With the 32nd pick in the 2021 NFL Mock Draft , the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Jayson Oweh , Edge , Penn State As the defending champions , the Buccaneers aren't a team with a ton of dire needs but a team can never have enough athleticism and pass rush on defense and can always look down the line. Oweh is the perfect prospect for them to sit and learn from a fellow physical phenom in JPP and take over next season when JPP turns 33. They could look at a receiver here as well with Brown not coming back (yet) and Godwin on the franchise tag but there is a ton of value to be had there in the second round and athletic freak edge rushers in the mold of Oweh are rare to come by. @admin and the Jaguars are OTC with the first pick in the second round!

Chiefs seem locked in at OT with Fisher & Schwartz gone (at the moment) and Remmers probably being suited at RT means Mahomes needed this pick. Would not shock me if they double down early in the draft with a guard or even another tackle as a project. Good pick, 6 OTs out in round 1.

Crazy the amount of tackles to go in the first round , I think that's probably where the Chiefs go as well but who knows. They could draft a few different places depending on what falls.

With the 33rd pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa I'd be surprised if Collins makes it out of the first round, but if he were to make it this far I think teams at the top of the draft would be very happy. The Jaguars would be one of those, even if linebacker isn't the worst part of their defence. They've gone on a signing spree in free agency adding experience all over their defence, but the recent acquisition of Damien Wilson is really the only move they've made at linebacker which suggests it's an area they'll be looking at in the draft. There's a chance they go to a 3-4 defence so numbers will be needed around Myles Jack and Joe Schobert. Collins is a real "quarterback of the defence" type with all the tools and ability. He could be a focal point in restoring the Jags defence back to where they were when they made a run to the AFCCG in 2018. The New York Jets are on the clock Blindy

With the 34th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the NY Jets select OG Wyatt Davis out of Ohio State I think had he not gotten hurt in the title game vs Alabama, Wyatt Davis may sneak in late round 1 but he's the perfect spot here. Considered the top OG barring any of the tackles getting converted, Davis is a mauler who will instantly help Zach Wilson from a pass protection standpoint and will down the line be a massive upgrade over both Alex Lewis(LG) and Greg Van Roten(RG), whoever is struggling day 1 will be overtaken by Davis as he comes back from his injury. I mentioned this on PDuh's podcast the other day, we need to bolster the mediocre interior OLine and for our running game to open and for Wilson to not get popped by a 300+ DT, the attack on IOL is next to cornerback and now QB for a top 3 need. May be ready to step in Day 1 but may also get to learn the game a little and take over asap at one of the guard spots. Rock him next to Becton and watch that left side maul folks. 49ers OTC pduh !

With the 35th overall pick the 49ers select Texas, Edge Joseph Ossai Can’t rely on Dee Ford due to his health issue need some depth at the pass rush off the edge drafting Joseph Ossai could be Ford replacement down the road a pair with Ossai and Bosa could be scary for years to come. UT Atlanta Falcons are OTC!

With the 36th pick in the 2021 NFL PW Mock Draft , the Atlanta Falcons select: Joe Tryon , Edge , Washington The amount of value at edge and at linebacker in the second round is crazy. I had to choose between Tryon and another player I think is falling WAY too far right now but I just think that getting an Edge like Tryon who never has to come off the field and can make an impact his first year on the defense is a big deal. The Falcons got their toy in Pitts in the first round and now they need to work on that defense and Tryon is a great first step and one of my favorite "can't miss" prospects in the draft. The Bengals and KING KID are OTC

With the 37th pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select: WR Rashod Bateman out of Minnesota. Give Joe Burrow protection in Round 1. Check. Give Joe Burrow a weapon in Round 2. Check. I know there are some mocks that have Cincy going with Elijah Moore in the 2nd round but I’m going with the bigger guy from Minnesota. The speed difference (4.32 to 4.39) ain’t much. The size and durability outweigh that. (5’9/178 to 6’2 210). Surround Burrow with Boyd, big dawg Higgins and this man Bateman and Cincinnati is setting up Joe Burrow and their organization extremely well. I love these first two rounds for the Bengals if it goes this way. Blindy and the Miami Dolphins are on the clock.

Bateman is a really good pick. Heck of a 3 WR group in Cincy. Bengals tried to get their WR this offseason but failed in doing so.

I like the Bateman pick for Cincy too , Moore is another favorite of mine but he seems like he might be more of a slot guy at first and I think Boyd is already really good out of the slot. Bateman and Higgins on the outside and Boyd in the middle is a hell of a trip and I think Bateman is more than capable of being productive from the jump.
Also a steal at this point.

With the 38th pick in the draft, the Miami Dolphins select Carlos Basham Jr., Edge, Wake Forest UniversitySince the Dolphins addressed their needs for an offensive weapon & OL help in the first round, I've decided to address the other side of the ball with their first pick in the second round. After doing some research, it seems that edge defender is their biggest need on defense. I would've went Joe Tyron here but he was stolen by the stupid ass Falcons. Instead, I draft the very experienced Carlos Basham out of Wake Forest. This will give Coach Flores a defensive weapon to play around with on an emerging defense. OTC Lions @admin

Yeah they can def. use pass rusher, Basham might make it to late round 1, think he blew his pro day up. A lot of good pass rushers falling off the board in early round 2.

