They did an incredible job with the show. I was moved on several occasions. I loved how they involved the little boy in the front row throughout the night. The stuff with MJF, the dream team main event. AEW just did a wonderful job with this show. I think it's the best wrestling show I've seen since before the pandemic began, and I don't really think it's close.

Extremely classy and touching show by AEW. The man deserves every honour he can get. I'm still in disbelief that he's gone.

Amazing Brodie Jr booked what may have been the best show of any promotion on the entire year. I would have him book more often if I am Tony Khan, that isn't even a joke. I think a kid throwing together these dream matches sort of gives you a look that is lost in today's product. That card was put out because he wanted to see it and wanted it, not for any other reason.

The whole show was Khan's doing and his passion project.

I've given AEW some tremendous heat over the last year, and respectfully.. they deserved it.
However, this past week AEW have shown to be a class act. I think Lee's death will potentially serve as the fire AEW need to be better. It will give them purpose moving forward. The utmost respect for Cody and co for how they've handled a very difficult time and the support they've shown Brodie's family speaks volumes.
The critism towards WWE, particularly from Brian Myers is uncalled for. I'd personally feel embrassed if I was Major Brother #2 right now. In all due respect to Brodie, he wasn't an Eddie Guerrero type performer. He didn't have the legacy or impact on the WWE many much higher calibre/tenured performers did. It was fitting, if not WWE went beyond their normal RIP routine due to how respected Harper was backstage.
I've critised Brodie Lee's character in AEW and The Dark Order.. and respectfully, they deserved it. But I have grown to respect the man behind it after what I've been reading and seeing the past week.
Wrestling needs more men like Jon Huber.

Yeah, not sure what Brian Myers expected, both Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero were employed by the company when they died (as far as ten bell salutes go, I'm pretty sure their the only ones to get one). Honestly, I think the WWE did more than enough, considering he was working for a rival company.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez were also disgraceful on their radio show trying to claim that WWE didn't do anything on Raw because of politics, which then led to Alvarez using that platform to mention that he was salty over not getting an NXT awards ballot.
Absolute cunts. Dave Meltzer needs to go to an old folks home. His mind is gone.

Both men have a very limited place in the business. I can't think of any other 'sport' where we turn to a fan for their insight into the business and actual give it weight.

No, but opinions of some 'fans', or critics, are well respected in entertainment. Film, TV, theatre, music. Pro-wrestling is definitely in that category more than sports.

WWE will likely do something longer down the line as a bunch of people are missing from that spoke on twitter. Likely was put together with whoever was around Monday.

Add Disco Inferno to that list of dickheads pushing a covid death narrative.

Def was not COVID. COVID he would have been treated with the shit that Trump and the politicians get and been back after a month doing public service shit about it. He also had like none of the risk factors to actual die of COVID.
I am baffled as to what it was, as JR just reported in the end it was double lung failure and so bad that he would not survive a transplant. Pulm embolism is off the table if it hit both lungs. If it was cancer they found it WAY late for both lungs to be destroyed. Thinking this was something rarer than people are bringing up.
