Thursday Night Atlanta (1-6) at Carolina (3-4)
Sunday Early Indianapolis (4-2) at Detroit (3-3) Los Angeles Rams (5-2) at Miami (3-3) Las Vegas (3-3) at Cleveland (5-2) Minnesota (1-5) at Green Bay (5-1) New England (2-4) at Buffalo (5-2) New York Jets (0-7) at Kansas City (6-1) Pittsburgh (6-0) at Baltimore (5-1) Tennessee (5-1) at Cincinnati (1-5-1) Sunday Late
Los Angeles Chargers (2-4) at Denver (2-4) New Orleans (4-2) at Chicago (5-2) San Francisco (4-3) at Seattle (5-1) Sunday Night
Dallas (2-5) at Philadelphia (2-4-1)
Monday Night Tampa Bay (5-2) at New York Giants (1-6)
🏈🏈🏈🏈
Steelers/Ravens is obviously the marquee matchup this week, and has me considering getting up at 5am to watch. Pittsburgh remaining the only unbeaten team in the league after surviving a strong comeback from the Titans, while the Ravens had the luxury of a week off to prepare for their AFC North rivals. This looks to be a referendum game on which team has the best defence in the league - Baltimore currently #1 in PPG allowed at 17.3 (and add Yannick Ngakoue this week) while Pittsburgh top the league in YPG at 286.3.
In the late slot there's another intriguing divisional matchup between the 49ers and Seahawks. San Francisco have thumbed their nose at those who wrote them off, recording back to back quality wins against the Rams and Patriots whilst weathering their significant injury list. Seattle's luck and lack of pass rush finally to them against Arizona, and they'll need to bounce back quickly in order in order to maintain their lead at the top of the uber-competitive NFC West.
We go from a powerhouse division to a trashbag at night where Soprano's extra Ben DiNucci will make his first start as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys against Carson Wentz's ragtag Philadelphia Eagles. Fellow NFC East flops the Giants round out the week against the surging Buccaneers who are now arguably the most complete team in the league. The combined spread against the two New York teams this week is a whopping 30.5 points!

Where's this week's catchy subtitle!? Couldn’t think of anything good so I’m open to suggestions! Best I could come up with was Big Ben vs Big Truss but that was too close to last weeks!

I would not bet on the Chiefs beating the spread. 20 points too high. Unless they purposefully want Leveon Bell to dictate the game and run clock as result, I would. Jets are that bad.

