This impressive feat of strength has to be the highlight of Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli's career...  Baby Batista tries decapitating young Randy Orton with what I thought was the hardest non-Bradshaw clothesline in WWF history at the time...   You could always count on Undertaker for one cool dive per year. Here is perhaps his coolest... Love Arn, but the only move I recognize as a Gourdbuster is the proto-Pedigree performed by "Outlaw" Ron Bass...  #6 on my Scariest Wrestlers list had a nice phony Gourdbuster...  Was going to hold off on this until Flippy Shit Friday before realizing this thread has 2 little 2 Cold Scorpio...

Early in my IWC career before Youtube was all the rage I saw this video on some file sharing site. Was totally convinced when some other mark proclaimed this guy died in the ring. Was it actually HBK or just some long haired jobber? Either way perhaps this was the real reason for 98 rather than the casket?
I used to think this was the spot that ended his career. I think it's the other casket bump though...

How bout we continue the flippy shit? Great thing about this move is even if you botch it you can sell it as a knee drop or headbutt...

@ness The HBK lookalike who got spiked with the Pedigree was a jobber named Marty Garner. He was a member of the Hardy's Carolina clique. Actually remember seeing that in real time. Always stuck with me even before it got internet famous.

I guess I could add Ron Bass on my scary wrestler list, that angle with Beefcake kind of freaked me out. Most hardcore angle of my childhood. I was far from a Brother Bruti fan, but that darn Ron Bass took it about 10 steps too far. I wouldn't see anything like it again until WWF got kind of crazy in 91-92. WWF played it brilliantly too with the CENSORED big red X. I've heard Beefcake only had a trickle of blood in reality. But by not showing it, us kids built it up in our heads as this over the top X rated butchering. WWF used to be so good. My mom only watched the occasional wrestling match with my brother and I. (She was an Ultimate Warrior fan which I find amusing nowadays.) But she happened to be watching during the Bass/Beefcake butchering. I'm a little surprised she let us keep watching after that. Speaking of mom's walking in at the wrong time, my friend Danny was banned from watching wrestling after his mom saw this segment...  The Berzerker's oft-mentioned attempted murder of The Undertaker...  5th Creepiest Wrestler of all time, Nailz, attacks Bossman. Gifs don't really do this one justice. It was an over the top assault lasting like 5 minutes...  4th Creepiest Wrestler of all time, Killer Khan, breaks the rules of wrestling & nature by blowing the dreaded green sputum into poor Outback Jack's face..

Mero gets hate for not being a classically trained wrestler, but was instead trained to play a role. Isn't that what wrestling is for? Like wouldn't they prefer 1 master versus 10 jack of all trades. Master was the boom period starter.
Either that or Vince is an idiot since he wanted Johnny B. Badd but I guess copyright?

Heels Going Too Far: Volume IIWWF goes full horror movie when Jake "The Snake" Roberts turns heel on the Ultimate Warrior in a great angle also featuring...   Another classic angle. This time it's Taker's face turn, which happens to be my favorite face turn in wrestling history. Jake slams his hand in a casket after The Undertaker thinks Jake has become too evil. But 'Taker keeps coming and coming and coming. What a badass...  *Both segments are worth watching in full. Vince is at his best on commentary during most of these segments. He excels at calling this sort of thing. IRS becomes the biggest jerk in wrestling by belting poor Brutus Beefcake's surgically repaired face with a brutal briefcase shot. Too far, man. Way too far  The result of creepy ass Papa Shango's voodoo curse...  *After watching all this greatness, is it any wonder why I have zero time for modern wrestling?

I realize I'm going overboard, but I just can't stop. One more before bed... Heels Going Too Far: Volume IIITed Dibiase's introductory vignettes got him over as the biggest jerk in wrestling. They're all great in their over the top dickishness, but this one in particular stands out as an all time great heel moment. Dibiase was going to give this kid $X00 if he could dribble a basketball 15 times. After 14 he did this...  The moment One Man Gang earned a spot on my Scary Wrestlers list. If he'll do this to a ref, what WON'T he do? He also laid out 3 jobbers in this segment.  =============== Goooooooldberg
