolphins are feeling good with now 2 wins in a row and I'm just going to go for it here and give them a 3rd in a row. Should it happen? No. But Rolling Thunder nearly called it last time they met. That was in Buffalo, this one is in Miami. Give me Miami with its third in a row.
Dolphins def. Bills 23-19
TIS THE SEASON; ST. NICHOLAS WINS IN RETURN
RIP MUSTACHEMANIA. RIP MINSHEWMANIA. RIP Indianapolis Colts. Say what you want Todd and my sincerest apologies (and welcome to the thread) jTjohncenaGOAT , but the Colts are done. If the injuries to Hilton, Campbell and Brissett weren't enough then the loss to the Miami Dolphins was. Oh, it wasn't? Well then guess who is back? Nick Foles. And guess what time of the season it is? That's right. St. Nicholas is back bitches. I don't think Brissett plays in this game and even if he does, it's lights out for Indianapolis. There's no stopping Nick Foles in the 2nd half of the season and both teams are walking out of this game 5-5 because that's what the AFC South is all about. A bunch of teams crammed together near .500. Indianapolis struggles to move the ball and Nick Foles wins a low scoring game.
Jaguars def. Colts 26-17
UPSET ALERT; BRONCOS SHUN AND STUN MINNY
Look at me all bad at all the upsets that ruined my parlays last week! Taking it out on all these damn favorites this week! First Buffalo and their inept offense and now I'm predicting the red hot Kirk Cousins to lose to the 3-6 Broncos at home?! AM I MAD?! Well, check it. Kirk Cousins is going to be without Adam Thielen again this week and is going to have Stefon Diggs covered by Chris Harris all game. So what should the Denver Broncos game plan be? SHUT DOWN THE RUN! That's how they're going to beat Minnesota, along with the constant pressure on Kirk Cousins which will force him into mistakes. Sure, the rookie QB in Denver is not the answer of the future for the Broncos franchise but a 2-0 start to his career is about to continue. This is exactly the type of game Minnesota loses. Last season they lost to the Buffalo Bills. This time they'll lose to the Denver Broncos in a low scoring affair.
Broncos def. Vikings 17-15
ANGRY BREES UNLEASHES HELL; SAINTS BOUNCE BACK WITH WIN
In the biggest upset of the season (in which I picked the Falcons to cover in my parlay~! but still lost~!) the Saints got abused last week. Their offense was completely rattled and unprepared for last week. This week will be a different story as they will bounce back against another division foe. Jameis Winston and company survived Arizona last week (in which I called Arizona covering the spread on my parlay too~!) and it was not pretty. This week the running game is not going to get anything going for either team which means the ball will have to be played through the QBs. The Saints are going to be at a disadvantage defensively if Marshon Lattimore can't play this week, but if there's a way, there's a will for Jameis Winston turning the ball over. I don't expect this game to be a shoot out, but both teams will move the ball. It'll come down to mistakes and Winston will make costly ones while Drew Brees will be flawless tearing up that secondary. I'm calling a 4 TD passing day for Drew Brees as he bounces back with a bang.
Saints def. Buccaneers 38-27
THE BIRDS KEEP FLYIN; PANTHERS SUFFER BACK TO BACK HEARTBREAKERS
I knew Atlanta would cover last week, because they were playing for their Head Coach. The fact that they dominated and won makes me think that the Post-Bye Falcons are going to be A LOT better then the Pre-Bye Falcons. Call me crazy for this. The Carolina Panthers came up "short" as their superstar RB just happens to be too short to reach. That and his fat ass O-Linemen got in his way as he was charging forward and couldn't pull him in. Anyways, another week of CMC scoring TDs will continue here as he doesn't get any love for in the MVP department. 'DASS RACIST!' But this dude is shattering records this season. Unfortunately for him, it seems like Lamar Jackson is going to do the same. ANYWAYS, back to this game. I'm feeling it in the gut that the Falcons win a bunch of games in the 2nd half of the season ruining great draft position and probably finishing 7-9 or something. That rise to the mediocrity begins here with Julio Jones having a 2 score game. Fantasy football waiver wire sensation Brian Hill gets a TD in an otherwise forgettable performance, but the game is won when Matt Ryan hits Russell Gage for a GW TD with under 10 seconds to go. Carolina loses this one by giving up a GW TD in the final seconds. Back to back heartbreakers for Carolina. Back to back division wins for Atlanta. The bad news for Atlanta? Austin Hooper will be sidelined for at least a month.
Falcons def. Panthers 31-28
ZEKE N THE BOYS DOMINATE; STAFFORD FALLS FLAT ON RETURN
So word out of Detroit is that Matthew Stafford should be good to go for this week against Dallas. I guess that's good news for the fantasy owners of Golloday and Marvin Jones. However, don't expect them to do much against Dallas in this game. The match up against Chicago was apparently too dangerous for Stafford, but they trust his spine not shattering against Dallas? Interesting how sports works. I feel for this man when he's done with the game with that back injury. Anyways, the running game for Detroit will be Paul Perkins and McKissic which means absolutely nothing. Zeke will finally have his huge game that I have wrongly predicted for a few weeks now, but if there's a team that gives up TDs to RBs, its the Lions. Zeke goes off in this one for 170 all purpose yards and a pair of TDs. A tight game at half time gets completely taken over in the 2nd half as Stafford ends the game with 3 interceptions. Dallas goes on the road in this one and wins comfortably keeping the critics quiet for another week. That's with OR without Stafford. Detroit stands no chance.