There's one player sitting out there right now with some incredible value , some places have him as a Top 12 prospect in the draft and he's rarely outside of the Top 25 range. The Lions would be hard pressed to pass on him now. Curious as to where @admin goes.

With the 39th pick the Detroit Lions select Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah, LB, Notre Dame If you guys are going to keep ignoring these linebackers then I'm going to keep picking them up! I've seen this connection made in a few mocks that have the Lions trading back from #7 to later in the first round, but there are also some doubts about JOK's lack of size to be a NFL linebacker, so this feels like a good spot. I think he's in that safety hybrid category a little bit like Isaiah Simmons last year which has an inconsistent track record, but he's definitely a versatile player who really stood out on some of the ND games I watched last season. Both LB and S are huge holes for the Lions who are very talent poor on defence. The Carolina Panthers are on the clock UT

Yup there he is , I don’t see that actually happening in a few weeks but if it does it might be the steal of the draft. Certainly the steal of the mock. Heard a few comps of him to a Derwin James.
Should have just taking him with the Packers.

With the 40th pick in the 2021 PW Mock Draft , the Carolina Panthers select Jamin Davis , LB , Kentucky I'm going to go ahead and pretend like the Panthers took Devonta Smith in the first round and not a QB since the Darnold trade , which is cool too because linebacker is arguably the worst position group on paper for Carolina. I would have taken JOK here as well had HR passed on him but I'm more than happy to fill the Panthers need with another kid who fell a little bit and in some opinions - could rise as early as the first round. He is a prototype for a 2021 linebacker in his size and speed and vision with the ability to also make a difference in the passing game and he should only get better and better with more experience. I think he could be a Darius Leonard type out of the second round and make an impact for the Panthers right away on defense. Another dude I wouldn't mind the Packers looking at late in the first round depending on who's off the board. Blindy and the Broncos are OTC to take another receiver.

With the 41st pick, the Denver Broncos select an offensive player........... RB Javontae Williams out of North Carolina Yes another positional player. Ultimately, I think the 1st round choice goes to Parsons or a MLB as it's a massive need but with the two guys going ahead of me here, Paton may be tempted to move on up to get Davis or JOK but it doesn't happen here. Enter Williams, apart of a two pronged RB duo with Michael Carter that was pure nastiness for the Tar Heels all season long. Williams is considered the more dynamic of the two and more versatile and Denver will welcome that with Philip Lindsay cut and off to Houston and Melvin Gordon being iffy at best on and off the field(Though that was pardoned). Having a younger back like Williams coming in and ready to roll is massive to take the pressure off Drew Lock and it seems a tad bit of a luxury pick admittedly for Denver with LB not going address but value goes over need and RB is still a big hole on this roster as we speak. No more excuses for Drew Lock with 2 of the 4 big bad Bama WRs in Smith/Jeudy, Sutton returning, Tim Patrick and now Williams running havoc in the backfield. J Williams will be a mega fantasy star and for a head coach with arguably the hottest seat of em all, Vic Fangio needs impact players right now. Giving Shurmur this back is going to be a help. KING KID Dallas OTC

That's weird , I copied and pasted mine from somewhere but clearly not ESPN.
The Broncos definitely need a running back. Interesting in the new post Darnold scenario if they take Lance and then Williams and revamp their entire backfield.

The Dallas Cowboys select: OT Liam Eichenberg out of Notre Dame. The Cowboys should be addressing their defense again but I think they start to worry about the years ahead for Dak and that new shiny contract. You got defense first round, you go and try and take care of the present/future with this second round pick. I know Blindy likes any Irishmen who gets drafted so he’ll be happy with the pick here. @admin and Big Blue are on the clock.

The New York Giants select Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss Moore costing the Rebels the 2019 Egg Bowl with his urinating dog TD celebration is one of my favourite CFB memories - that's the type of guy I want on my team! If the Giants don't take a WR in the first round I think he would be a great fit for what they need to add to the receiver group, a shifty guy with some real speed. His size seems to have him pegged as a slot receiver but that's exactly what the Giants need - Sterling Shepard has become a defacto slot but he's not actually particularly effective there. Moore is quicker and more dynamic which will allow Shepard and Slayton to play on the outside where they're better. There's also the cool connection of an Eli from Ole Miss which has worked plenty well in the past. KING KID is back up with the Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles select: LB Nick Bolton out of Missouri. I know the Eagles got some mock drafts going for a WR this year. If they don't get it in the first round, they should get it in the second round. Right? WRONG. With Bateman and Moore both off the board, the Eagles need to continue drafting up that defense. Instead of trying to build a new look offense with Jalen Hurts as the QB, put together a defense good enough around him that can put him at a space where all he needs to do is be careful to not lose the game. Bolton can turn out to be a stud and a steal for the Eagles here. UT and the Pimple Faced Chargers are on the clock.

There are still good receivers left. Terrace Marshall is probably a solid pick too and brings exactly what the Eagles need. Don't know that I could have skipped on one there , especially if they are content on building around Hurts and seeing what he has to offer.
