All the talk of the street fight made me remember how hyped people were about The Bunny and Penelope Ford after that tag street fight they had in 2021 and how everyone (including AEW) then immediately lost interest in them.

I wonder if Ruby and Willow will have any better luck.

Two things happened there.

Tay and Sammy announced they were in a relationship after the match, effectively turning Tay into a heel/valet and squandering whatever momentum was gained out of the match.

Penelope Ford later suffered an injury that wouldn't be announced until months later when fans remembered she hadn't been on television in months.

Tay and Sammy is a different kettle of fish, but the latter highlights how important it is to announce these injuries ahead of time and be transparent with the fans. At least that way the fans don't lose faith in the product and they're aware the company is on top of things.

While few are talking about it, this is the best Tay has ever looked as well.

Really happy to see Ruby finally polish her style.

Curious if they keep the Ruby Tay feud going as it is pretty hot right now.

Hayter v Emi match. This is why you keep Japanese girls around. Anyone who spent time in Japan looks like a God fighting them in the Joshi style of big moves and hard hits. Those lariats were sick. As was that fucking backdrop driver.

Oddly enough Emi did really benefit from her time in America too, as she picked up American TV timing and crowd work. Shida did too.

Mark Briscoe announced that at Supercard of Honor there would be a multi-tag ladder match for the vacated ROH Tag Team Championship. They are calling it the Reach For The Sky match.

Lucha Bros are the first entrants.

Oh man that is gonna be fun. And what a great name for ladder matches.

Wonder what Mark is gonna do at that show. Got to be one of those situations where he can pretty much name anything.

Also with Kingston vs Claudio 3 headlining gonna be a hot show.

You know, thinking about this match, how the hell do they book it? Pack with AEW guys? I mean FTR should be in it for sure. Likely will be four teams in this event so who do you bring in that is truly RoH, and not AEW?

Maybe Guerrillas of Destiny and OGK?  That would be three former tag team champions and Lucha Bros.

SoCal Uncensored, Bucks or the Addiction could likely appear.

And could pull the ultimate curveball and bring in the Second City Saints <.<

They fought several times before so it will be a great match. Sure neither are AEW talent, but what a match to open up a PPV. Give them 15 minute and crowd will be so hot.

Me too. But then I saw why the signing/announcement was made. Fans were joking that Billie Starkz was going to get the #AllElite treatment first and suddenly the post was made. :lol:

Fun fact: she's been one of the hardest working women in all of wrestling the past two years. I saw it on wreddit and can't find it but she's like 4th in the world for most matches in that timeframe or something like that. Kid can go.
