With the 45th pick in the 2021 Mock Draft , the Los Angeles Chargers select: Tommy Tremble , TE , Notre Dame More Golden Domers for the Blindman! The Chargers lost Henry in Free Agency and need to replace that production and keep their young stud quarterback stocked with weapons. Tremble isn't quite the receiver or open field threat Henry was but he is an astronomically better blocker and more than capable of taking advantage of the seams and has the toughness to take a pass in the flat and rumble for some extra yards. Overall he's an upside prospect as receiver but should be a contributor day one and stay on the field every snap with his versatility in the run and pass games.

There are still good receivers left. Terrace Marshall is probably a solid pick too and brings exactly what the Eagles need. Don't know that I could have skipped on one there , especially if they are content on building around Hurts and seeing what he has to offer. I hear that but I feel like they got Raegor last year and saw something out of Fulgham. They do still have Goadert and for the time being Ertz. I like the idea of Philly building a defense first before giving Hurts all the weapons he needs. You don't need to grab a WR in the 2nd round if you're the Eagles. If you want a game changing WR, you do it in the first round.

With the 46th pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars select TE Pat Freiermuth out of Penn State
Considered the 2nd best TE all around this draft class after Pitts, Jags have the former Nittany Lions TE coach doing the same job so this seems like a real easy fit and pick here. Help TLaw with a TE year 1 and further the weapons down in Duval. Feel like there is a heavily drop off after this in TEs so Jags don't run any risk and get the player that fits well for them here.

There’s a ton of guys here who could be a stud. They weren’t in position in the first round with all the top guys off the board but once you get here you can still draft for upside. Marshall is one of the main guys.

With the 47th pick in the 2021 NFL Mock Draft , the New England Patriots select: Terrace Marshall Jr. , WR , LSU Time to put my money where my mouth is on the guy I was just touting. The Patriots did a ton to add to their passing game in free agency but they shouldn't be done yet , especially with someone like TMJ and his upside on the board. Even with the addition of Agholor they could still add speed and TMJ has an abundance of that running a 4.38 at 6'4" and 200 pounds. He has a rare combination of size and speed and it translates well to the field by catching a TD once every four receptions since 2019. A true homerun threat the Patriots have lacked since probably the days of Randy Moss and someone who can change an entire offense because of teams needing to respect his deep ball ability.

With the 48th pick the Arizona Cardinals select Ifeatu Melifonwu. CB, Syracuse Arizona added Malcolm Butler in free agency but they're still thin at cornerback after losing Patrick Peterson. Melifonwu is the tallest and rangiest of the corners that will be taken in the top half of the draft and I think that's why he makes a good fit for the Cardinals because their three incumbents are all under 6 foot. Vance Joseph likes his corners to play zone coverage (which was part of the problem with P2) which suits Ifeatu's length and leverage. KING KID is up with the Raiders

With the 49th pick in the NFL Draft, the Las Vegas RAIDAHHHHHHHZZZZZ select: OT DILLON RADUNZ out of North Dakota State Look at that bad motherfucker. His face and body posture just screams RAIDAHZ. A man that some have said still has room to grow.... PHYSICALLY. An excellent run blocker that will come to a team that will surely be relying on Jacobs/Drake to dominate the run game. Jacobs/Drake is the Raiders attempt at the Chubb/Hunt combo that has worked extremely well for the Browns. If two starting caliber RBs can be unselfish, this could flourish. So why not draft an excellent run blocker? After going defense in the first round and grabbing the excellent Micah Parsons in the first round, this second round pick fills a need on the offensive line. This pick just adds to a great start for the Raiders draft. @theshow and The Miami Dolphins are on the clock!

With the 38th pick in the draft, the Miami Dolphins select Jabril Cox, ILB, LSU I’m continuing to focus on adding depth to Miami’s defense in the second round after Blindy did a great job focusing on their offense in the first round. After taking a pass rusher with their first second rounder, Miami decides to find Kyle Van Noy’s potential replacement by drafting Jabril Cox out of LSU. He was one of the lone bright spots on a pretty lousy defense last year and is great in coverage. The Washington Football Team OTC UT

With the 51st pick in the 2021 PW Mock Draft , the Washington Football Team selects: Kyle Trask , QB , Florida The Football Team were unable to get a quarterback of the future in the first round but they get a swing at one in the second. Trask doesn't have the wowing physical tools as others taken before him which may limit his upside but I have no doubt in my mind he can be a good NFL starter with the right approach to his career. Practically every one of his "flaws" are simple things than can be coached up and would be helped tremendously by sitting behind 54 year veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick for a year. The perfect developmental prospect for a Washington team that needs a QB of the future besides Heinecke. @admin and the Bears are OTC

