No two matches look like they will be the same, and most of them were properly built up to one way or another, it's....refreshing lol.

Only one I would probably skip is Dustin vs Hager.

Interested in everything other than the Bucks. Should be a really good show. Rooting for Moxley.

Oh, how I've been looking forward to this show. Can't wait for Cody/MJF.

I'd imagine Moxley-Jericho will be a step down from Moxley-Omega, but a step up from Alpha-Omega in terms of violence. I expect a wild and crazy brawl, very little wrestling but I get the feeling it's going to be more dramatic than the Asylum match or whatever it was called four years ago (yep...four years ago). Jericho being Jericho, I expect him to have an ace up his sleeve and unveil Lance Archer but I hope to be proven wrong because...

I'd be much more interested in seeing Archer take on Cody and have a traditional babyface vs. monster feud leading into their next PPV. I think Archer-Moxley is a little too predictible and since MJF will likely find some way to cheat his way to victory doing it 2/2 just sounds like the type of downer any promotion should be avoiding.

I'm expecting the mega-powers to explode in the tag team match with Page turning on Omega after the match setting up a feud between the two. We'll get a frenetic match out of it, but the Bucks chemistry will prove too strong and the Jacksons will finally get their hands on the title.

Statlander will put in a good showing, but Nyla is a brick wall and she won't lose here. They'll showcase Kris, but Nyla will win and she'll know who her next challenger is by the end of the match.

Darby/Guevara will be given the license to steal the show. I expect both guys to put it on the line and do all sorts of crazy stunts to topple the other guy in which case, Darby will have more in the tank. Darby and Jungle Boy are the two long term options. Not in year one, not in year two but by year three both guys will be in the title picture and that ascent will begin tonight.

Cassidy will surprise some people, but I don't expect him to go long with PAC.

Dustin is going to regret getting under the skin of Hager and I expect to see another side of Jack we've only seen glimpses of back in his ECW days. Dustin's experience will keep him in the match, but ultimately Hager's natural ability will shine through and he'll remind everyone he's more than just Jericho's bitch.

I expect the fans to enjoy the show even if there isn't one match that really steals the show and puts itself among the all-time classics.

They've built up a really good card. Every match feels important and has a pretty good build, with the possible exception of the women's title match.

Cody has found his niche as the old school NWA psychology-heavy worker, which is certainly a good thing in today's spotfest climate, and MJF is a fantastic foil for that kind of match. I fear the match will become a bit too "sports-entertainy" with Waldorf and Arn and possibly Brandi all running interference.

The in-ring debuts of Orange Cassidy and Jake Hager are both really promising. Hager in particular. He's been protected very well, as has Dustin, who is a fantastic opponent for a fresh face.

I could see The Young Bucks turning heel.

It's probably the best women's match they can put on but yeah the women's division needs serious help.

Hager doesn't compel me at all, I just don't think he can pull off the badass/psycho thing that every company has him doing just because he has a similar profile to Lesnar. Dustin is great but that match may not get a lot of heat.

Allin/Guevara could be a sleeper for MotN. Both guys have no right to be so good so young. Hopefully they have a proper match and not just movez.

They turn on Hangman late in the match, kicking Page aside and “cutting the fat” so to speak. Kenny hands The Bucks the tag titles, then they unite to leapfrog Kenny to the AEW title.

How would the Bucks work as heels? I mean they can't work anyway but do they change their styLe?

Hangman tried to leave but they didn't let him. Is the elite like a gang where you are pretty much in for life. Or is it they didn't want him to quit before they could fire him from the Elite?

And wasn't Havoc suppose to fight Luther tonight in some type of hardcore match?

That was an decent enough opener to the show.

The only thing I don't like about AEW using a catwalk for PPVs, is that Darby Allin won't be able to ride his skateboard down to the ring.
