Kid seemed like he could do a promo already. The body matters for the main roster as they do not care if you can promo or not if you got the look.


God this is so weird, it is like they decided the best way to revive NXT was to just make it a small indy show with better lights and 50 feet between the ring and the crowd.


And he was renamed as WWE just lost a bunch of guys to AEW with their names intact.  They will not make that mistake again.

I was thinking wild and crazy kids wrestling I don't know why.

With the technocolor lights off and just a white wash, this arena actually looks really good. It is like an indy show but with production values no indy fed could ever hope to match.

But still freaking weird for WWE to be promoting on TV.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the crowd will react to the makeover.

I just noticed the lights above the ring. I take back everything I said about the arena. They are going to get annoying on camera extremely fast. Once you notice them it is hard not to see them every time.

Is this nXt Dark? Are they now in a war with AEW dark?

Very basic moveset, this would work in the 2000's Divas era. Game has changed though.

With Hitrow, Team Carmelo, and Odyssey Jones, NXT is really pushing black wrestlers. Doing more than AEW in that regard.

I'm actually enjoying the show. It feels new.

I like the look and that they've gone away from dark and gritty, and there's more of a hip hop vibe compared to 1.0.

And, actually seeing new wrestlers is great. I didn't realise how stale 1.0 was.

Yeah surprised she didn't use the X-factor as finisher as well.

The vibe of the arena, colours, and lighting makes me feel like its early 90's. And the rex steiner singlet combined his 'breaker' name.

This feels like they're trying to market to young kids and be cool.

Team Mandy/Gigi/Jacy are awesome.

Dislike Mandy's brunette look, not feeling it. But if she's on TV more, all for it. These three are great.

I think I like this new Mandy.

This show has felt kind of messy so far. It's been ok but not very structured. Like a bunch of random stuff is just happening.

Yeah like the bright vibes and while I am not into the hip hop vibes, it def separates them from every other wrestling show on TV.  And really is a big FU at AEW IMO, as they have four shows now, all with the same look and feel.  

Question is, will it draw better or not.  

AEW may have poked the bear one too many times though.  Vince seems to be taking chances again.  Easy to match a lazy Vince, not so easy to match a Vince who seems to care again.

DAMN!!! That was a nasty looking knee.

That was a really fun 6 woman tag match.

Only complaint was who the fuck thought it was ok to still use Manson music on TV? The dude is facing a series of lawsuits and like no one wants to be associated with him at all musically anymore.

I agree but they had his music played like 1-2 years ago. Sweet Dreams is a Eurhythmics song anyway but yeah IDK why they're going with the Manson version. Surprised Gigi's rolling with it but her name is off GG Allin then again :lol:
