COME AND GO: Looks like we may have to deal with Baker leaving us, if only temporarily. He has responded to the rumors and has confirmed he will be taking a break following the completion of Favorite Wrestler, which is why Brocktober can never conclude. He stressed it was a break and he'll be back. And if not, well others will simply take your spot like The Dazz has returned. We're like NXT, one call-up and we just reuse someone else until we run out of toys in the box. 144 to choose from afterall.
JUST READ IT READ IT: Fan Fic is still being pretty active at the moment. @ness updated his Storytime thread talking about a dark period in his life. And unlike Luke Harper there was no one to fill that spot. rad is also acting as the Earth 16 GRRM with how much he's updating his fed. Get it while it's hot because he may disappear if nobody is paying attention. Look at pduh and he hasn't been here to update us on podcasts six months in the future. I don't like this idea posters can just decide whether they're active or not.
SUPERIOR ATHLETES: Sports is also doing it's thing with some countdown updates. We have another best center involved with the NHL, but sadly Ness has never heard of him. If Ness doesn't know of it, does it even exist? Also get ready for best rivalries after the best documentaries countdown. Lots to sink your teeth into like a freshly baked slice of pizza straight from THE PIT~!. The NFL draft is also wrapping up, or I assume based on how many pages it's on. Get ready to vote, but I doubt mail-in ballots are available. Ask @admin for the self-addressed stamped envelope.
POP CULTURE STUFF: Oldboy (not EasyRider) makes an appearance in the Best of the Decade list. It had a remake in English, but unlike the Departed it wasn't nearly as beloved as the original. Posters are also making up titles on what other Korean films could be called if they existed. I hope you weren't planning your Best One Location list because it's been scrapped in favor of Buddy Cop films. I wonder if Stuber will make the list? Also some comic/comedy threads had posts in them.

Aww. @ness likes me. He really likes me.  Starting to wish I never would have mentioned my impending break. Should have just ghosted. Now I feel like a drama queen. The truth is I've spent like 4-5 hours posting on PW every single night for the past few months. All those long storytimes don't write themselves. I need to get back to doing...other things. At least on occasion. Come to think of it, shinobimusashi would usually shoot me a PM or two while I was on break. Shin: The only one who cared. These Regal takes are so weird to me. Regal was always a 100% character guy to me. Never cared for his matches. lol @ Baker getting the fuck out of here. lol again at rad being the reverse GRRM. I still need to properly read them btw. Sorry Rad! Rivalries should be a fun sports countdown. The Ness Test is a lot like the similar Parent Test I use from time to time. I'll have to pop into the Unbeloved Comedy thread at some point. My mom apparently had a ton of classic comic books from the 50s & 60s. Her father gave them away to a distant cousin without asking her first. My mom is still annoyed by this. I probably like British comedy more than most people here, but I never lasted more than 5 minutes with Mr. Bean. Nor do I care for Monty Python. No Boats and Hoes=No Ratings

Oh damn I was actually prepping my One Location movie list too. Don't think I'll have much to offer for buddy cops. That is one genre that has been neglected in my movie viewing life.

sandylea and I went to see The Wall (2017) also I think there was one other couple in the theatre. Do the buddy cop movies have to be comedies? I loved End of Watch.

Pros and cons of listening to the audio while I drive around in the mornings Pros: it's like being on PW without being on PW (which is hard to do while driving!) Cons: I can't record my notes for comments as I listen My short term memory is fried, so excuse these thoughts if they're not verbatim. Also excuse me for forgetting things. Main takeaways: - lol'd @ the "go rape someone" advice to Mark Messier & Others - like the coining of Sideline Guys for those who don't actively, passionately participate in but still follow loosely Sports - wouldn't trade a thousand The Dazz's for a single Baker, but I get that the greats sometimes need downtime to refresh and recharge. So long as I still get epic Baker-man content every once in a while, go ahead and give him the Brock Schedule if he needs/wants it. - Miss boats and hoes outro already, but alternatively dig live commentary while struggling to find the button to click. I was expecting The Wall to be pretty average tbh, but I will basically see anything that has John Cena in it - and I loved the movie. It was fantastic. Even System loved it. Disappointed the countdown changed again lol, do buddy cop movies have to be funny or nah?
