This thread deserves a bump and I also thought of a new one this morning: An ECW faction vs. Right To Censor in WWF. Richards and the group start harassing Paul on commentary for his sordid past with ECW. Paul Heyman has enough and debuts the group as his muscle, exposing Steven Richards as a hypocrite for his own past with the company in a promo. Paul E uses some line like "y'know, back when you were Raven's little bitch" or something like that. That's about as far as I got with it so far. I could be so down for this... Steven Richards, Val Venis, Ivory, Bull Buchanan & The Goodfather vs. Raven, Tazz, Jazz, Justin Credible, and Jerry Lynn! That would’ve been a great way to get some more heat out of RTC after X7 since they mostly just fizzled out after it. Would’ve been a great mid card filler until Invasion happened.

Steve Austin vs. Randy Savage (WM18): I tend to always slot in Goldberg here, but if Hogan is back to face Rock, why not Savage to face Austin. The build up to WM18 could even have an Austin/Rock vs. Mega Powers match, one of those overqualified Raw main events of the Monday Night Wars, and the period just after it.

While I'd agree Austin vs. Savage would be more offbeat, now I'm struggling to not want to book HHH vs. Savage w/ Stephanie in a neutral corner because of her "history" with both men. -_-