My quick run down: I'm going ALL IN on the Atlanta Falcons winning tonight. And to the chagrin of UT and his statistics of over/under, I got ATL -3.5/OVER 49.5. The over/under ended up going higher today too. But fuck it. I'm banking on my opinion that the Panthers are NOT as good as their record indicates and that the Falcons are not as awful as their record indicates either. I'm taking the Falcons to win 34-27 in a high scoring game unlike their first match up. Matt Ryan throws for 4 TDs and the Panthers lose their final game without CMC. Also Blindy is CRAZY for skipping this game! Get off your Jets bandwagon and tune in for the GLORY that is the Kansas City Chiefs. Man, I love me some Mahomes. I love me some Kelce. I love me some Hardman. I love me some Honey Badger. But this Sunday I am going to LOVE me some Leveon Bell REVENGE! The spread is KC 19.5 which is hilarious and probably not enough. I can't wait to watch the Chiefs destroy the Jets here. I mean, in a way, I hope they don't so Mahomes doesn't get benched in the 4th quarter again, but it is what it is. The best team in the world vs the worst team in the world. Chiefs to win 45-10.Indianapolis and Detroit looks like a good game on paper, but Detroit kind of sucks. I think Indy comes out of their BYE looking really good and completely shut down Detroit's offense. Hopefully the offense plays well, though. I don't think they will, but I think the Indy D does enough to give the Colts a comfortable enough victory. Indy to win 23-10.IT'S TUA TIME~! I already went over this and I think they are crazy for throwing Tua into the fire against Aaron Donald and Co, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to see how he looks out there. Let's see what he got. As for my prediction, I'm taking the Rams winning a close one. Only close because Miami's D comes to play. Cooper Kupp will get his 2nd 100 yard game of the season and the Rams will win by a TD after picking off Tua to close the game out on his attempt at a game tying drive. Rams win 21-13.Is Cam Newton done? Is Buffalo's D legit? Can Buffalo forcefully take the AFC East this weekend? I hope so and I know RT does too. I think Cam will come out strong and keep this game close, but in the end the Patriots just don't have enough weapons to win this game in crunch time. I really want Buffalo's D to dominate in this one, but I just can't completely give up on Cam and Bill yet. Bills win 27-23.
The RAIDAHZ~! The Brownz~! I don't know why, but I find these two teams so dirty to love yet I love the dirtiness of loving them. People (and statistics) say that Baker Mayfield is better WITHOUT OBJ so I am interested to see how that shows this week. The Raiders are hard to understand. They beat the Chiefs and then get dominated by the Buccaneers. It must be that division rivalry thing, but can the Raiders go to Cleveland and win? Eh, I don't like how the Raiders perform in the East Coast and I think Cleveland is still technically east coast'ish. So I'm going to side with statistics here and take the Browns to win a fun one with Baker running in the GW TD with under a minute to go showing the world that he is for real'ish. Browns win 31-27.
A lot of people are nervous about this game for Green Bay from what I've been reading. People are saying that picking GB to cover here is tricky, but fuck that noise. Aaron Rodgers is going to SHRED the defense of Minnesota here and there is no way with or without Dalvin Cook that the Vikings can keep up with Rodgers. The question is if Aaron Jones will play, but I'm confident enough in Jamaal Williams and well, to be honest, Aaron Rodgers is the reason I know the Packers will win. MVS has his best game of the season, because apparently he only shows up against Minnesota and puts up 7/125/2 and GB win comfortably. GB wins 38-17.
Joe Burrow is the MAN! That defense, not so much. Motherfuckers cost me money because I bet on a Higgins TD/Cincy win last week and my heart was broken at the end. For some reason, I had this hope that AJ Green was going to catch that Hail Mary at the end because that's a Browns way to lose, but instead someone named People-Jones catching a GW TD is just a Bengals way to lose. Burrow will do his thing like usual, but the pressure of Tennessee is going to force Burrow into some turnovers and plenty of sacks. Tennessee should've, could've beat Pitt last week and I know they're pissed. For fantasy purposes, start your Bengals because garbage time blowouts are always fun to watch for fantasy purposes. Derrick Henry is going to go for over 200 yards again and a pair of TD's. Tannehill is going to carve them up. Tennessee will score a defensive TD. Titans score the most points of any team this week and win big. Titans win 52-21.GOTW is clearly Baltimore/Pittsburgh and I CAN'T WAIT! I've been hard on Baltimore, because Lamar hasn't looked great. I've been high on Pitt, because of that DEFENSE. But this is not going to be no shoot out. Forget Lamar, forget Big Ben. This is going to be a good ol fashioned Baltimore and Pittsburgh slobberknocker! I think these two teams split their season series this year, but I'm going to go with the home teams in both. 3rd and goal from the 8, Lamar scrambles trying to run in a GW TD, but has TJ Watt in his face about to crush him. Having no choice and no timeouts left and not enough time, Lamar miraculously throws the ball to the corner of the end zone and hits Dobbins, yes JK motherfucking Dobbins~! for the GW TD with 10 seconds to go in the game because that's just how these fucking games end! The undefeated season comes to an end for Pitt on a crazy finish and the rivalry continues! Baltimore wins 20-17.Justin Herbert is the real deal. A lot of people on PW have talked about it, but if not for Burrow he would be the MVP. Fresh off of his first NFL career victory, he goes into a rivalry game against a not so good Drew Lock and not so good Denver Broncos squad. I can't imagine the running game getting going for the Chargers here as they couldn't even get it done against Jacksonville's poor run D so I am expecting another monster performance from Justin Herbert. He'll throw an interception, but he's throwing for 2 TDs and running in another one in this game. The Broncos try to keep it close, but Drew Lock sucks so he'll throw a back breaking interception to end the game. On 3rd and 7 with 2:15 left, Justin Herbert goes with play action instead of handing it off to Joshua Kelley to try and get the 1st down and end the game and he hits the always reliable Keenan Allen for exactly 7 yards to end the game with his arm. The Chargers kneel the ball 3 times to end the game and John Elway wonders why he keeps picking the wrong guy. Chargers win 27-23.
My goodness the Bears suck. Anthony Miller getting that TD broken at the end of the game was HEARTBREAKING for me and cost me $600. Nick Foles looked awful against the Rams and so did that O-Line. New Orleans D has been beatable this season, but I have no faith in thinking Nick Foles can do it. The Bears D will keep this close as the Saints will be without Michael Thomas (again; PS- WHAT A FANTASY BUST!). However, in the end Nick Foles fails to get them into the end zone as the Saints D makes the stops when it matters. All of a sudden, the Bears don't look like playoff contenders and the Saints set their sights on the following SNF showdown against the Buccaneers in what will be the GAME OF THE FUCKING SEASON~! Saints win 21-13.
After that thriller with Seattle/Arizona, you have to wonder how Seattle is going to come into this game against SF who is coming off of a dominant performance. My opinion is that Russell Wilson continues to prove why he is the MVP this season and finds a way to win this one with or without Chris Carson. If Carson is out of this game, I expect this to be a Russell Wilson showcase and that game that shows everyone why he is the MVP. SF has too many injuries to overcome Russ when he gets hot and I can't see the Seahawks not shaking off that last loss coming into this important game. Plus, I believe that the Niners are the 4th best team in this strong division. There's only so much George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk are going to be able to do this game. Give me Russ. Seahawks win 34-27.
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:
My goodness this game is going to suck! I'm not even going to go too in depth with this one. Carson Wentz has quieted all the early season criticism and that tie game against Cincinnati ended up being GENIUS for the Eagles. Dallas will be starting a bum, or in Blindys mind maybe SOTN, but there's no way I can see THIS Dallas Cowboys team winning the game. The Eagles are definitely going to need to play better then they did against the Giants, because they can't have Evan Engram save them every game. They might be without Miles Sanders again, but it wont matter. Jaelon Reagor makes his return for the Eagles and lights the Cowboys D up for 150 yards and 2 TDs because that is the type of shit that happens to the Cowboys this season. Heck, if this beat down is so bad Mike McCarthy might even get fired. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here in primtime. Close enough game, but Dallas can't get into the end zone at the end turn the ball over on downs and lose the game. Eagles win 24-17.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:
Call me crazy and call me insane. Tampa Bay being -10.5 favorites makes me horny to bet.... ON THE GIANTS TO COVER~! I got that same feeling I got when I bet on Nick Foles to beat Tom Brady a few weeks ago and I'm doing it again! Well, not all the way. There is no way the Giants win this game, but they do not lose by double digits. I think the Giants end up blowing this game in the end again as TB12 leads a GW drive that ends with a TD pass to the one and only Rob Gronkowski. Leaving just over a minute on the clock for Daniel Jones, he is unable to get that Eli-magic and like usual, fumbles the game away when King Kong Suh rips him in half. The Buccaneers will win, but it wont be dominant. Maybe they have their focus on the Saints game the following week, but in the end, the Bucs win because of a GW drive orchestrated by The GOAT. Give me the Giants covering! Buccaneers win 24-21.

