Damn I have 3 guys on BYE including Cooks and Melvin Gordon and Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder hurt and my team thus far is clicking. I love my Rookie RB duo of Kamara and McCaffrey and the Goff/Watkins gamble has really worked out so far. Even Robbie Anderson gave me something

I have the 5th most points scored in our league, it's just I dwarf everyone in pts against. I dont deserve to be in the basement, sorry Sammy!

I’d need a lot more to trade Brown in a PPR league. Prescott isn’t a big enough leap to lose the best receiver in fantasy football.

Thanks guys. Today's performances mixed in with the way Tampa Bay has been playing all season has me okay with keeping the QB committee going. Especially considering Goff was a beast for me today after I dropped Cousins. I have the win wrapped up and snap out of a 2 game losing streak and jump to 5-4. That was, by the way, after losing Watson, Ertz, Fournette and Antonio Brown for the week. Not to mention, Doug Martin absolutely shit the bed. 

The PW league is where I'm starting to falter. Unless I get big second halfs from my three starters, my chances of remaining in the top 2 are slim. Next, I face HR. Ouch.

While you suckas battle for a playoff spot, HR and I come off close wins last week and battle it out for the #1 seed. HR has the most points scored so even if I win, he'll always have that tiebreaker over me and can always recapture that 1 seed. However, that first round bye is very important and I want it. I want it so bad that I picked up Desean Jackson (who HR just dropped) to beat him with his own player. No Mike Evans this week, so I'm hoping D-JAX goes wild on HR. Jimmy Graham got me off to a huge start with 2 TDs and now we wait. Good luck, HR. Good luck to everyone battling for the other 3-4 seeds. You'll need it!

Getting Kamara in the final round has been a godsend. He is the fucking man right now.

I'm going back to back to back with the top 3 seeds with TA1, Kid and HR in consecutive matchup. I can afford 1 more loss in the next 4 as I think a 6-7 team makes the playoffs and my points for is damn good.....i gotta sneak a win on kid or HR. Kid lucks out with MCaffrey and my Jets on Byes though even at full strength, having to play HR twice is cruel.

Big performance vs TA1, have to go 2-1 and hope for the best.

Well Kid will get another "Monday miracle" rather easily since

A) Derek Carr is fucking garbage, cant even spank this patriot defense. I made the right call giving him the nod over Goff but Carr is still fucking ass.
B) Buffalo defense did not want to show up, fucking sad shit. Melvin Gordon got to rest late in the game too, incredible. It's like they see Peterman throw INTs and decide to lay down and die. Ever since Dareus got dealt, the Buffalo D hasn't been the same.
C) Jake Elliot gets concussed

I could afford 1 more loss but I have to win back to back. Not looking good, destiny is out of my hands despite a top 5 or so points for. Can't go down a 0-6 hole is the moral of this story.

I get my A team for the next 2 weeks, just have to get it done.

Yeah, MNF seems to be the night I get most of my wins. Let's hope Julio Jones finds the end zone twice tonight and that Matt Ryan takes advantage of the depleted Boom Squad tonight.

In my money league, I'm up 26.22 with my opponent having Baldwin, Graham and Seattle D left. I'm pretty much fucked and it's because I benched Keenan Allen for Corey Davis. That and Kenyan Drake and Zack Ertz did nothing for me. Ertz couldn't even hold onto the ball for that 2 point conversion to just get me two points. So pissed.

Pretty sure this was the first week my team exceeded the projections, and it still wasn't enough to net a victory.

I think there's still the absolute slimmest of chances that I could make the playoffs, but all in all I'd say this season's just about done.

As king of the waiver wire it's not a great surprise that you're scoring below your projection.

We need to do something about that waiver wire bullshit for next season, by the way. I hate that I have no chance at anyone because I have the best record.

I agree to a certain extent in hindsight - although I think most of the super hot waiver adds this season have actually not been very valuable. I think this way is better than how we had it previously (just being online at the right time wasn't fair at all) but there's still a bit of a problem. I'm going to look in to doing FAAB for next season, that seems to be a popular method.

RT's position as it stands is an indictment on our league, even more so if he goes on to win. I think we'll drop down to 10 teams for next season unless we can magically make two new players appear.

But I'd be in favor of some sort of FAAB for next year.  We have that in place in my other league and I think it works fairly well.

Wish something could be done with head to head as I'm like 10 pts away from foos who I think has the 3rd highest point total in the league but I have most points for and lead everyone by 100 plus.

League comes down to who and when you play most of the time, not how good of a team you got . I play HR and Tinybignuts 2x since I played an both week 1 and 2, two of the top scoring teams in the league this year and I'm an underdog this week despite being on track to score 119.

I wish pts for mattered more, I think last year I was 6th most in pts for yet finished in 7th place. Mite be a repeat this yr.


Sorry if it sounds like sour grapes but I'm like the buffalo bills of the league. I don't win enough to make the playoffs but I don't suck enough to get a top pick as I legit try in the consolation prize so I miss out on stud RB.frustrating.

I don't think you'll get too much support changing the head to head - that's a pretty intrinsic part of NFL fantasy. I thought it was annoying at first having played EPL fantasy for many years where it's all about total points, but now I've come to love the extra excitement that a matchup brings.

You've got a legitimate point about tanking in the playoffs though. Perhaps we should change how the draft order for the following season works in regards to those in the consolation playoffs (whether it be total points or a lottery rather than purely on the playoff results)? Although if we drop down to 10 teams that will become less of an issue.

To combat tanking: my other league sets it up so that the draft order for teams making it to the semi-finals is determined by playoff standings, while the draft order for all others is determined solely by end-of-season standings. That way the consolation brackets can play for wins in the playoffs while not having to worry about ruining their draft position.

Something to consider.