With the 52nd pick the Chicago Bears select Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue I had to double check I hadn't missed anyone take Moore previously because he's someone that seems to be gaining more and more attention as we get closer to the draft - and it wouldn't be a shocker to see a team take a flier on him in the first round. He's arguably the most exciting and dynamic of this group of undersized gadget/slot receivers in the class with a 4.31 40 time - but at just 5'9 and 180 pounds there will be some doubt about whether he can hold up in the NFL, especially with a bit of an existing injury history. On the flipside to this though is he has runs on the board against quality opposition - 12/170/2 against OSU in 2018. The Bears have been connected to Moore quite a bit, they've reportedly had a number of zoom calls, and the pairing makes sense, Matt Nagy's offence was at it's best in 2018 with Tarik Cohen causing havoc as that - but they just haven't been able to recreate that since for a variety of reasons. Moore is a similar swiss army knife type weapon who can do a lot of damage around the line of scrimmage and would add a lot of juice to the Bears offence. Blindy is up with the Indianapolis Colts

Great pick on Moore! Him and the guy I am about to take up for consideration here. With the 53rd pick, the Indianapolis Colts select DE/OLB Ronnie Perkins out of Oklahoma He's small, and may not be as valued as some of the other pass rushers but the motor and speed he puts forth on the edge is damn impressive and may go a little higher than late round 2 here. Missed 2019 season with an injury but had a solid 2020 year and has done the work the last few months in his workouts to garner the pick here. Colts got OT round 1 but need a pass rush for Eberflus to have fun with, as they have gone down the Justin Houston well again, who is now 32 years old. Perkins hits a massive need in Indy and should be a solid 4-3 DE and help muster a pass rush to try and take Indy to the next level. Dude is very strong and plays like a cannonball being shot out of a cannon. Colts getting OT and EDGE rusher in the 1st rounds is ideal. Give a future head coach a weapon to go after QBs here. Hard to project these things but I think it's more that a small guy like that potentially has a very low floor (Tavon Austin style) rather than a low ceiling. Just feel like there will be a team or two that fall over themselves to get the "next Tyreek Hill" but obviously the spot that he lands will be crucial.

With the 54th pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: CB Aaron Robinson out of Central Florida. With all the worth it WRs off the board, the Titans continue trying to build a better defense by going back to back in the first two rounds. With additions of Dupree and Jenkins, the Titans have made that a top priority. They grab this DOG out of Central Florida who proved to be just that at the Senior Bowl. He started off as a highly recruited freshman for ALABAMA and then transferred over to Central Florida where he could shine. He's a solid option in the nickel and on the outside and is also known as a great blitzer. He might be a bit older then the other ones on the board, but age is experience. Like I said; the dude is a dog! A humble one if you ask people who know him. He might not be the next best rated CB still left on the board, but that heart along with a glue like mentality and a 56.3 completion % allowed; this dude is exactly what the Titans and Vrabel would love to have. He fits the brand and I think he'll have a solid career. Blindy and the New York Jets are on the clock.

With the 55th pick, the Seattle Seahawks select OT/OG Alex Leatherwood out of Alabama (Jets own their 3rd rounder this year!) I've read places where people have been on him for not having tape anywhere remotely as good as 2019 but with COVID and so much going on, it's tough to fully put it on him. There are some holes in his game but the versatility on the OLine where he can be put in 4 spots is massive for a team that despite the Gabe Jackson and Cedric Ogbuehi moves, getting Russell Wilson a RT and having him replace the stinky Brandon Shell is a move needed here. Pass rusher is the other big need given a friggin safety overwhelmingly led them in sacks in 2020 but the pass rushers came and went quick by this point and the protection does get a breath of fresh air with the man who protected Mac Jones blindside on the way to a title win. Still a project, Seattle banks on Leatherwood getting better in an NFL pro condition room and can eventual down the road step on in and be a fixture over at RT. Think he's a safe player even if the ceiling isn't too ridiculously high for him. Also was a huge locker room leader in Alabama and was influential with his BLM protesting from what I have read so given he is replacing Chad Wheeler who is a piece of shit and should be in prison most likely, good move. Ultimately, with the lack of draft capital in this draft, Schneider would be interested in a trade down to get some more Day 3 ammo but alas. It's OLine or EDGE for this team here at pick 55. I guess it depends on who you choose to follow as well because I know some love him , I just worry his ceiling is Tavon Austin and I know some scouts question if he could be more. I have no clue though. Also as for the Bears , it's the second round so no biggie either way but would he really be that much different than Cohen right away? Then again that would be hypocritical of me because I hate when people say you shouldn't draft a player because you have a meddling player in the spot. If you think Moore is a potential all world talent - Tarik Cohen shouldn't stop you.

