AEW TBS Women's Championship Final - Ruby Soho vs. Jade Cargill

AEW World Heavyweight Championship - 'Hangman' Adam Page vs. Bryan Danielson

It's been a jam-packed week of Pro Wrestling but there's no bigger match than Page/Danielson. Page goes in as the slight favourite, but if ever AEW had the opportunity to swerve the audience, Danielson is that guy and it would open up the title scene dramatically.

If Page does go over, it'll be interesting to see who his next challenger would be. Ordinarily I'd say strike while the iron is hot and go with Cody, but I'd imagine he'll be caught up with the TNT stuff. Jericho is free and the pair do have history together. Jericho doesn't have a ton of momentum but you can trust an old pro to heat himself up. My pick would be Adam Cole since The Dark Order and The Elite have that history together, Cole needs a high profile feud and they're natural opponents. The only knock is that Cole really hasn't done anything to deserve a title opportunity but we've seen instances where guys like Mr. Brodie Lee and Brian Cage have walked into the company, won a qualifier and challenged for the championship so it's easily remedied.

The Lucha Bros face their biggest challenges of their reign in Boy & Luchasaurus. It was something of an upset when they beat them in the qualifying tournament for All Out, since Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus still had a score to settle with The Young Bucks. However the Bros reminded everyone of how good they are and they've defeated all challengers leading up to this match. This seems like the destination for Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus to win their first titles and kick off their year. Jungle Boy in particular has been a long term project and this seems like a smart move for his upward trajectory.

You know I've seen some arguments for Jade winning the TBS Women's Championship, but I don't think she needs to be the inaugural champion. It's important that you can give the championship to somebody you can trust on the mic and in the ring and obviously that's an area Ruby has more experience in. Plus Ruby has this perception about her where she was a job character in the WWE and while she's certainly got a better lease in life over in AEW this feels like the moment to establish her beyond just being a 'good' hand.

I could see CC or the Lucha Brothers turning heel. Something is brewing there.

Wrestling back on the SuperStation. That's a wonderful sight to see.

Expecting a surprise or two tonight. Hopefully something happens. Is it weird that the thing I hope happens most is Jungle Express winning? Fuck I hope they get the titles. They deserve a big win. I love Lucha Bros don't get me wrong, but LET'S GO JE!!