Cowboys def. Lions 34-10
NOT SO CLOSE THIS TIME; SF DEVOUR SOME BIRDS
Okay, I on the spot said the Niners would be in trouble this week against Arizona before they made a comeback against Seattle, but let's be honest. SF is going to devour the Birds here. They're pissed off about that tight loss to Seattle and are going to come out just as hungry defensively. I don't know what's going on with David Johnson but expect him to get shut down for the season as soon as Chase Edmonds is good to come back. I don't think the Cards are going to be able to surprise the Niners as much in this game as the last one. Jimmy G might not light it up for 4 TDs again, but it wont matter in this one. The Red Birds fail to lift off the ground much in this one and San Francisco annihilates them with a pair of defensive TDs in the process.
49ers def. Cardinals 35-9
REVENGE IS A MOFO; TB12 SCORES RECEIVING TD IN VICTORY
Oh yes sir. I'm calling it now! Revenge with a trick play. Tom Brady is catching a TD pass in this one and it's going to be bittersweet. Carson Wentz is going to struggle moving the ball in this one. The running game isn't going to do much. The WR core is banged up and not good enough. Zack Ertz will probably have 14 receptions in this one, but it will not matter at the end. I don't think the Eagles are good enough to compete with New England. Let alone beat them. TB12 throws for 3 TDs and catches 1. It's a dominant performance by this offense as they look alive for the first time this year. The defense returns back to its dominant ways forcing 3 turnovers and sacking Wentz 5 times. The Patriots toy with the Eagles and it's a blow out.
Patriots def. Eagles 42-14
A ROOKIE, A CAR AND A WALRUS; RAIDAHZ KEEP BENGALS WINLESS
I don't think the Bengals are even trying anymore and I don't blame them. The AJ Green thing is a mess. They were surprisingly able to move the ball last week against the Ravens but would get picked off every time they got too close. Joe Mixon finally had a decent game, but it didn't matter. They got blown out. The Raiders, on the other hand, are coming off of a huge division rival victory over the Chargers. They nearly self destructed with all their penalties, but they pulled it off when it mattered most. This would be a real sad time for them to lose so I hope it doesn't happen. I think it'll be a comfortable enough victory where Derek Carr finally hits the 300 yard mark for the season and throws 3 TDs, 1 to Waller. I'm counting on a 2 TD performance from Josh Jacobs in this one, too. The Raiders are very much in the playoff picture and a win here could make that MNF showdown between KC/LAC a lot more interesting. Let's do it for my fantasy team! LET'S DO IT FOR OAKLAND~! LET'S GO RAIDAHZ~! Plus this keeps the trend on all the late afternoon (3) games being blow outs.
Raiders def. Bengals 38-17
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
GOFF VS TRUBISKY EQUALS BARF; RAMS WIN LOW SCORING BATTLE
Still mad that this is the SNF showdown. If this was in Chicago, I would have the Bears winning since Goff is absolutely awful on the road, but this is in Los Angeles and I think Goff makes one or two more plays then that bum ass dude in Chicago. I see a lot of FGs, a lot of sacks and a Los Angeles victory in a game I will be bitching about all Sunday Night. GIVE US WATSON VS LAMAR~!
Rams def. Bears 19-10
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
VIVA LA MEXICO; MAHOMES WINS SHOOT OUT
Yup. SHOOT OUT! The Chargers season can be saved or basically ended in this one. I'm going to go with Patrick Mahomes leading a bounce back performance. If Mexico wants some offense, I expect this will be the game to go to. I'm actually excited for this game and not just because I have Rivers/Melvin starting in my big league. But I feel like the Chiefs and Chargers always put up entertaining performances in Primetime. Everyone remembers last seasons 2nd showdown where Keenan Allen went down and Mike Williams went off? Well, expect more from Mike Will in this one as he cracks 125 yards and a TD. Mahomes finds Kelce twice in this one and hits up Cheetah and Damien for his other two passing TDs. The game comes to an end with Butker kicking a 52 yard FG to put the game at double digits with under a minute left after the defense stops the Chiefs from getting the first down. Rivers gets some dump off passes to Ekeler in the final minute, but ends it with getting greedy and getting picked off on a bomb to Mike Williams. Melvin Gordon has another big 125 yard plus pay dirt game, but in this shoot out, the Chiefs are just too much to keep up with. However, if Oakland handles their business with Cincinnati, I will be rooting heavily against mikec and those pesky Kansas City Chiefs!
Chiefs def. Chargers 48-38
