I got hooked on Bobby Eaton gifs the other day and decided to make a whole thread out of it. One that is destined to become a favorite of KING KID . Post all your favorite wrestling history gifs here. Limit it to 4 per post. Bobby Eaton continuing to be beautiful... While still finding the time to possibly invent the Diamond Cutter/RKO/Ace Crusher... How is this even possible? Dr. Death: What a badass. And how cool is that Doc/Midnights team?

Just wanna say in terms of top rope moves, a leg drop is VERY underrated. It's essentially a step up from a regular splash in terms of excitement so you don't see it much anymore. We've been conditioned to really only see them leaping off the canvas. Always a bit of a mark out moment for Matt's version with the weird finger guns taunt.

Matt's bow-leggedness always made his leg drops look so interesting... And like he'd land on his hip more than his tailbone. Wonder why Matt was so bow-legged? Vitamin D deficiency as a kid?

That pumpkin headed uggo pulled in Lita and that other hot girl from TNA - I don't think he's lacking in the D. There's got to be something. Anyways - in honor of our latest tag team to show up. One of my favorites I found awhile back searching the internets.

Where do yinz troll n scroll for wrestling gifs? Just Google images? Yep. Just wanna say in terms of top rope moves, a leg drop is VERY underrated. I must confess to sleeping on the top rope leg drop for a LONG time. It all started back in the mid 90s when I became of the fan of the flips. No flips=no buys in those days. A simple top rope leg drop had become old hat. But I have come back around since joining PW. And for what it's worth I always did like Matt's yodeling leg drop. =================== "Double team move" is just the mark way of saying "Midnight Express." Here is the Midnight Express that made the term a thing here in Baker Country... It was officially called the Double Goozle... More Dr. Death being the strongest man in wrestling...

I'd like to turn this into my own little personal pet project of sorts.
Someone name a wrestler, and I'll find and share my 4 favorite gifs featuring them.
Then name another wrestler, and I'll do theirs. Rinse and repeat.
I need direction.

The NJPW Dropkick CompetitionLadies and gentlemen, allow me to present to you two of the finest dropkick specialists in all of pro-wrestling. Which dropkick do you prefer? First up, we have Kazuchika Okada. His dropkick is the definition of grace, athleticism and pinpoint accuracy. Next to take the stand is Minoru Suzuki. You might be surprised to hear Suzuki's name assocated with a typically elegant move such as the dropkick, but here you see that Suzuki launches his body at his opponents feet first like a torpedo. Brutal, yet in its own way beautiful. Who wins?

I like Suzuki's simply because while I know (or assume) his opponent knows it's coming... it almost seems like that's not the case. It's one thing to toss a green shell at someone coming towards you, but his are clearly red.

Man, those are both gorgeous dropkicks in their own separate but equally great ways. Based purely on personal preference, I'm leaning slightly toward Suz at the moment. Good shit, Dr. Emperor!

Nothing beats Okada's dropkick. I love Suzuki's because (like everything else he does) he looks like he legit wants you to die. But Okada's is effortless perfection, like a Michael Jordan fade away jumper. No matter how many times he does it you're just in awe.

Low end fan of Test. I was never a mark, but always enjoyed his stuff even shit like against Steiner he brought a bit of sleazy likeability.
Kurt Angle? Clearly the best moonsault ever. Sorry Lita and Fallen Angel.

Emperor I'm with RT . Suzuki's dropkicks are brutal, but it still doesn't trump the aesthetics of Okada's dropkick. Plus the 1st & 3rd look like a shot to the head. 🤯 Great Brock gifs. 1st is tremendous. 3rd & 4th make him look like a supersized version of a bully from an 80s movie....a jacked Johnny Lawrence. Now I want to run Brock vs. Doc in the next fanfic draft. Do....Brothers of Destruction next. Kilgore 's gif of Rude's tights, also tremendous. ============== Still can't believe I was lucky enough to be in the building for this. Coolest move I had ever seen up to that point. This blew my mind... Continuing the Powerbomb theme here's Judy Martin dripping her opponent dry with the 2nd recorded Powerbomb in WWF history (it was cooler than the 1st) Judy again. This time inventing(?) the Alley Oop over a decade before I would see it a second time... Regular Martin opponent Penny Mitchell with a neat little move somebody should have stolen a long time ago...

^Bob Backlund was freaky strong Big Boy edition BANZAI! I assume the ring crew was forced to scrape that poor jobber off the canvas with an oversized spatula. Akeem looking like a one man gang... King Kong Bundy? More like King Kong Bumpy... Air Big Show...

Do you guys just google for gifs? Because I figured there'd be a million Okada dropkick gifs but it took a pretty decent amount of scrolling for me to find the three that I found. Is it that difficult to find gifs of Test or Bobby Eaton or a wrestler nobody's ever heard of like Judy Martin?

I think @ness beat Baker-man to the punch, so I'll do Kurt first and then Brothers of Destruction. Kurt's moonsaults:

I surprised. With all these cool GIFs, I haven't seen Scott Steiner's Frankesteiner. YET.

Angle's moonsault really is a thing of beauty and that Heenan/Perfect towel gif is *ahem* perfect. Do you guys just google for gifs? Because I figured there'd be a million Okada dropkick gifs but it took a pretty decent amount of scrolling for me to find the three that I found. Yeah. I just google. It's hit or miss. A lot of times I know what I'm looking for. Sometimes I find it and sometimes I don't. So far I've come up empty on... Certain Eaton/Midnight Express spots, Mabel's Big Package, a trademark Tajiri spot I planned on using to segue into a One Man Gang reference, one awesome Vince moment, and the HOG stuff I was looking for. Ludvig Borga and the New Breed have a pathetically paltry gif selection. Pierre/Quebecers is not all it could be either, though I did find one or two worth using. Surprised it took a while to find Okada dropkick gifs. I figured there would be dozens of decent ones available. Also just came up empty on the GREAT Judy Martin throwing Desiree Petersen into a table just to spite Emp. So I'll have to go with the next best thing- a little WOW action... Bronco Billie with a picture perfect 450 Splash BARNBURNER Recycled Riot Arn Anderson being awesome Can't believe we went this long in a gif thread without this staple...