Well, here goes nothing. As said before, the more I research for this thing, the more depressed I get about the upcoming season and future ones. Anyway, without further ado: With the 24th pick of the 2021 PW Joint Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select... Najee Harris, RB, AlabamaThis feels little outside Steelers tradition, but... fuck it, I think they're entering a transition period here where they might have to break with the status quo and the whole "standard is the standard" shtick. With OLs dropping like flies all of a sudden, namely Vera-Tucker, it became time to pivot. I read an article comparing Najee to a prime Le'Veon Bell, and I liked the memories of the first time we got to watch Bell work his magic. Maybe Bell even comes back in free agency and can help mentor Najee, assuming Bell has matured? Or maybe they can smoke dope together and turn exceed the speed limit racing up McKnight Road. Anyway, I've got my eye on an OL that I'm hopeful I can nab in later round. And I'm praying Randy Fichtner learns a thing or two about how to call a run game (and/or that Big Ben stops audibling out of running plays). Plus, for the Steelers to drop a first round pick on a running back, it's gotta be with last name like Harris to channel that Franco Immaculate Reception juju. Well, to further evidence that I have no idea what I'm doing, let's go with a guy — actually, scratch that. Upon further research, I shouldn't be drafting him this high. So, instead, let's pivot! With the 56th pick of the 2021 PW Joint Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select... Creed Humphrey, OL, OklahomaIn theory, if I'm relying on drafted young blood this upcoming season as the Stillers, I think the O line needs some work to help support Najee "Franco Who?!" Harris. With Maurkice Pouncey being done and gone, there's no new center heir-apparent as far as I can tell. So... Creed Humphrey, aside from having a cool name, seems like a rock solid choice. The words that keep popping up when digging into him are smart, athleticism, and consistency. I especially like that last word. Scuttlebutt has it he might work out better as a guard at the pro level, but that's TBD IMO. Even if he does need to slot over, I think the entire O line is due for a tune-up anyhow. The other guy I was going to pick, just as an FYI so that more knowledgeable posters can help validate whether Humphrey instead was a wiser choice, was Ben Cleveland. Largely because of his monster physique and this video, which made me think of him as an O line Goldberg: [/Twitter] I guess that jag-off UT lateraled the Jax Jags to @admin? Whoever has the reins, AEW's pigskin squad is ON... THE... CLOCK!

With the 57th pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson Cam Robinson has been a meh starter for the Jaguars, he's playing on the franchise tag this season, and having never posted a higher PFF season grade than 63 there's definitely an upgrade possibility. Carman is another one of the OL class who analysts seem split whether they will play tackle or guard in the pros, but I like the fit here having played as Lawrence's blindside protector in college. His biggest weakness seems to be his quickness which could be an issue playing LT, but he could potentially sit for a season and then take over in 2022. Additionally, coming off back surgery seems to have him no higher than this part of the draft, but his size and power at 335 pounds is well worth a shot. UT is up with the Cleveland Browns

With the 58th pick in the 2021 Mock Draft , the Cleveland Browns select: Dyami Brown , WR , UNCOdell Beckham isn't long to last in Cleveland I don't think and the Browns needs help and depth at the position in general. Brown is a homerun threat in the truest form and would be a perfect fit with Cleveland's run heavy offense as he is the type of guy who is going to stretch defenses and/or take advantage of play action over the top. If DPJ continues to develop I could see he and Dyami being great running partners on the outside with Landry working the middle forming a quality trio down the line. KING KID and Baltimore are OTC

With the 59th pick in the draft, the Baltimore Ravens select: WR Nico Collins out of Michigan. Well UT and the Browns fucked up my easy plan of drafting Brown which makes sense from a division stand point. The Ravens need weapons on offense and although Sammy Watkins is a Week 1 stud and the playoff Robert Horry; they can’t avoid the disappearing acts and injuries. Plus Lamar. So they add a bigger type WR with this pick and hope size helps make him a go to target for Lamar. A bit under the radar since he opted out last season, but could end up being a steal here for the Ravens. Size and speed and for a late second round pick. I’ll take it. With the 60th pick in the NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints draft Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M Let’s have some fun with this pick. Yeah he will probably suck but you know who else sucks? Jamies Winston and Taysom Hill. Neither Winston or Hill are the long term answers at Quarterback. Winston will be given the opportunity to have a career resurgence. If he fails here, his days as a potential franchise QB are over. Hill is Sean’s beloved pet project but he is nothing more than a gadget player. Let’s take a chance on a QB with Dak-like upside. Like Dak, he’s a guy who is a multi year starter in the SEC and has played against some of the best defenses in college football. He has not always looked great but he also at times played very well in big games. He has the perfect type of skill set that Sean Payton can mold and turn into a future multi time MVP. Fuck it. Roll the dice and if he sucks, we will draft someone else. By the way, I’d probably draft a linebacker or DT here but what’s the fun in that? The Green Bay Packers are OTC UT

With the 61st pick in the 2021 NFL Mock Draft , the Green Bay Packers select: Elijah Molden , CB , Washington Got one of my draft crushes in the first round and ecstatic that I'm getting one of my others here in the second round. I love Molden , he seems to have a little honey badger in him with his versatility. I think he has the acumen , leadership and smarts to come in and be the perfect extra defensive back in all the subpackages and in a few years would bring a ton of what Hyde did and maybe even have a higher ceiling than that. If the Packers get him in the second round I would lose my shit. He's going to be a dude. Blindy and the Bills are up!
