Height would hold him back but in terms of manager and personality felt like he could've made it if not a worker. Like for the time in ROH when I first got in, he really felt leagues above everyone and they had some real stars at the time. And then his Chikara stuff was great too. But I really felt like the super agent was just amazing stuff in an era/promotion that just didn't have someone like that.

Larry would have made a great manager. He would bump like a madman & got heat. So happy that I got to meet him in 2009.

His height and weight would have over time let him be an amazing babyface too. He could be the underdog, fighting with traditional wrestling, in a world gone mad.

So jealous, I never got to meet him. Mad King either. Met the rest of my favs sans Mondo: Mamaluke, Lawler, Acid, Jacobs, Rave, Foley, Mercedes.

Well, never met Kudo and Pogo, but neither came to America IIRC.

Never will meet Sweeney though and it does make me sad since he did wrestle CT a bit, and I just did not know about our local scene.

I mean every arena looks the same, and no one watches Main Event anyway. It could have been fun.

Hero was mostly already gone by time I got into it, but of course thanks to things like SMV and torrents I got to relive the later years he was there. I did think the way they put over FIST when Claudio left (and then immediately came back because he's a dumb carny) in a heel vs. heel matchup was pretty good way of doing it.

Ed, @ness, if Chikara was a wrestling stable, it would be the love child of the Blue World Order and J.O.B. Squad. But hey, I can be positive towards Chikara, after all, they had Bob Saget, just like the Squad had BOBCORE.

That was the point of Chikara, fun wrestling. Where else could you see the Powers of Pain face off against Demolition, and 123 Kid and Jannetty in 2012?

Or see Meng in the ring with the Bucks?

Also BWO and Job Squad were both in Chikara.

I know that's the point.

It's why I'm not a fan of Chikara, I don't mind comedy in wrestling, just not a show full of it.

Also, it's a damn shame, Orange Cassidy AKA one of the best things in wrestling today (plus it's comedy in wrestling that's entertaining), spent a portion of his career as a damn ant.

Joins AEW and doesn't do half as much damage to his body and he has a career.

Not had a match yet though on par with the Colony classics.

I also think he is getting bored with Orange.  He is spending less and less time each match in character.  Not be shocked if he totally changes his gimmick again.
