I held my tongue because I'm never quite sure how work can handle jokes, but wanted to make a comment about his many kids and of course he never wraps his package...

This morning, in that period of time between waking up and getting out of bed, a really strange wrestling idea popped into my head. My half-awake brain took that idea and churned into a half-formed storyline.

I'm tempted to write it up as a Fan Fiction idea. It is very much fiction. Not going to make a fed because nobody has time for that, but if I ever get some divine inspiration I'll stick it in that thread. Emperor's Wacky Ideas, or something.

If you win your first round, you can sit out until your second round match or interfere in other first round matches. No dq. Falls count anywhere. Bracket stays on the screen the whole time. Updated live. Too convoluted?

Beautifully so.

Same ring would be super tough to pull off. Although if it's Falls Count Anywhere then the ring isn't really an issue. It's basically 4 simultaneous brawls until there are only 2 people left standing.

I like it. I'd even go one step further and have a cage or cell lower when you get to the finals. Use the excuse that you want to keep the losers out.

Should have matches at the top mall’s roof or in cages with full of tiger last man standing wins!

What if there's 2 rings, but everything outside the ropes is HOT LAVA?

Have two rings. Two matches at the same time. Then the pace is a bit faster, and intereferences can be more chaotic.

I figured this should go in here since I don't want to detract from those advertising their actual active fans fics.



Anyway, I was having a bit of a clear-out and found the really amazing gift PB sent me for the 2012 Gift Exchange thing we all did (I still feel bad that I didn't get around to sending something back, sorry PB!). For those that don't know, it basically recapped my old Fan Fic from 2009 which ran consistently for several years and then on and off until the old PW ceased to exist. Anyway, it had everything in there: all my show results with comments from those that reviewed the show at the time, a mention for the random superstars I pushed and for the divas taking a lot of the spotlight. It had the awards I won in our year-end awards and at the end, a collection of really, really nice comments about me and the fan fic from pretty much everyone that was involved in Fan Fic back then and even those that never stepped foot in it.



I hadn't looked at that for a long time so it was very cool to do so again and a real trip down memory lane. It was only a fan fic but what a blast I had coming up with ideas and writing that fic and I'm proud of it. That whole time was such a good period. PW thrived, Fan Fic thrived and it was just such a great place to be. Those were the glory days of the place. I'm sad that I never saved back all my work. I had some on old computers and such but PW giving up for good meant the end of ever recovering it. Even when I didn't update often near the end of PW, I still liked to go back and re-read some of the ideas or shows I had.



Reading it, it made me want to come on and recapture the enthusiasm and dedication I had towards a fan fic and it definitely made me log in for the first time in a while to talk about it. I know this is a bit long-winded now so I'll wrap up the speech, haha, I hope you are all doing great. I still keep in touch with what some of you are up to these days via FB and I do pop in here now and again.

Thanks PB - that means a lot. I'll definitely try and visit more often as from the brief look I've had last night and today, it seems to be more active than I previously remember and there is a lot of old faces still here which is heartening to see.

Thanks again PB . This is one of the most thoughtful gifts I ever received and was a blast reading it back.

Aside from wishing I’d proof-read it better, that brought back so many memories. I kinda forgot just how active we were and how much work we all put into things like the Power Ten and the Awards and what not, and it all meant so much. Really cool to see - thanks for posting it.

I do have memories of being sent a pm asking to say something about the fed.

I'm glad it wasn't a dream because I was starting to wonder if it actually happened.
