Bitter 40 something year old Punk is just boring, I never liked the guy honestly but it's change the channel worthy at this point. Haven't watched much of AEW, can see why when CM Punk has a therapy session.

Social media is obsessed with how pathetic Adam Cole is looking these days. I get it, the AEW guys probably don't care about looking like a " WWE guy " out of spite.. but there's plenty of smaller guys who are barely 200lbs looking amazing while lean. Finn, Johnny, Ciampa, etc.

Actually I feel his work and promos have got worse too. Not bad but definitely not as good.

The theory is, apparently he had pneumonia in 2016 and lost 20lbs there, and being a hard-gainer, he was never able to recover the weight. But he sure looked a lot better in NXT. But then again, his only job was to train and work out, so you'd expect him to look good.

Seems happy when paid a lot of money, still loved by fans, and booked to always win. That is beyond what Cena got so he should be happy .

Don’t even care that it was a “lights out” match, OC winning was correct.

I really enjoyed the CM Punk/MJF segment. I was worried that they'd recycle the same stuff, but I thought the delivery here was even more passionate and intense than before and the content was great as well. MJF pointing out Punk's failures and painting him as a con-artist felt like it was close to the truth, while Punk accepting his failures but turning that into him being a tenacious fighter was great too.

It wasn't like he kept digging and making it more about the WWE, this was already out there and just a way of making it full circle. All the attention was on MJF/Punk and their match with Chicago.

I decided to check out SC to gauge interest in the show. Interesting to see that they're the complete opposite of me and seem to be over this MJF/Punk stuff and really only cared about the opener and closer of the show.

When you said that I thought about and I couldn't remember any other matches from tonight and had to look them up. Of P&P treated Jericho like trash for no reason. And if AEW is following canon from other wrestling promotions. Kingston was P&P enemy for the most part. Leyla and Red Velvet was the other match. Two of the lower tier girls who are somehow the top 2 contenders. I wonder if Tony will ever license 2 legit 2 quit for her.

And while looking up rankings. Kings of the Black Throne are number 5th after winning one match against a 4th ranked Varsity Blonds. While Sting and Darby beat the number 1 contenders are still unranked. Meanwhile Private Party went from 5th to number 1 contender after beating some dark jobbers in about 3 minutes.

So if Kings of the Black Throne are going after Death Triangle who is the third? Wish Miro was healthy, he would be awesome with them.

That visual of MJF cross-legged sitting on top of a broken Punk was pure money. Can’t wait to see how it plays out next week. Guessing the story of the match will play around Punk selling the damage his back has taken from Powerbomb’s and the steel chair in recent weeks. It’s gonna be great. Punk unleashing more Bret Hart inspired work, while MJF will prove why he’s probably the greatest young worker today in what will be his biggest match to date. Surprised we get the first encounter on Dynamite but very excited!

I just noticed they booked Anthony Bowens vs. Jon Moxley just to spite Emperor . :lol:
