I pay for all the aew ppvs, but I have a hard time paying for anymore, even though I know the wrestling in ROH will be top notch. Someone convince me

Yeah, that was it. I need to watch it. Really cool stipulation in having to pin, submit and keep someone down for a 10 count to win. So many deep stories you can make with this stipulation.  And would not be shocked at all to see DB want to do it in AEW.

5.25, so I know he broke it with Okada/Omega... but has this been a common thing or is it that extra to distinguish a new level of wrestling not seen before? Because it bothers me to this days. Okay fine, whatever then 4 stars is the new 3, right?

I'm looking forward to the Athena/Skye Blue match. I've been loving this Athena run, and Skye has grown on me quite a bit over the last six months ths or so.

It looks like they're building towards an Athena/Keira Hogan title match, should be good once it finally happens. Also Mack Attack, I can get behind them as a team, especially with that Ninja Rap chant.

Edit: The former Vanessa Borne (of NXT fame), showing up this week was awesome as well.

Edit 2: Yep, Athena/Keira has been announced for next week, I'm def excited for that one.

ROH 2.0 is such an odd universe. In some ways, it is its own thing but in some ways, it's a beefier version of AEW Dark.

I really hope she doesn't go over Athena if that's the case. That's "part-time Rock ending CM Punk's record WWE Championship reign" territory. People LOOOOVE what Athena has done as ROH Women's champion and if it ends to Rousey just showing up, yikes.

Only problem I foresee is that Athena has no competition left. She gonna pull a Joe and vacate the title too? I doubt it. That was stupid btw. Guy talks about being the King of Television for months and then just decides "meh this belt sucks anyway."

Yep, she left the company, following her SummerSlam match with Shayna Baszler. Technically, she announced her retirement via Instagram back on October 11th, however, she has done a few matches since then, teaming up with Marina Shafir.

She is def doing the job.  Only one that takes that title will be Billie.  Athena has no more contenders in RoH, but AEW can feed people down indefinitely.  Given RoH only does like 4 shows a year, Athena can hold that title for however long they need until they turn Billie on her.

Ronda made it very, very clear, she does not want to be a weekly warrior anymore.  Assume the deal is she just will not lose clean, which is easy when Athena cheats all the time, and has Billie to help her do so.

meh, I'm not crazy about the idea of RR taking the title from Athena. I hope Athena cheats to win. As a 1 time deal, I don't mind this match at all. I think the M.I.T. stuff Athena is the best stuff of her career.

I doubt Ronda is sticking around. Imagine they go for a DQ or Billie KO's Ronda with the belt.

Slight change to the Final Battle card. The six-man tag team match between BCC and Mark Briscoe/FTR has Mox swapping in for Wheeler Yuta. Looks like Yuta will be defending the Pure title after all.

Mox likes to wrestle! Lee Johnson & Josh Woods had a solid match last show. I find ROH 2.0 to be a little blah in certain respects but at least wrestlers can work on their craft. The fans seem to enjoy the product.

After Collision ended they taped an episode of ROH. Tony Khan revealed the new ROH Women’s Television Championship.

This is what I think of the amount of AEW/ROH titles.

Trash.

If you can't make up interesting stories. Title feuds can automatically makes stories. More titles less work.

Now we just need ROH womens tag and trios titles. And AEW will need both sets as well. Can't forget the men they need a new title maybe a deathmatch title. But if the men have one need a woman version as well in fairness. Woman deathmatch title. Well I guess I am finally done. You know NJPW has Jr belts too. Every male belt will get a jr version as well.

On one episode of Dynamite in the near feature everyone seen on the show will have a belt.

Given the women had a single belt before it is kind of hard to really complain about a second belt when men have the world title, tv title, tag titles, three man titles, pure title, etc.

Belts are a problem in AEW and RoH, but since the women now have a total of four across both feds, it is clear they are not the problem.

AEW/ROH has too many titles and their women division is weak, so let's add another title to a weak division.

Between this and some of the ridiculous quotes coming out from the press conference, it's like Tony really wanted to piss in my egg nog.

Here's the thing: AEW/ROH doesn't really have that many titles when you think about it. The roster is huge and they spread the titles out so that they aren't all featured on every show.

The problem is that because ROH doesn't have its own TV deal and Tony Khan thinks the fans want to see ROH content (they don't), they feature titles fans don't care about or don't want to see as often as they are. If you remove ROH from the equation, AEW has fewer titles than WWE does. The WWE has 3 men's world titles right now. They have 3 tag team titles to AEW's 2. The only thing AEW has more of is mid-card singles titles, which I'll give you now that the Continental Championship is apparently going to be a thing. I don't know why they are doing that on top of the International Championship and TNT Championship. I thought it was going to be an annual award, like AEW's mini version of the G1 or King of the Ring. I don't get it. If you want a mid-card title that can travel to other promotions, take the fucking International title off Orange Cassidy already.

I think TK finally listened to the fans given recent events, and we won't be seeing ROH titles on AEW TV anymore, or at least very little. The ROH World title, yeah, fine, because of the whole Triple Crown thing, but I'm willing to let that slide for now. But the TV title got vacated and awarded at Final Battle, the Women's title has never been featured in AEW and probably won't any time soon, and the Pure title rarely made an appearance and has really only been defended at ROH shows.

If going forward they stop featuring ROH titles on AEW TV, we won't be seeing this complaint anymore. At least until they add the AEW Pacific Championship, the AEW Eurasian Championship and the AEW Antarctic Championship.

EDIT: And I just realized, why the fuck did he reveal the ROH Women's Television Championship after Collision? Final Battle was literally the night before. AND they had a huge Survival of the Fittest Match to determine the new TV champion. Why didn't he reveal it before or after that match? The fuck?