I'm looking forward to tonight's game. The best part about TNF is the opportunity to see the teams that are usually buried deep on the 1pm slate. The Panthers have quietly been one of the most interesting teams of the year - I certainly didn't expect much of them but Teddy has really outperformed, and Robby Anderson has been a great signing, and Mike Davis has obviously deputised very admirably for McCaffrey. One area that does look like a problem for them this week is the secondary where Juston Burris and Rasul Douglas are both out trying to defend against Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones (who didn't play in the first game between the two teams). They really need to win tonight to keep any designs of being able to sneak into the playoffs with the Chiefs and Bucs up next.
I think everyone agrees with what Kid posted before about the Falcons being far better than their record suggests - they really should be at least level with Carolina at 3-4. Fortunately for them the Panthers are barely better at closing out games than they are, Bridgewater taking a very costly sack on third down leading to a missed 65 yard FG attempt to tie late against the Saints.
I think this one will definitely be close into the fourth quarter and just depends on who makes the costly mistake.

URGH CONSERVATIVE COACHING Atlanta absolutely carve up the Carolina zone defence and then decide to kick a field goal at the goal line instead of going for it on fourth down.
I finally remembered to watch the scouts feed with DJ and Bucky this week. Nice to get a different perspective for a change.

That's why you don't kick the field goal. Couple of stupid penalties by the Falcons defence gives the Panthers a little bit of juice. Nice start by Davis.
