I would love for Alexandra to serve me my drinks, but there is no way in hell I'd vote her for President. She's a fucking fruitcake. Because she's a woman? No because her policy ideas are a recipe for disaster,

Cutting taxes on the rich instead of providing social support to the people worked for every other country in the world I am glad to pay more in taxes than Jeff Bezos did most years. Totally fair system, he clearly needs those billions more than I need the few thousands the government takes.

More people ramping up Biden attacks in favor of Bernie, yet Biden looks to be sweeping the elections tonight. Now with Warren's endorsement, Bernie will be down at least 70.

Bernie took Mississippi, Missouri and Michigan. Other two were too close tonight for results but means at best Bernie splits the other states. The path to the White House is rapidly closing as Bernie will go to the convention in second place.

At this point I'm just looking forward to Trump making Biden shit his pants in the debates. Hopefully a nurse will be available to change his diaper. Guess Warren will do.

Assuming both survive to see the debates <.<
Curious to see how long it will take for Trump to say the election should not be held in Nov as the Coronavirus outbreak goes on. His voting base will be decimated by the virus while the democratic base will remain largely untouched.

Biden took Idaho and is leading in Washington. It is expected that Bernie will concede this week and back Biden as he lacks a path to the White House and continuing on just hurts the democratic path to the White House overall.

Cutting taxes on the rich instead of providing social support to the people worked for every other country in the world I am glad to pay more in taxes than Jeff Bezos did most years. Totally fair system, he clearly needs those billions more than I need the few thousands the government takes. What you can see is the world's economy is grinding to a halth. There is no innovation and no risks being taken by the average person, a lack of risk equals a shrinking economy. The USA is a shit show of a country as far as economic policy is concerned, the idea that there shouldn't be Universal health care is staggering to me. As is the idea that there is not a push on to have a living wage as a central plank of economic policy, but this cannot happen until there is innovation because no-one wants to pay twice as much for their stuff. So they need to not go after the middle and upper middle class, because they are the employers and the drivers of the economy. Let's be real, taxes on the billionaires are not going to shift the needle in terms of tax revenue.

Billionaires do not innovate in the US when they get tax cuts. They reinvest the money or save it. We had 40 years of economic policy showing this. The US government itself drives innovation through NSF grants. These pushes are because a small amount of people can afford to have people that do nothing but suggest tax cuts so they can stockpile wealth offseas.
If the goal was really innovation then give tax breaks on things that will lead to innovation. That is not what is wanted though. But that is not what is wanted. They want the cash to reinvest or move offseas.

Also the money we used in the last tax cut would pay for universal healthcare. We want to cut the same again to increase spending. These tax cuts only effect 1 percent of america, and taxes on the lower 99 usually increase during these tax cuts as part of spread the burden policy attached to them. Your average person who wishes to innovate now is spending more on taxes not less.

My position is one of a strong socially-minded capitalist society.

Not sure which thread to post this in: here, coronavirus, or job bitching. It covers all three. Anyway... The hysteria and pandemonium of this coronavirus has me Raging and it's tough to pinpoint why. In terms of what I fear, it's not getting sick myself or the economic downturn. It's mostly Wife losing the baby as a result of her getting sick. So long as that doesn't happen, I'm honestly all in on chaos and anarchy and a global population reducing apocalypse. Don't get me wrong either though, I'll still complain about being inconvenienced. Speaking of apocalypse and inconvenience, I've been mostly interested in coronavirus in so far as seeing how my manager and company would react. Specifically, if leadership would somehow officially confirm the unofficial truth: they don't give a fuck about people, only their bonuses. More specifically, if my manager would be forced to have us work remote and thus realize we're adults and can work remote and get our work done. Then, once coronavirus has passed, he'd have no argument for being rigidly against remote work. But today added a whole new wrinkle. Real quick, first... Pittsburgh and Western PA is an odd mix mash of blue and red. The tech companies gravitating here because of CMU and employing younger people with massive paychecks and bonuses and awesome stock options and benefits are totally blue. Almost to a fault. The older, stodgier companies like mine employee typically older people who must apparently think a dollar is still worth what it was in 1970. Anyway, mostly red. Back to today... I don't know whether to make heads or tails of this whole coronavirus thing, but this gaggle of ditzy old red cunts in the next cubicle corridor over are yacking on and on today about how this whole coronavirus thing is essentially fake news the left designed to try to get Trump out of office. What.. The... Fuck!? Then I hear from folks in our manufacturing plant down in South Carolina that none of them their believe in coronavirus, that these make-believe diseases always come outta the woodwork during election season. What... The... Fuck!? I don't want to buy into the hysteria, but idiot fucks like these are making me want to almost out of pure spite. I'm hoping that if/when coronavirus does sweep the nation, these fucktards —and the rest of their like-minded cohorts elsewhere around the country— not only catch it but die from it. Their stupidity needs to be thinned outta the gene pool. Seriously, why does fucking EVERYTHING have to be politicized these days? Feel like it's even a thinly veiled political thing to like Shayna, Meryl, Charlize, etc. What... The... Fuck!? Just want sit back with my gummies and AR, chomp a few, and get ready to PowerrrRumble.

🤯,I don't mean to be offensive but does it alarm you that so many Americans are retarded? We definitely in every possible way live in a post-truth world. Absolutely alarming and utterly disconcerting. Almost to the point I'm considering abandoning my American exceptionalism/patriotism every other day. I see that little hope for us. c's post about the untold alternate/real history of the US resonates still with me. It's so much more legit than I or anyone realizes or wants to realize, I bet. Would love to expat in Japan after my visit there last March. Despite its flaws, seems like a country and a people that overall has shit figured out. Wife would be on board with that. We can be Giovanni Ribisi and ScarJo, I guess. Lost in translation. Too bad Japan is so anti-gummy. Crash of 2020 already shaping up for the history books. All the gains made since Trump took office are gone this week. Market dropped 10 percent today, after falling about the same monday. After releasing federal funds it continued to fall.
Without a stable stock market there is only one tried and true way a Republican stays in office, we are going to war. I expect an invasion this summer to deal with some terrorist threat in the middle east. We launched missiles into Iraq thurs and we can always go for a visit there if needed.
