Some good news for once. Konosuke Takeshita plans to move to the US when his DDT contract is up. He says his success in AEW is the reason why.

He went on excursion had one Cinnabon and never returned. I would not be surprised if he is the next All-Atlantic champion.

The timeline makes a little bit of sense since not too long ago Tony Khan threatened WWE to stop talking to his guys under contract. 

I don't think Danielson will want out but Murphy I think so given he's dating Rhea Ripley, would be a fish out of water with House of Black gone and was practically running the 205 Live division under Trips. 

Xeno himself said all of that was unconfirmed and after tonight's show looks like utter bullshit.  I mean Black was still advertised for the PPV.  The others rumored to be released competed on the show. 

And Tony still has not granted even MJF his release.  

If there was any legitimacy to these rumours the news would be everywhere.

This sounds about as legitimate as being AEW’s 2x world champ!

Yeah Black's back is in bad fucking shape. It is a career ending injury he has that he is trying to fight through and rehab.  Very likely he needs major surgery which will retire him.

But he did what he needed to do in AEW and likely has a job waiting for him in WWE in creative.

News that these all guys have been granted their release is spreading, all credited to Xeno.  Very likely he will not recover from this since most of the reposts are not noting Xeno's lack of confirming the reports himself.

Rumors are Tony may be doing house cleaning soon and letting more contracts expire.  

Bobby Fish is rumored to be on the chopping block. Fish is healthy, but not being used as Tony got nothing for him without Kyle.

A few more HHH guys should be up soon, which is likely where these rumors are coming from, and the guys likely will want to return home.  The guys Tony wants he already locked down until like 2024/5.

They tried to drop Fish in NXT and AEW decided to give him his 17th chance. I understand because “the boys” but like…it’s going to be weird when Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly show up to take the Trios titles without a 3rd.

The Miro was, but the Black one was not it seems. Which makes sense since after Cody feud Black hasn't done anything really good.

For the hundredth time, Black has been kept out of the ring because his back is fucked. Just 3 months ago he wasn’t sure he would ever wrestle again. He’s still rehabbing it.

If he asked for his release it’s because he’s going to be out a long time and doesn’t need the money and would rather take time off and be with his wife more. The release was probably denied to prevent him from signing with WWE if he heals quicker than expected.

I’m convinced it’s Kyle O’Reilly. He’s going to be out indefinitely and his long time partner and friend just got the boot.

And I was right. Black did ask for his release but it was because of his back issues and personal/mental health. He was denied because of fears of a potential WWE return down the road, and things are smoothed over for now while AEW does all they can to make him happy.
