With the 31st pick in the 2010 NFL Redraft the Indianapolis Colts select Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
The Colts would have been absolutely ecstatic that Bulaga fell down to them at the bottom of the first round. Indy's offence was obviously one of the best around at this stage, Peyton had just won MVP, he had a great set of wide receivers and tight ends - but the line was the clear weakness. They would find Castonzo in the following year's draft to play left tackle for the next decade, but getting Bulaga here would instantly fix their rotating cast of journeymen who started at right tackle for the next few seasons. Ryan Grigson's inability to protect Andrew Luck was one of the biggest personnel errors of the period, and obviously led to his premature retirement. Had Bulaga been wearing the horseshoe helmet prior to Luck's, I'm sure it would have proven felicitous.
The New Orleans Saints are on the clock...

With the Final Pick in the 2010 redraft , the Saints select:
Golden Tate , WR , Notre Dame
Colston was still there but Devery Henderson belonged more as just a guy to stretch defense and not playing every snap. Tate would have been a perfect slot guy that would have been a great fit for Brees as a do it all guy. I think his career would have been incredibly different as well.
Plus the Golden dome to the Golden dome.

Love that Golden Tate pick.
Definitely makes up for the Gronk pick.

dam I thought @admin was a Victor Cruz fan. Him and Villanueva shocked me not getting in the first round, no love for the UDFA's.

I am obviously, but he wasn't around long enough to make it into the first round. We didn't pick Eric Decker either and he'd be ahead of Cruz in the pecking order. Villanueva also has career length going against him as he didn't start playing until 2015 - plus there's the factor that I don't think he's good.

I think too at least with some picks , especially towards the end it was based a bit on what COULD have been if these guys went somewhere else. No question in my mind that Decker may have had higher highs than Tate but he would have been a beast playing in that Saints offense. Little bit the same with Hughes in a Wide 9. I would have been curious.

Decker had a strong 2015 season with NYJ, his problem was he could not stay healthy and cared more about reality TV than he did the game sometimes it felt like.
Takeaway here is only 1 QB went, speaks volumes as to how bad this draft class was with QBs.

2011 only has like one 1st rounder , but he is probably remaining the #1 pick so at least there is that.
Looking further into 2011 - we could probably go two rounds of notable players. We won't but there is enough depth there to easily do it. Shit TWO undrafted players in 2011 could have been Top 20 picks in 2010 with Harris and Baldwin.

He had me until he hooked up with Tomi Lahren :laughy: The Favre of the 2010's.
