Williams doesn't care, he had his defense lead the league in personal fouls so he just wanted to mess the team up, in particular Gase and his father in law Joe Vitt who got thrown onto his coaching staff despite Bountygate and all. And Lamar Jackson went undrafted because of his lack of makeup speed so having him out there on an island with no cushion playing against a guy who can pull a 4.27 40 yard dash in his sleep is garbage and not on Jackson. Jackson could have held Ruggs or tackled him but it was too late and Ruggs got too far out for Jackson to react, he bit on the double move and was too far back to hold or interfere. No safety help, no playing 5 back, nothing. He can't cover someone as fast as Ruggs honestly, not without a cushion.

You’re making my point , he bit on the double move which was fucking stupid. There is no reason to bite on that when the Raiders can’t throw underneath in that situation. There is zero reason to ever bite.

Yes Williams deserves 92% of the blame for putting them in a terrible situation but Jackson still made a terrible play and showed zero situational awareness.

I was furious at the Jets for coating me $1200 BUT I had them in a parlay with Seattle winning too so it wouldn’t have mattered. I just picked the wrong NY team to pull off the upset.

Not saying that they should be favored or would 100% beat the Chiefs , they would probably still lose but Stefanski is a better coach than Fangio and they do have the type of team that could give KC trouble because of what they are best at.

49ers had a pretty good running game last year. Bring Baker on.

Nah the defense is about the same, if anything it’s more consistent than last years. The first half of last season we had a spectacularly bad run defense. Now we have a “well it’s manageably bad” run defense.

Would like to have Thornhill back to himself so we could see less of Dan Sorensen in coverage but beggars can’t be choosers.

What a win for the Giants. With all turmoil near the end of Tom Coughlin's tenure and beyond, beating the Seahawks was the biggest win in years.

Maybe but I won't hang it on some 21 year old kid on that, I don't think he should have had to bail out what was back to back plays of bringing in the heat unnecessarily up 4. I would have liked to see him at least hold Ruggs to avoid that but even then that's 5 yards or more on a play that should have never happened. Jets had 2 timeouts, Gase or someone on the defense should have called a timeout and ask WTF are we doing in this formation if anything but nobody has authority to overrule Gregg Williams there given his pedigree and authority of full control of defense.
