Sounds like you're just creating strawmen and Cargill winning the secondary women's championship doesn't mean she's a top talent.

I actually support her win. Feel she is just right for a midcard title. AEW has a division of girls who are not really getting showcased much so I hope they get a focus with this title. Also doing a tournament like this, should use it to create a star really, and not just put over someone who already is a star.

But this feels like a pattern we see a lot. People want diversity but do not like the people they opt to push seemingly wanting someone the fed does not have access to or an imaginary ideal.

According to Bryan Alvarez it is indeed broken. He was rushed to hospital last night. Only thing we’re waiting on is how severe of a break it was and if there’s any muscle or nerve damage.

Big Pete what is it you’re curious about the TBS title? I assume it’s on the same level as the TNT title but for women. And in the past Tony Khan has said that they treat the TNT title not as a “secondary” title but “another” title. Something like that I forget the exact quote. He was basically trying to get the point across that a champion is a champion.

If Tony Khan wants to do himself some favours he could double down on that claim and rename the two world titles the “Men’s World” and “Women’s World” to show they’re on the same level. But that’ll never happen.

I don't think you're wrong about that, although I think you and I have different views on what the TNT Championship really represents. I think you and the vast majority see it as the Open Challenge Championship, I see it as the one title Cody can challenge for so he can stay away from the other EVPs. Similarly, Jade Cargill is a Rhodes project that they've dolled out television time to and given her this slow-burn push for the championship. It was clear they had no interest in doing an actual AEW Women's Championship match, so they just made this secondary championship to placate the family. Now what will be interesting is whether the championship gets any major storylines and who that involves. If it involves talent like Brandi Rhodes for instance, we'll know the score.

If Ruby had have won, I would have been less doubtful because Jade would have presumably kept her spot and it would have opened up another spot for the women while giving Ruby something to hang her hat on.

Glad it’s not a break though. Dislocation can still fuck you up pretty bad but it should mean he heals quicker. Thank goodness.

MRI will confirm for Fenix, but if the ligaments are ok, he is back in a few weeks which is fucking crazy.

Shit looked broken, which is why so many went there.  Not many people realize how nasty true dislocations can look.  

I loved Punk costing MJF his match. A heelish thing to do but, this is MJF we're talking about. So fuck him
