I've always taken Kap with a grain of salt since he never stood for anything until he got benched, also got released at the end of one season, and filed a suit just after the start of the next, like he was entitled to a job when he wasn't the first vet to have to sit out for a while. He wanted his crew in for a documentary maybe, though he has a pretty fair argument that he wanted it for fairness in the process given the ways he believes the NFL has fucked over his career and when that was denied he asked for the press to be involved so that they could keep the NFL honest.

And when you ask why he deserved a “special tryout”, it’s worth remembering that it was the NFL’s idea to give him the tryout, with a number of preconditions that were working against him.

I get it Tebow throwing motion sucks and I saw a year of him as a Jet to know he brought nothing to the table but he got blackballed by the league and was told by Belichick to change his position or goodbye and he opted to put his baseball merits on display. Kaep's performance against Green Bay blows away ANY playoff performance Tebow had.  Offensively Tebow had better talent easily.   Peyton Manning took that EXACT same offensive talent and went for  over 5000 yards with them
