That Bucs defense just had so many soft cushions, credit Danny Dimes for that epic late drive. Great play by Winfield Jr, timed that perfect. Didn't even look at the ball, purely played the target

Sucks wanted to see NYG to 2 wins, leaving just 2 dancers at the party with 1 or less. Ah well.

Gallman wounded up a half point short of me catching a great comeback in the keeper league. Damn.

My takeaways from this week:

1- Saints/Bucs. CANT WAIT! I know we already saw this once but now the superstars come to play and it’s going to be EPIC. What’s even more exciting is that my dream SB of KC/TB is played Week 12! Can’t wait for that either. Can’t believe I didn’t realize that shit until now. Flex that shit to Primetime!

2- The Packers still can’t stop the run on good run teams and that’s going to be a problem. They’re blessed with dealing with the crap in their division like Montgomery and AP but what Dalvin did to them should remind them of what SF did to them (TWICE) last season. SF is playing this Thursday with a bunch of jobbers so GB should whoop their asses. Very excited to see if they pull the trigger on Will Fuller to give Rodgers more weapons. Will also keep my eyes out on the COVID situation with Dillon and possibly Jamaal Williams. Could affect our Thursday match up that would’ve been so much more awesome had Kittle not got injured for the season. Ugh.

3- Cam Newton is finished. It’s funny that I’m seeing the same talking heads blaming his supporting cast on his failures this season AFTER mentioning how he has had this sort of supporting cast his whole career in Carolina. The dude lost the game for the team by fumbling this past week. No matter what they do to the Jets this Monday Night, I think we are seeing the end of Cam Newton.

4- I will say this every single week until he wins a Super Bowl, which he won’t, but Lamar Jackson FUCKING SUCKS. All those comparisons to Michael Vick are absolutely accurate. Why? Because Michael Vick never won a Super Bowl either. Ball hogging and flashy is not good enough to win it all. He’s now failed to produce against KC and Pitt and has shown the world that no matter how good his defense is, he can’t beat the great teams. Even Hollywood Brown is pissed off because the ‘souljas ain’t getting the ball.’ Let’s see how he does against the stout Indianapolis D this week. I’m genuinely curious how he performs against them. My guess right now is not good enough to change my mind on him.

5- The Chicago Bears are wasting this awesome defense. It’s a damn shame too. They wasted the Urlacher era too and even though they made the Super Bowl then, they won’t with this team. Maybe they thought Nick Foles with his winning pedigree could be good enough but it’s clearly not. Matt Nagy needs to go after this season and no matter how tough that decision feels, it’s a must. Wasn’t he called an offensive guru when he was hired? A Tight End whisperer? The offense can’t do nothing out there and if Chicago doesn’t want to waste the Mack Era they need to make that tough choice and get rid of this guy. Unfortunately they can’t go back in time and draft Watson or Mahomes over Mitch so it’s time to figure it out elsewhere.

6- Joe Burrow is incredible. The dude is a legend in the making. Watching what he is able to do with a poor O-Line filled with back ups is amazing. Them beating Tennessee was stunning, but it’s all Joe Burrow. Give this guy an O-Line and he will take over the AFC North once Big Ben retires.

7- Speaking of Tennessee; yikes. That trade for King is big but this team had the perfect get right game after the loss to Pitt and looked dreadful. They get another get right game this week against the Bears but they need to let Derrick Henry win it for them. The Bears Run D is their weakness and they can’t let Tannehill think he can Superman the Bears.

8- The Giants are so much better then the Jets and if they had Saquon Barkley, they would have won the NFC East this season. They play with heart but Daniel Jones makes too many mistakes. He’s going to need to cut it down next season and I really like Joe Judge as the future of this Giants team.

9- I’m on the Chiefs dick so much, you can call me a condom. They were MASTER CLASS on offense against the Jets. Patrick Mahomes is the greatest QB I have ever seen. He’s unbelievable. He’s the Michael Jordan of the NFL. GET USED TO IT! Mahomes vs CMC this week gives me such a swollen cock, you can get me a condom! Ah, circle of life.

10- Trade deadline is tomorrow. I am so anxious to see what transpires and I expect the Houston Texans to be the biggest story. Who will go? Duke? Cobb? Stills? Fuller? JJ Watt? I’m excited for tomorrow.

Watt is off the table. I think the Texans want a 2nd for Fuller, but he's a free agent in the off-season so whoever pays that would really be overpaying. It can only be a contender with a desperate need for a receiver. Either Green Bay pay it or he stays put.

6 hours left into the deadline and I’m really hoping Fuller doesn’t get traded. Yes it would be great for football with Rodgers having Fuller to throw to but as a fantasy owner, I want Fuller to remain in Houston and be a target hog.

Cal McNair is talking about the Texans season still being alive. Either he's clever and trying to get Green Bay to cough up the 2nd, or he's deluded. I don't mind it though, it's a big change from O'Brien showing his hand all the time. I do wonder if he'll take a 3rd and 7th with minutes to go, though. Because the Texans are dead. Don't keep them on life support, move on.

It’s going to be a price to pay but the Packers also need to look at their window , we also have a few extra mid round comp picks that can help make up for an extra pick having to be thrown it.

Knowing we can’t resign him does suck but I’d still like to take a shot , how many times can a 3rd and 4th round pick be the difference in a potential super bowl trip.

I think this could be likely, albeit not Crowder per say. If there's internal debate over Fuller, they may settle on a lesser, cheaper player. I think it would be a mistake. Fuller is not elite, but he does transform an offense. Watson is leading the league in YPA on a 1-6 team. A lot of that is Watson being brilliant, a lot of it is Fuller. Green Bay should do it. Now is not the time to get trigger shy.

Fucking Mark Murphy. I seen that report and those were my exact words.

I get he needs to always look towards the future and selling seats and blah blah blah so keeping a consistent 10-6 team is good for business for him but sometimes you have to take the chance and try. Like 30-40% of second round picks are viable starters anyways ... give one up if it even gets you a 10% chance at the Super Bowl.
