On today's BTE, Matt Hardy said in a skit that Kenny Omega is a better representative of a pro wrestling company than WWE's top stars & The Young Bucks should've been named as the #1 team by WWE instead of The New Day.

“I just wanted to say that for the longest time, The Hardy Boyz were the greatest tag team of all time, by far, the best tag team in the history of the industry. The most innovative, the most creative, but the Young Bucks, you have officially surpassed The Hardyz as number one. You are future Hall of Famers. You're way better than The Hardyz. More dominant than myself and my brother. The New Day at number one? That's just a WWE mark list. They have to put someone that is employed there. It should have been the Young Bucks because you guys are the greatest of all time, better than The Hardyz. The Hardyz are now number two. I love everything The Elite is doing.

Kenny, you've been killing it. Week in and week out, you are the greatest World Champion going today. I mean, Kenny, you are a better representative of a pro wrestling company than Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton."

A pro AEW agenda would be promoting names like Mox, Kingston, Darby, etc as being world class and noting how Omega is better.

Instead, they've referenced the competition. Several times over. WWE is living rent free in AEW's head.

Ok.. but I get it, there isn't a worker on the AEW roster that could hold a candle next to Reigns in 2021.

Booker T has made some interesting comments of late. While Jim doesn't particularly have love for deathmatch mudshow bullshit. Booker does use Nick Gage as a worker who takes the business seriously. And commented if more worker took the business as seriously as Gage, it might be in a much better place.

Similarly Booker has love for WALTER, as does Cornette. Book notes that " the wrestling business would be in a much healthier place if WWE's roster had "10 Walters" on it. "

So similar themes about taking or portraiting the business seriously.

10? I'd be fine with 5. Eddie Kingston and WALTER have been in the business for decades. You think if they & wrestlers like them were so bent on making wrestling a SERIOUS BUSINESS again like in the 1970s, you'd think they would have retired a while ago.
